Waking up this morning the first thing i'm greeted with was a glowing blue box with text in it saying, Hello and welcome to the game of life. Would you like to run the tutorial ? Y/N. At the moment I was still a little sleepy and chose to ignore it for now. Like last nights dinner breakfast this morning was uneventful thankfully today is Saturday so i'm free to do what I like. I look at clock in the kitchen and see it's 8:30 am so I decide to head to the tree's I met that girl at yesterday.

While i'm walking towards the trees my mind is still on that weird glowing thing that was floating above me . After a little bit of contemplation I decide to look more into it when I reach the tree. Just thinking that I could have sworn I heard a "Ping" noise.

It does not take long before I reach the spot I met Youmu . Since she's not here yet

I chose to mess with the floating box from this morning. Somehow I just know how to bring up the box and begin to form it in front of me. Unlike when I woke up this time the box say's something different.

Loading...Loading...Loading... Game of life menu {Start} {Settings} {Quit}

Wait wait wait that was not there before. Huh must have been a glitch earlier . Well this is here so might as well check what i'm signing up for. "Ping" .So I press the Settings button.

A new menu opens up. {Sound}{Mode}{Lighting}{Back}. I push the {Mode} button. A new screen pops up. Please choose a mode for the game. {Balanced}

{Unfair} {Long con} {Mary sue}. I press the Balanced button. This brings up a new screen with text.

Balanced mode: is a fair and just version of the game with moderate level weapons , easy to hard boss battles, normal leveling up and decent paced story telling. {Select}{Back}.

So a normal game for casual players eh. I'll keep this one in mind but for now I press the Back button before pressing the Unfair button. "Ping"

Unfair mode: is an unbalanced version of the game with crappy level weapons with next to no good ones, medium to super hard boss battles , slow leveling up and slow paced story. {Select}{Back}.

Ok for the hardcore bored with everything kind of gamers. So not for me. "Ping". I press Back again and choose the Long con button next.

Long con mode: In this mode you take your time leveling up , getting weapons , fighting high level bosses and taking the story at a long pace.{Select}{Back}.

This seems like an ok option but i'm not a fan of the whole slow level up process . While not the one i'd go to first for still better then the Unfair option. "Ping" . Pushing Back and finally I press the {Mary sue} button.

Mary sue mode : Everything is somewhat easy , Legendary weapons are easier to get, bosses can go down in many ways , leveling up depends on what you do to level up. Story goes at your pace. {Select}{Back}

So that's kind of overpowered. But it sounds like a lot of fun. What no ping sound.

I think the chose here is really really clear . I press the Mary sue button and press Select.

As soon as I choose that things start to feel funny. Like I can do anything. I shrug the feeling of for now before hitting the back button taking the the setting menu hitting the back button there to take me to the main menu . Once there I press the start button.

Starting …... Hello and welcome to the game of life would you like to run the tutorial?Y/N. I press the yes button. I hear a hum and a light blue portal appears a few feet in front of me . Now a normal person would run away in terror but i'm completely calm about this and start to walk toward the portal.

Once I enter in there is a flash of light and i'm suddenly in a different place all together . The sky is green , there is a stream , where there were once tree are now stone pillars covered in moss. Birds of many shapes and sizes are flying high in the sky. The stream is just flowing with both fresh looking water and plenty of colorful fish. Everything's so peaceful.

Till a new screen pops up in my face. Warning new life form detected. How would you like to handle this problem ? A,add to party. B,remove from tutorial. Wait what!

Before I can fully grasp what I just read I hear a loud gasp form behind me. I turn around to find Youmu standing there with her hands covering her mouth .

Oh crud.

And that's a wrap for this chapter . Sorry that they're so short now but in future they will be much longer. I wont lie I hate set up work but sadly I need to because it would make no sense otherwise. Anyway last chance to turn around if you don't like op stories. Keep in mind i'm going to include a lot of this from different legends and mytho's and a few video games/movies here and there. With that just expect some time skips every now and again. It will take a few chapters till the start of the canon series but bare with me it will be worth it...i hope. Things are going to be very very different then most other gamer stories as you've seen here. oh and before anyone asks this id High School DxD so of course there will be a harem ok . Oh and flames will be ignored
