Logan laid on the coach in Peggy's building the Stark gave her. He was thinking on how to tell his soulmate what he is. What he has done. She not like most of the girls who would run as soon as they found out what he was. While Logan was in thought he didn't see Peggy sneak up into the room.
"What I thought. The might Logan wasn't going to lazy around drinking a beer on his free time." Said Peggy moving Logan's feet off the coach so she can sit.
"yeah while I was lost in thought beside their ain't much to do around the city dariln'." Said Logan getting a laugh from Peggy.
"No I suppose not in one of the biggest city in the world." Said Peggy getting Logan to shake his head.
"Hey I'm from Canada. I more use to the country more than anything." Said Logan
"Ok knucklehead. What were you think about?" asked Peggy getting a look of doubt before Logan sighed.
"I was thinking about the last mission I saw Bucky and cap. The mission that cap gave me the picture." Said Logan getting a Peggy to look at the carpet. "I shouldn't have brought it up." Logan was getting off the coach when Peggy grabbed his arm.
"No it's just could you tell me the mission?" asked Peggy
"Don't you know ever mission cap went on?" asked Logan getting a look from Peggy
"Contrary to popular believe I didn't know ever mission that Steve went on. I did have other duties in the war." Said Peggy getting a surrender look from Logan.
"Ok I believe you darlin'. Alright it went like this." Said Logan
Flashback
A German transporting truck was coming to a check point. When they stopped it a solider walked up to the driver door seeing an Asia solider in the driver seat.
"What is business?" asked the Germany
"Bring in people to the contration camp." Said the driver getting a look from the driver
"Mind if I take a look?" asked the Germany getting a shake of the head from the driver.
"No go ahead." Said the driver the solider to two of the other man with him. When the solider went to open the back he got blasted in the head by a shield. Captain America and the howling commandos came out the back hitting the solider that went to check.
"Katanna slice." Said a man dressed in red and black with two katannas in his hand taking down some of the soldiers.
Another man with a long black coat grabbed one of the solider by the throat and threw him in the gaud post taking out anyone in there.
A woman and Logan took out the remain solider. The driver took out a pistol and shoot the solider that was trying to get away without moving from the driver seat.
"Told you I could take them out now give me the hat dum dum. Because as everyone know the ladies would never be able to resist the charms of Wade Wilson with that hat right?" Said the now named Wade
"No the deal was you couldn't say one word while going after them. You said katanna slice." Said dum dum. Getting a look from wade
"Told you. You could do it." Said the driver getting out of the truck.
"Shut up maverick. I mean David." Said Wade after getting a look from Logan, victor, and the woman.
"Told he never shut up bub." Said Logan talking to Gabe jones.
"Jesus Victor. Think you killed him good enough?" asked Bucky looking at the man Victor
"I don't know? Maybe you like to find out pretty boy." Said Victor
"Hey no fighting this is an important mission." Said cap getting between the two.
"Do you want to be public enemy number one Victor?" asked Logan
"Maybe I do Jimmy. And maybe if Silverfox over there would pull her weight we be done quick." Said Victor look at Silverfox cause her to raise her gun.
"Hey remember the mission." Said Logan
"Yeah save a bunch of POW and become hero. I got it Jimmy." Said Victor
"So what is the plan cap?" asked Logan as Bucky and cap laid a map it on the hood of the truck.
"The POW and important are in this one. The civilians are in the other buildings. They may have told us our mission was to save the POW, but I'm not letting anyone stay in that camp. So we go in squares. Dugan, Wade, Gabe, and Silverfox will take care of anyone trying to stop us. David, Jim, Montgomery, and Jacques will take care of the civilians. Me, Bucky, Logan and victor will take care of the POW and important. Okay move out." Said captain American getting nods from each member expect one.
"Wait you mean to tell me. That I can't be the big hero c'mon." said Wade
"Well than miss out on all the fun that will have taking down all the soldiers that run away." Said Dugan winking at cap
"What no way you're getting all the fun and that hat will be mine." Said Wade ready to fight anyone now.
Before getting back in the truck Victor stopped Logan and said. "Jimmy what about that mutant Striker sent us after?" getting a look from Logan to make sure cap and the howling commandos weren't listening.
"We have to find him or her first. We don't know what they look like. So don't try anything funny Victor." Said Logan
Hopping back in the truck as the head to the camp knowing there would be another gate with guards up ahead. They reach the gate ready to fight anyone who came towards them. The gate came in sight David pulled out his pistol and shot through the window killing the guards and charging through the gate. The teams spilt up going for the designated position
"Need some help have a katanna." Said wade taking out guards and slicing bullets before they get to him
"Get down." Said Silverfox shooting out the guards in the tower before they hit wade.
"Oh thanks fox can I have a kiss." Said wade getting a look from Silverfox
"wade." Said Silverfox
"yeah." Said wade looking at her ready for the kiss
"Shut up." Said Silverfox getting wade to lower his head.
