I'm sorry about the late update! I had started this chapter a while ago, then I lost my inspiration and I got busy, but I finally finished it! I will have to go back through and edit, so please excuse any mistakes at the moment, although feel free to tell me nicely if you see one that way I don't overlook it later on:) The first chapter is also being edited and should be reposted shorty.

I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Disclaimer: Naruto and the other characters are not mine, only the plot is mine.

Thanks for reading!

I smile as I see my school come into view; the faster I get into that building, the faster my day will end. The amount of cars pulling into the school lot isn't as many as usual, and I find myself getting a nice parking spot with ease. I try to calm my excitement down, not wanting to seem over excited about something I can't tell anybody. I count to three and try to make my breathing normal, and in only a few seconds I find myself breathing at an even pace.

I take one last glance in my mirror, fluffing my hair a bit and rubbing off some loose eye-shadow, before I step out of my car. I look around for the familiar cars of Karin and Naruto, but I can't find the bright orange viper or apple-red Porsche anywhere. In fact, I can't see too many cars anywhere. There's car scattered here and there, but for the most part, the student parking-lot is empty.

I begin to wonder if there's field trip or skip day, but my brain can't come up with either. Wondering if Karin or Naruto sent me a text, I pull my phone out, and almost drop it. The time my phone shows is 7:30, and nobody ever really shows up to school until 7:45(at earliest). I sigh as I realize I'll have to wait at least 15 minutes until either Karin or Naruto show up.

Not wanting to sit in my car for 15 minutes, I head into the school. The cool air greets me the minute I open the door, and I smile as the floors, walls, and lockers seem to gleam. I've always been somewhat of a neat-freak as far as I can remember(which isn't too long of a time). A few people linger in the halls, and they give me waves or smiles as I head towards my locker, and I actually smile and wave back for once.

Usually Karin or Naruto would tell me to ignore anyone who says or does anything towards me. I had asked why once, and the only reply they had was 'to keep my from being corrupted.' They said people would pretend to be nice to me just to get close to me and use me for their own advantage. Personally, I don't believe most of the people want to use me to their own advantage, a few might want to, but most of the people just seem friendly, and I always felt bad having to ignore them.

I continue my pleasant morning of greetings until I reach my locker, in a better mood than normal, and I think about coming to school earlier than I usually do. I take my time getting what I need for first hour out of my locker. Making sure that I have the right book and the right notebook (my first hour teacher is crazy when it comes to leaving the class), and I do not want to be yelled at first thing in the morning.

As I take one last look in my locker mirror, I can see Karin's reflection coming into the mirror. I panic slightly as I see the angry look on her face, and I wonder if she heard about me being nice to people, but as she gets closer to me and I begin to think I'll be killed- she walks right past me. I watch as she continues down the hall, only to stop at some guys locker and completely blow up on him. I can see the uncomfortable look on his face, and I try to hear what she's yelling about, but it all seems to be gibberish.

Taking the Karin distraction as a blessing, I turn the other way and plan to take the long way to my first hour. Only to find Naruto coming right at me, a big smile on his face. I grimace slightly as I realize Karin yelling at me might have been better than having to talk to Naruto, but I put a smile on my face and try not to frown when he kisses me on the cheek.

"So what's Karin yelling at that guy about?" He leans himself against the nearest locker and I find that both my escape routes are blocked and I need to get either Naruto leave or Karin to stop yelling at the guy and move on.

"I'm not sure, she just went over there and started to yell at him." Naruto nods and peers over me to glance at Karin still yelling at the helpless guy; although, he seems to be trying to say something back. Bingo.

"Why don't you try and help diffuse the situation. You're good at stuff like that, and I'd feel bad if Karin gets in trouble and nobody tried to help her out." He seems to want to go help her, but I can still see it in his eyes that he doesn't want to leave me. Clingy fool.

"What about you?"

"I have to, go get my homework out of my car. I forgot it, and you know we can't go to our cars once school starts." He nods.

"Okay, I'll see you in third hour." He plants a kiss on my forehead and walks down the hall to save Karin; I have to fight the urge to run as I am finally able to be alone once again.

During lunch later on that day.

