Jung Ho was slipping in and out of consciousness as they arrived at the hospital. Before they arrived he could scarcely remember hearing his friends frantic cry for him to be alright, but he couldn't muster up the strength to open his eyes let alone move to let his friends know he will be alright. Jung Ho was wheeled into the hospital with Ji Hoon and Yi Kyung running beside the gurney. Another familiar voice broke through their frantic cries, however in his delirious state he couldn't quite place it he could have sworn he heard the female voice say, "Yeobo, what happened?" He couldn't verify that he heard her correctly before he once again slipped into darkness."
Yi Kyung ran as fast as he could with his hurt leg beside Jung Ho as his wife Gi Eun Hye ran up beside them, "Yeobo, what happened?" He shook his head as she grabbed the side of the gurney and pushed it faster, "It happened so fast I don't remem…" The pain caught up to him and his legs gave out from under him and he collapsed to the ground. Ji Hoon and Eun Hye let go of the gurney and ran to his side, "You idiot you're hurt too. I know you are worried about him, but worry about yourself first you, bastard."
Yi Kyung could see the fear creep into his wife's eyes as she started checking him over, "Where are you hurt you, IDIOT." He tried to stop her as he saw that her hands were shaking as she saw the wound on his leg, "It's nothing…please go make sure Jung Ho is alright." Ji Hoon turned to the doctor he called sister-in-law and contradicted his words, "A gunshot wound is NOT NOTHING!" Eun Hye started hitting him in the arm, "You idiot a gunshot wound is nothing. Before you worry about others worry about yourself. What would happen to our daughter and me if something happened to you? Let's get you treated first and then I will go check on Jung Ho" He grabbed his wife's fist and pulled her into a hug, "Sorry I wasn't thinking…but you and I both know that you cannot treat family members."
Ji Hoon looked at the two embracing. It's hard to believe these two use to hate each other when they were back in school and now the two were married a had a child together. He could see her shaking in fear and put a reassuring hand on her shoulder, "Sister-in-law I will take him to get treated…you are the only one with the skills to make sure he survives this surgery." She raised up from her husband's chest and looked at Ji Hoon, "Ok…but make sure this idiot gets treated and I'll take care of the other idiot. He has a lot of explain to do. Like what kind of trouble he has gotten himself into this time and why my husband had to get shot in the process. If I don't like his answer…than I will kill him myself."
Yi Kyung watched as his wife got up from beside him and stalked off after Jung Ho who had already been wheeled into the operating room. He could hear Ji Hoon laughing beside, "Remind me to never get on her bad side. Come on let's get that leg checked at…there's not a lot me can do here until he gets out of surgery." Ji Hoon helped his friend down the hall to an examination room. Luckily it was a in and out shot and didn't hit any vital points. After the attending doctor finished bandaging him up, they made their way back to the doors of the surgery room. Before they could turn the corner they were met with a female voice asking questions, "Is he alive? What exactly are his injuries and to what extent?"
There with another doctor stood a dark-haired woman in a business suit with a man behind her. Ji Hoon had spent enough time in his field to get a good read on people and he could tell at first glance that she was the no nonsense type and expected her questions to be answered immediately. The doctor explained to the woman that the first shot missed anything major, however the second shot nicked his lung causing it to collapse. He continued to explain that the patient has already went into cardiac arrest twice during the surgery however they were able to revive him. The entire time that the doctor was explaining all of this to the woman, the expression on her face didn't change.
Who the hell was this woman and what exactly did she have to do with Jung Ho? The doctor retreated back into the OR leaving the woman behind. She turned to talk to the man behind her, "So he failed in what he was suppose to do." Ji Hoon felt Yi Kyung stiffen beside him and put a restraining hand on him to keep him from going toward her as the woman continued, "I will call it in…if the doctor comes back out call me immediately." Even with a hurt leg Yi Kyung jerked from his grasp and went after the woman. Ji Hoon was about to go after him when the other man saw him and stopped him, "Who are you?" He turned toward the man, "I could ask you the same question, but I would like to add. What the hell do you have to do with Jung Ho and what have you gotten him mixed up in?"
The man smiled, "You must be Yi Kyung or is it Ji Hoon…with that short temper I would put my guess of Yi Kyung." Ji Hoon looked at him in confusion, "You know about me but I can't say the same." The man smirked, "Didn't offer it, but the name is Jay." Ji Hoon was smart to know that that was a fake name, however he let it slide, "What is your involvement with my friend?" The man shrugged, "That is not for me to say." Ji Hoon had had enough and marched up to him grabbing him my the shirt, "Then who is it to say." Jay looked at him and than toward the operating room, "The man in that room right now," then he turned to look at him, "or the woman that just left."
Yi Kyung searched the halls for the woman. She couldn't have gotten far, she had just came through these door. He was about to head back toward the surgery ward when he heard her voice, "He is in surgery now. No sir…the task was not completed. They don't know sir…yes sir we are fine." He didn't know what they were talking about, however it was pissing him off by the minute. His friend was lying on a OR table and all this bitch cared about was that Jung Ho didn't complete some damn task. What kind of people were these and how the hell did Jung Ho get mixed up with them.
The women hung up the phone and he was about to go confront her when the phone suddenly fell from her hand and she collapsed to the ground on her knees. He watched in disbelief as the woman started crying and pounding on her chest, "Jung Ho, you bastard. You said you wouldn't get hurt. You better be alright or else you'll die by my hands." Yi Kyung hung back and watch the woman cry. 'Who the hell was this woman,' he thought to himself, 'and what did she have to do with his friend.' He watched as she pulled herself together and picked herself off the floor.
She turned around and came face to face with him. He saw a startled expression on her face before she got control of her emotions and her face back in place, "I heard you were the one who brought him in. Thank you. But, my I ask who exactly are you?" Yi Kyung looked at the woman trying to study her to get a read off of her and see just how much information he needed to give out. Her eyes were still red from her crying and it seem it was taking all of her will power not to lose it. He was about to answer when suddenly the color drained from her face and she started to crumble to the ground. Yi Kyung lunged forward and caught her before she hit the ground.
"Yah! Come to your senses," he yelled as he shook her, "I said wake up." He heard the door behind him open and Ji Hoon voice behind him as he accessed the situation, "Yah! Yi Kyung! What the hell did you do?" He looked at him as he came beside him with the other man behind him, "For once I didn't do anything. She asked who I was and then fainted." The man took the woman from him and checked her over, "Did she hit the ground or anything?" Yi Kyung shook his head, "No…she asked me who I was and before I could answer she passed out. I caught her before she hit the ground." The man checked her pulse and gently started tapping her cheek, "Eun Young! Yah! Eun Young come to your senses."
The woman called Eun Young didn't stir at all which made the man question him again, "Are you sure she didn't hit when she fell. You not exactly in the best of shape to be catching someone." Yi Kyung looked at him angerly, "I positive I caught her before she could hit her head. She not staying unconscious because of a bump on the head." The man raised his voice, "I'm not worried about her head," he looked down at the women. "I'm worrying about what is inside of her. She's pregnant. I'm worried about her child."