Meanwhile cap and Logan were taking out the guards that were on the ground to the one cabin Logan armed with a machine gun shoot any guard that cap didn't take out with his shield knocking them down. While Victor and Bucky were taking guards out on top of the building.
"Think you can keep up pretty boy." Said Victor using his claws to take out another guard on top of the roof.
"Yeah but can you animal man." Said Bucky shooting three guards that were behind Victor. That got a growl from him.
"Victor you and Bucky cover the back." Said Logan getting a grin from Victor.
"Whatever you say Jimmy." Said Victor hopping down from the roof and land by the back door with Bucky behind him.
Logan and cap broke through the front door seeing only two people on this side the capture colonel that captain was went after and a boy. Captain went towards the colonel picking him up as Logan went towards the kid, but the kid scooted away from him afraid.
"Hey kid I'm not gonna hurt you." Said Logan as he picked him up and put him over his shoulder. He saw victor and Bucky come and shale their head indication no one else in the cabin.
"Ok we'll head back for the truck and get out of here." Said cap as Bucky covered him.
"Victor you go in front of me take out anyone you see." Said Logan getting a look from Victor.
"You sure Jimmy. You're not trying to hide anything from me are you?" asked Victor
"This not the time Victor. We have to get them out of here so go." Said Logan getting in Victor's face
"Ok Jimmy just make sure you haven't lost your edge." Said Victor head out the cabin doing him all four run
Logan following the rear most of the team had taken all the guards out there wasn't many left, but one guard came behind Logan grabbing a grenade and throwing it at Logan and the kid.
"Logan!" screamed Silverfox as the grenade went towards him, but before it could land the kid Logan was carrying lifted his hand up and a buzzing sound was heard the grenade then went back towards the solider blowing up on him.
Logan look at the kid knowing that he had found the mutant that Striker had sent him after. Logan got to the truck as the rest of the prisoner and team did. There was enough room for the team so Logan hand the kid of to one of the people.
"Here take him bub." Said Logan as he started to walk away the kid grabbed his causing Logan to look at the kid.
"Thank you." Said the kid getting a nod from Logan.
"What you name kid?" asked Logan as the kid let go of his arm.
"Erik." Said Erik getting a smile from Logan as they escorted the truck out of the camp.
"Hey Jimmy you see. That I guess we found our guy huh." Said Victor ready to take the kid until Logan put his hand on him.
"No didn't you feel the wind change it wasn't the kid." Said Logan getting a look from Victor
"Are you crazy Jimmy? That who were looking for. I don't have time for you to go soft." Said Victor as he and Logan stared down each other.
"I'm not going soft. You just want to believe what you saw. So you can make Striker make you the leader. I'm in charge Victor and we do what I say. Got it brother." Said Logan standing face to face with Victor.
"You need to stop being this Logan. Ever since you got that soulmark. You've started to go soft just face it were animal that all will ever be." Said Victor walking away
Steve walked dup to Logan. Look as Victor walked past him and said "having trouble with your brother?"
"Yeah he sometime to meat head need to learn that I'm still here." Said Logan getting a laugh from Steve
"Yeah I get that. Can I ask you a favor Logan?" asked Steve as he and Logan sat down.
"Sure what is it bub." Said Logan as Steve reach into his shirt and pulled out a picture handing it to Logan
"This girl when this war is over. Make sure to check on her for me. She going to need some back up." Said Steve
"Hmm you mean saving." Said Logan getting a laugh from Steve
"Trust me Peggy Carter is the last person on the face of the earth, who needs saving. Knowing her she going to get in to trouble more than anyone." Said Steve getting a look from Logan
"You do relies that I'm a trouble magnet to. I think your just sending me there to give us more work." Said Logan getting a shake for the head from Steve.
"No just you two would probably get along better than anyone. If I should fall you know." Said Steve
"And you think I won't cap." Said Logan
"No you too tough to die probably take a firing squad and ask for another." Said Steve
"Alright cap. I look her up for you bub." Said Logan looking at the picture
Flashback end
"Thank you Logan." Said Peggy getting a nod from Logan as he got up to get a beer the phone rang Peggy went and got it. "hello." Peggy face got more worried "ok." Peggy than hang up the phone.
"What going on?" asked Logan
"They need me at work." Said Peggy
"What going on at the SSR." Said Logan getting a shocked look from Peggy "what you think that I believe you work at a telephone operating company. Please I know you for two days now darlin' . I can say that would be to boring beside you need to work on keeping cover of building." Getting a sigh and shake of head from Peggy
"Ok Logan. Howards stark was attack by someone with silver hair. I'm heading to meet him and my fellow agents to see what we can find." Said Peggy as she notice Logan getting his stuff together. "What are you doing?"
"Hey to you I always have you back beside there's nothing else to do, and I need to see if Starks still that cocky as ever." Said Logan as he grab the keys to the car getting a look from Peggy
"No. not happening." Said Peggy trying to get the keys as Logan kept them away from her. "Stop being stubborn and give me the keys."
"I think that the reason I'm stubborn is because I'm your soulmate darlin'." Said Logan as he walk to the car and Peggy followed.