"And then I was like, well she didn't say that, and that makes you the liar. Of course he still tried to deny it after that, but I wasn't going to let him get away with that." And on and on she goes. I can feel my brain cells dying as Karin tells the others at the table about her blow-up this morning.

I had heard the story at least ten times today. In first hour she had texted me the story, and then in second hour she told me, and then in third hour she told Naruto ,who happened to me right by me, so I heard it again. And know I am hearing once again since the others at the table hadn't heard the story yet.

I personally don't see why she had to blow up at the guy or why she has to retell the story five hundred times, but Karin and everyone else does. I try not to visually sigh as Karin continues on, adding some details I hadn't been told earlier, and I'm pretty sure she through them in just to add a little more spice.

"So that was it." Karin smiles proudly as all the others stare opened mouth at her; I on the other hand, kept eating my lunch with my mouth closed.

"Oh, Sakura do you want to come over later?" I know she only asks because that would make the others jealous of me and make the others desire to become better friends with her, and Karin is always looking for attention. Lucky me, I already have plans.

"Sorry, Karin. I'm suppose to go help my aunt pick out her wedding dress." She frowns, and I know that's not according to her plan, but my aunt is actually getting married, so she doesn't question the lie.

"Well, I suppose that I'll have to hang out with someone else then." Everybody instantly starts chatting, and I try to block it out, hoping that she hurries up and picks someone, but she doesn't. That leads to the table being extremely loud right up until the time she picks someone to hang out with, and that same moment is right before the bell.

My ears don't stop ringing until sixth hour after hearing all the whining and 'pick mes' during lunch.

I smile happily as I finally get to go do what I've been looking forward to all day, and even better, it means no Karin or Naruto. I try not to act too happy as I make my way out to my car. Naruto had to leave school early, dentist appointment, so I don't have to wait for him at my locker, and Karin has probably already left with her afternoon buddy.

As I open the doors to go outside, I find the parking lot is full of honking cars and people trying to cut each other off, and I try not to tell everyone to just move so I can get on with my plans. I quickly hop into my car and get in line to leave the school, and glance in my mirror to see my packed bags of clothes while I wait to move up in the line.

I still have to change into the clothes because I did not want to raise too much suspicion changing in the school and having people see me in them. Instead, I decided I'll change in a restaurant between here and South-Konoha. That's if I can get out of this parking-lot.

I try to stay calm as the honking continues and people keep acting like idiots, but once I see this idiot come up behind me from the side and almost hit my car, I about loose it. I honk my own horn and flip the guy off, debating whether or not to back up my car into his. And then I loose it, literally. I start laughing, thinking about how I almost just about backed up into somebody because they almost hit my car. Me backing up into the guy would defeat the whole purpose of getting mad at him for almost hitting my car.

By the time I get my giggles under control, I am leaving the parking lot and soon turning left instead of right on the main road.

I enjoy the scenery as I drive towards the south end. There aren't as many cars as the north end and I enjoy the more relaxed environment.. Few people head towards the north end from the south end, and I wonder how often people from the north end go to the south end. I seem to be the only one at the moment.

I see the parking lot for the restaurant I want to change in, and I slowly pull in; only a few cars dotting the parking lot. I grab my change of clothes and head in, smiling too much. The people inside give me a weird look as I walk in. I make sure to order some food before using the bathroom; it is a courtesy after all.

After changing and grabbing my food to go, I leave with no hesitation in my body. Except maybe a little in my clothes; they itch a little bit.

As I get into South Konoha, I don't see the first street I had turned down yesterday right away, and when I do, I turn at the last second and almost cause the car behind me to hit me. I wave apologetically to them as they keep going straight ( I highly doubt they could see me with my tinted windows though, but hey, it's the thought that counts).

I find the second street more easily, not almost causing an accident this time, and turn down it with plenty of hopes. I see the park just as easily as I had seen the second street, and I pull in and park in the same spot I had yesterday. I stay in my car a few minutes after I pull in, taking deep breaths and trying to stay calm.

After deciding that I'm ready, I give myself a nod in my rear-view mirror before opening my door and stepping out. The air is humid and hot just as it was yesterday, and having the same temperature here, just like my home makes me feel a little more like these people. Stupid, but it's true.

