HalfafanD: Here's another chapter. Sorry if I'm not as pumped up. The six weeks just ended and I turned in all the homework I had to do and finished every test so I'm totally drained and feeling lethargic. Anyway, enjoy.

Disclaimer: I do not, and I repeat DO NOT own Danny Phantom.

Mysterious Magician

For Danny, Monday went by rather fast. Everyone seemed to be talking about the hypnotist' show. It was the second most popular topic to discuss in the town, right behind Danny Phantom that is. Valerie, Dash, Paulina, the A-List kids…even Mr. Lancer was planning on seeing the mentalist.

Danny might have been left out because he wasn't going, but he didn't care. He was always left out from the popular crowd so this wasn't new.

The only thing Danny had to worry about that day was the Box Ghost and that was wasn't even worth going ghost for. So he just simply ignored the blue skinned ghost.

He also seemed to notice that almost everyone in Amity was going to this so called event, even his parents. Even the school canceled tomorrow just to see the show, which was another reason why he wasn't going.

All in all, the day wrapped up with nothing else exciting happening from Danny getting up to go to school, to changing into his sleeping attire and going to sleep.

Morning shined through the window, greeting Danny to the new day. He slowly dragged himself out of bed and down the stairs, only to realize that the house was completely vacant of people aside from him.

Now a little more awake, Danny walked into the kitchen to spotting a small note sitting alone on the kitchen table. Picking it up, he began to read.

Morning Sweetie,

Your father, sister, and I had left early to make sure we got to see the show on time. You know how your father can be, after all. We hope you'll act responsively while we're gone.

~Love, Mom

Danny smiled as he set the note down. So he got the house to himself, and potentially kept his secret safe; talk about a win, win.

With that happy thought in his mind, Danny proceeded to get dressed and have some breakfast before preparing to kick off his free alone time with some mindless video games on the basement computer downstairs; at least that was the plan until an all too familiar blue mist escaped his mouth.

Danny released a loud groan right after. "Why can't I ever catch a break?" He then felt the blue rings transform him into Danny Phantom before flying literally through the roof and heading towards where the ghost was, City Hall. Man he sure hoped that was a coincidence.

Everyone in City Hall was ready for the show to begin. And if the last couple of days weren't enough evidence, the whole town was giddy with excitement. Even Jack had his soda hat and popcorn to entertain himself while unknowingly spitting it all over the Mansons. As for Sam and Tucker, they sat in the back; hoping to avoid being called on.

At last after minutes of waiting, the lights finally dimmed down and the audience fell silent as a spotlight lit up on the stage to reveal an announcer.

"Ladies and gentlemen," The man bellowed out. "I give you…the Magic Magician!"

Cheers and clapping echoed in the room as a tall man in a black tuxedo walked up to the stage in place of the announcer. He wore a top hat that covered his short brown hair that almost appeared to have been recently cut. His eyes were of a dark grey-blue that seemed to be studying the actions of the audience as they sparkled under the spot light.

The man took a gentle bow, which earned him more cheers.

"Thank you; you are all very kind." The man commented. "Most of my shows have been in vegas and such so this is my first time in a town. Let's hope I make a good impression." The audience lightly chuckled at that. "First, I need a volunteer!"

At this, many random hands in the audience shot up, but before the man could choose any of them, a black and white blur phased through the room and landed rather roughly on the stage.

The man gazed at the being, only now seeing it to be a teenager with snow white hair, green eyes, and a black and white hazmat suit. Wasn't this that teen ghost superhero he'd heard about when he did a background check on this town?

The teen stood back to his feet just as another figure phased in. This person was glowing like the teenager, however while his hair was white, it was styled in a mullet and his skin was pure green. He wore a lab scientists outfit with science glasses and everything.

The green man began to laugh manically. "You can't stop me, child! For I, Technus, master of all things electronic and beeping, have come to conquer this world!"

The teen seemed to groan in irritation and pulled out a…was that a thermos? "And here I thought you don't do monologuing anymore." He then pressed a button and the ghost, screaming and kicking the whole way, was sucked inside. "Wow, that was a lot easier than I thought."

Suddenly the hazmat couple sprung into action and aimed their ecto-guns on the white-haired teen. "Or not." The teen corrected himself.

As for the teen, Danny was pretty nervous at the point blank range his parents had trained on him. This is so not good.

HalfafanD: And voila! The end of that chapter. So please review, no flames, and I'll see you next chapter.
