I stood up and walked over to the box that was in the corner. This could be it. All the time of waiting could be over. I took a deep breath, and clapped my hands, and slammed them on the box.
"What did I expect?"
"What do you mean?" she enquired
"In another life I was Asmetris's top alchemist, but I lost my abilities, when trying to save my brother and my country."
"Wow"
I stayed silent
"Anyway, it was good chatting with you, but I really need to go."
"Go if you must, I will not hold you back"
Maybe it was the way I looked at her but she sat back down.
"Teach me how to use your technique"

"I did it! Did you see that?"
"Yes well done Alphonse, you are getting the hang of it."