I enter through the same wrought-iron gate just like yesterday, and follow the same path as I did yesterday, but instead of ending where Kiba bumped into me, I follow the path that he made when going to meet his friends.

I approach the tree and see nobody around. I wonder if they played me, but as I look around the park, I notice that not too many people around my age are around. I try to calculate the time I arrived yesterday. My school had ended at 2:30, I had taken fifteen minutes to get into my car (thanks to Karin and Naruto), taken ten minutes to get out of the parking lot, and then it took me ten minutes to get here. So I had roughly gotten here around 3:05, give or take a few minutes.

Checking my phone I realize was about right in my estimating, my phone's clock reading 3:08. I remember Ino said they get out of school at 3:00 and then meet up here, so I guess they just aren't darting over here right after. I suppose they might even have the same parking lot troubles I had earlier, and I know that can definitely slow people down.

I sit down on under the tree and begin to wait for people to show up since I have nothing else to do and I am afraid to really walk around and possibly have something happen to me. I check social media on my phone, play a few games, and by 3:15 no one has showed up still. I sigh and lean back on the tree; glad the tree is big enough to keep the sun off of me. I begin to relax, and before I know it my eyes shut and my breathing becomes even.

"Hey! Hey! P-i-n-k-y." I stir to the voice of someone, and open my eyes to find Sasuke starring down at me.

"Huh?" I rub my eyes a little and look up again, only this time he has his arms crossed and is glaring down at me." What time is it?"

"3:29."

"Oh." I thought it would be later, I have only been out for fourteen minutes.

" Why is no one around?" Sasuke drops his glare and slides down to sit next to me.

Third Person POV

" Kiba got detention, Neji had to go meet some family, Shikamaru is on his way, and Temari and Tenten should be changing at Tenten's and be here shortly. Oh, and Ino's flirting with some of the skater guys by the pipe." Sakura nods as he tells her all that. She had thought that he would just ignore her or shrug, but he actually gave her the information she wanted.

"The pipe?" He glances over at and gave her a fixed gaze.

" A half-pipe? For skateboarding." He says it 'like duh,' and Sakura blushes as she realizes she probably sounded like an idiot.

"I forgot you're not from around here." Sakura nods and tries to hide her blush.

"Sakura?"

"Yeah?" He turns towards her and Sakura has to keep her head down to hide her blush. Their faces too close for her own comfort.

"Do, wha- where did you go to elementary school?" Sakura blanks out as she hears that question. Ever since her accident she can't remember anything farther back then a year ago, and any question involving her past makes her uncomfortable. She just has to go with what her parents had told her, and that stills makes her uncomfortable; she feels that she is lying to because she can't validate whether her answers are true or not.

"Lil Konoha Prep." Sakura says the words, but she doesn't believe them. She had gone through her family's photos once, looking for kindergarten pictures, but she hadn't been able to find any. She hadn't been able to find any pictures from any time before high school actually, but she never asked her parents about it.

Sasuke doesn't say anything, but he turns back towards the park, and Sakura is sure she can see doubt in his eyes. Sakura is going to ask him why he doesn't believe her, but as she is about to-three voices, plus one silent figure, halt her before she can even start.

"Hey guys!"

"Hi Sakura, Sasuke!"

"That shirt is so cute!"

Temari, Ino, and Tenten all walk over to them with energy, Shikamaru following behind slowly. Sakura smiles as she sees them; although a little upset that she can't ask Sasuke why he doubted her answer.

Ino, Temari, and Tenten all sit down across from Sakura and Sasuke; Shikamaru laying down next to Sasuke instead. Sakura smiles as she realizes these people are real friends, and she wonders what that makes Karin to her since she never acts like a friend compared to the ways these people act around her and each other.

It doesn't take long before all four of the girls are talking non-stop while boys simply sit and listen. Sakura learns tons of things about Ino who never takes a breath. Sakura learns that Ino is obsessed with boys(currently Kiba) but still likes to flirt, has no siblings, her parents own a flower shop, knows a lot about hair, make-up, clothes, and she is not afraid to speak her mind.

After Ino finally ends, Sakura learns all about Temari. Sakura learns that she is a tomboy(especially compared to Ino), she has two younger brothers, moved to Konoha when she was nine, loves the heat, and is not afraid to call anybody out and confront them. Sakura made a mental note to not get on Temari's bad side as she listened to the stories the girls told about her getting into fights and giving out black-eyes.

Lastly, Sakura learns about Tenten. Not to Sakura's surprise, she learns Tenten and Temari are best friends, Tenten is a tomboy as well, she has no siblings, has a strange obsession with medieval weapons, and is currently in a complicated relationship with Neji. She also learns they have another friend named Hinata who is Neji's cousin, and is currently stuck tutoring an underclassmen at school. Ino says Hinata just cannot say no to anyone and is always doing things that keeps her busier than she should be.

Sakura smiles as she listens to the girls and talk and learns about their personalities and stories together and alone. Sakura only imagines how much fun and in excitement they have in their lives, while she has basically none in her life. Or, at least she has no recollection of having very fun moments and exciting events happening to her. In fact, the most exciting thing that has happened to her over the time she can remember is when Karin had a sleepover and it turned into a wicked party until the cops came. Sakura's parents had been furious when they found out she was in jail , and they let her know that after they picked her up from jail in the morning.

Sakura slightly smiles as she recollects the one of few memories she knows to be true, and she finds it is a mistake to do so. Ino, Tenten, and Temari instantly catch onto her big smile in the middle of their conversation, and immediately they begin to question Sakura.

"What could you possibly be smiling about when I am talking about my horrible embarrassment from freshmen year, Sakura?" Sakura's smile instantly drops as she realizes what Ino just said, and she mumbles out a few words like "party," "cops," and "jail" to avoid seeming mean. Of course, mumbling out those words may have been a worse decision than saying she was laughing at Ino or the always cool "nothing."

"Oh, little Sakura isn't as sweet and proper as she seems. Tell me, how long were you in the slammer?" Sakura's ears go red as Temari speaks, and Sakura hides her head after she notices Sasuke has started to look at her aswell. Probably thinking she is an attention seeker or something.

Sakura decides it is probably best to answer, and she does, hoping they don't think she is a troublemaker or a bad person.

"I, well, I. I was at a friend's house, she invited some people over, and it escalated into a house party. Then I guess, it was kinda loud and disruptive, so the cops were called and everyone got taken to jail if they were caught. My parents got me out the next morning though and nothing went down on record." Sakura says everything while playing with the bottom of her shirt, fearing they may really think she's a troublemaker now and decide they don't want to be friends with her.

"Seriously? That's all there is to the story? You were at a friends house and got a little loud? Then you only spent a few hours in the slammer?" Sakura notices Tenten is basically on the ground laughing as she talks and Sakura wonders what can be so funny.

"I don'-isn't that a bad thing?" As Sakura asks, Tenten really does fall on the ground and start to roll around laughing; almost looking as if she's about ready to cry. Temari and Ino are also trying to hold back their laughter and they are avoiding looking at her as well, and worse yet, even Shikarmaru and Sasuke seem to be smirking at her.

Finally, Temari seems to compose herself to answer Sakura, although having to cough a few times to keep her laughs down.

"It's just, well here, the only time someone gets in trouble at a party is if they, I don't know, really do something. Like if they break somebody's car or house in someway. Or sometimes the cops will get called if fights start and they get a little out of hand, but nobody ever really gets in trouble for being "loud" at parties around here. The cops got enough to worry about as it is, and parties that aren't really causing a lot of trouble don't really make it onto their radars." Temari sends Sakura a smirk as she finishes her explanation, and Sakura wonders what the "enough to worry about it as it is" stuff is, but she is interrupted by Ino before she can ask.

"So ,Sakura. You haven't really told us much about you actually. I mean where was this party that got a little too loud and the cops were called about it?"The question grabs everyone's attention and Sakura panics as she begins to realize she has to either admit the truth or she lie.

"I, well, I live in-" Sakura is unable to finish though as Sasuke stands up, moves over to her, bends down, and pulls her onto her feet.

"H-h-h-hey!"

"It's getting late."

"Huh?"

"It means it's time you, and us, should be leaving and going home." Sasuke blocks her view of the girls with his body, but she can hear them muttering "what does that matter" and "we stay late all the time."

Sasuke sighs before he begins to speak, closing his eyes for second, then reopening them and staring straight into Sakura's.

"She's visiting her aunt remember? She isn't from around here, and she probably shouldn't be out after dark since she doesn't know the area or have experience with the type of people around here."

Sasuke glances over his shoulder to look at Ino, Tenten, and Temari. Each of them look as if they want to refuse and argue with his statement, but they know they can't. He has a point about being in this town after dark, and someone not from around here is definitely easy prey for the people who lurk after dark. The story of the girl from last year rings through their heads, and each of them know it is time she leaves, and them as well.

"Fine, fine. We'll walk her to her ca-" Temari starts to say, but she is quickly cut off by Sasuke.

"I'll take her."

"Excuse me?"

"You guys have to catch a ride with Shikamaru, and considering the fact he's almost at his car, I think you guys should probably start running." Sasuke smirks as he throws the words to the girls over his shoulder. Each of their eyes going wide and then turning towards the parking lot where they can see Shikamaru only about twenty feet from his car.

Three synchronized "oh shits" are heard before there are three girls running towards the parking lot. A few "goodbyes" and waves are tossed as well as the girls run to catch their ride.

Sasuke smirks as he sees the girls running while yelling at Shikamaru to wait. He actually has to keep from laughing as he watches them, knowing that Shikamaru won't leave without them, at least Temari, and that Shikamaru only snuck away since Sasuke told him too.

Sakura watches her friends in amusement as they practically strain themselves to reach Shikamaru and his car in the parking lot. Only after the car leaves does she realize she's left with Sasuke, who is currently trying to speak to her.

"Sorry?" Sasuke sighs and gently puts a hand at the small of her back before answering.

"I said I'll walk you to your car." Sakura panics as he pushes her towards the parking lot. Her eyes focusing in on her expensive car, the only one in the parking lot. She knows he's sure to figure her out if he takes her to her car.

"Oh, no. I can get to my car by myself thank you." Sakura forces a smile that comes out cheesy and tries to get out of his grip, but it holds firm, and she finds herself being pulled back into his chest instead of being released.

When her back hits his front, Sasuke tucks his arms around her waist and brings his mouth right up to her ear.

"I already know which car is yours, Sa-ku-ra. After all, I am the reason you have amnesia and are forced to not be able to remember anything." Sakura's eyes widens as he talks into her ear, and then bites it after he finishes. She flinches instinctively, but her minds is more focused on what Sasuke had just said.

Her ears seem to ring as her mind tries to place his words and recollect something, anything about her past that she knows for one-hundred percent. Sadly though, her mind comes up empty for her real memories and where she might know Sasuke from.

Sasuke watches Sakura as she seems to become absorbed in her own world. He has no doubt she is trying to place him and remember something, but he knows she cannot. At least not yet. Oh, how he wishes to tell her everything, but he's afraid is he does, her brain will go into real amnesia.

Sasuke just sighs as he contemplates the past, present, and future. His arm dragging Sakura towards her car without her knowledge. Even as they do reach her car, she is still within her own little world, and Sasuke has to bite her ear again to bring her back.

"Hey! Stop doing that!" She holds her hand up to cover her ear, and swats at him with her friend one. He steps back enough for her to just miss, and he finds himself chuckling as he glares at her.

"You better get going, Sakura. You've got a long drive home, and you don't want to get caught in a car like that around here after it gets fully dark." He turns away after he speaks, and forces himself to not look over his shoulder at her or turn around and ask for a kiss.

Sakura watches as Sasuke turns and starts to walk away from her, her glare dropping along with her hand. It only last a second though before she hears footsteps and quickly unlocks her car and pops into it. Making sure to lock the doors and check to make sure no one is hiding in the back.

Feeling safer, Sakura quickly takes a deep breath before starting her car and making her way out of the parking lot. She has to really focus as she drives, her mind wanting to go back to what Sasuke had said, but she forces herself to concentrate on driving and not cause any accidents. After all, she had already almost caused two other accidents today, and is not planning to be an example of 'third times the charm.'

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it! I also enjoy reviews:), but feel free to just read and enjoy~
