Here's the second chapter, for ya. And wow, 6 reviews, 15 favs, and 22 follows in 1st chapter? I guess we all wondered what if Louise summoned a Keyblade wielder instead Saito as her familiar.
Above Destiny Islands –Gummi Ship
"Damn it! I'm not good at all with these things!" Riku cursed as he desperately tried to find the Auto-Pilot controls. Unlike Sora who could handle the Gummi Ship very well thanks to his experience from his past adventures, Riku didn't have the slightest idea on how to operate it since he usually used a Corridor of Darkness which he was barred from since he didn't belong to the darkness anymore. Last time he was in a Gummi ship was when both of them got called by Yen Sid to come to the Mysterious Tower. Truth be told, he had been quite surprised when he saw how his spiky haired buddy could handle such an inter-world spacecraft with his own eyes. He'd always assumed that since Sora travelled with Donald and Goofy, it had to be one of them who piloted the Gummi Ship.
After he let a long sigh to cool his head off, Riku lowered his head and placed his finger under his chin. 'Okay, I don't know how to operate this ship at all since I'm not Sora. But if I remember correctly, last time when we went together, he…' His head then shifted towards a table-like console which had a surface similar to a grid and some buttons on its sides. When Riku pressed a random button, whether he was lucky or just a coincidence, the grid began to glow and show the world map with holographic models of the worlds including Traverse Town, Twilight Town, Radiant Garden and many others where Sora had been there before with the only exception being the Destiny Islands.
A small smirk appeared on his face when he saw the hologram of Yen Sid's residence, the Mysterious Tower. As he touched the holographic model, the other worlds reverted back into the grid while the Mysterious Tower moved to the center of the console and its scale became bigger and then turned solid.
"DESTINATION SELECTED. NOW RETRIEVING THE COORDINATES…" announced the computer in a feminine tone which made the silver haired Keybearer's smirk become even bigger.
'It's a good idea to pilot this thing once in a while.'thought Riku as he leaned back in his seat. The Gummi Ship's AI then continued on.
"ACTIVATING THE NAVI-G MODULE…CHECK. GRAV-O-METRIC WARP DRIVE…CHECK. NOW ENTRING THE HYPERSPACE WARPDRIVE JUMP IN 60 SECONDS."
"What was that symbol anyway? Was that one of Xehanort's attempts to kidnap Sora again?" He wondered as he fastened his safety belt. In seconds, the Gummi ship's engines started to blow out blue colored flames before it disappeared at the speed of light to the sea of stars.
'I just hope that I won't be late. Just hang in there, Sora!'

Halkeginia - Tristain's Academy of Magic
*BOOOM!*
There was a huge explosion followed by a cloud of thick smoke on the ground after Louise finished her spell. Some unlucky students either got knocked down or coughed from her spell with some dust and ashes on their uniforms as they began complaining.
"(Cough) (cough) I knew this was going to happen."
"(Cough) my dear Montmorency. Are you alright?" asked the blond haired student accompanied by his giant mole familiar with concern as he crouched near the blonde haired girl with her frog familiar in her left hand. But she however was frozen in shock at the explosion that she ignored his question which earned her a confused look from the male student.
"What's wrong?" He asked again.
The girl named Montmorency just raised her other hand and pointed at the spot where Louise caused the explosion earlier, motioning the male student to look at the scene.
As the smoke faded away, before Louise was none other than the spiky Keyblade wielder Sora lying down there with eyes closed. When he slowly opened his eyes, the first thing that he saw was a figure of a girl with a long pink hair who looked utterly dumbfounded at his presence. The Keybearer then looked around to check his surroundings and saw many people dressed in the same fashion as hers who were staring at him due of his unusual appearance with the only exception being an elderly man in dark purple garb. He also could identify that there were animals and some strange creatures that he hadn't seen before such as the red giant lizard with fire on the end of its tail, a floating eyeball creature, and many more.
"Where…am I?" was the first question that came out from Sora as he stood up. Surely he wasn't at the Destiny Islands anymore or in any world that he had ever been to before.
Louise on the other hand still couldn't believe what she had just summoned. She was supposed to get a sacred, beautiful, and strong familiar that even surpassed her rival's salamander. Heck, she even had bragged that she would summon a strong and beautiful familiar that would even make Kirche jealous the day before.
But instead, all she got was a human in strange clothes, not something like a dragon, manticore, or maybe a griffin.
"T-this is my…sacred…beautiful…and…strong…tfamiliar?" muttered Louise, still sporting a look of utter disbelief on her face.
With heavy heart, the pinkette then approached her familiar who seemed still confused about his situation. As she got his attention, she asked, "Who are you?"
"Me? I'm Sora." answered the spiky Keybearer casually. He then asked the girl in front of him back. "Who are you? And where am I?"
But before Louise could answer, both of them heard a chuckle coming from a certain red haired girl.
"This makes all you said worth it!" mocked Kirche as she approached the two, "I never would have guessed you'd summon a human."
"Summon?"'Hey, wait a second!'At the mentioning of the word 'summon', Sora's eyes widened and he gasped once he remembered what had happened before he disappeared from the Destiny Islands. Back then there had been a girl's voice chanting something about a familiar and the voice was similar to hers. He then looked at Louise to ask if she was the one who did it but the pinkette was still busy dealing with her rival.
"It was just a little screwup!" countered Louise.
"That's the Louise the Zero we know. You never fail to meet our expectations!"
Now it was the boy with an owl familiar's turn to talk before the entire crowd started laughing at the two, much to Louise's annoyance and Sora's confusion since the latter didn't know what they were laughing about.
"Uh, hey what are they laughing about?" The spiky boy asked the pinkette again, but Louise just ignored him as she turned to the elder man in robes. "Hey, don't ignore me!"
"Mr. Colbert, please let me summon again." The girl requested, but the professor whose name was Colbert shook his head in disapproval.
"I can't let you do that, Ms. Valliere." replied him which shocked Louise again.
"Huh? H-how come?"
"This is a sacred ceremony that determines a mage's life." The teacher explained, "Redoing it would be a desecration of the ceremony itself. Regardless of whether you like or not, he has been decided as your familiar spirit."
"But I never heard of taking a human as a familiar spirit!" Louise shot back. She then heard everyone start to laugh at her again which only worsened her situation.
"Human or not, there will be no exceptions." The teacher stated firmly and then gave Louise a stern look for prolonging the ritual. "Now continue with the ceremony!"
"Hey! Can someone please tell me what's going on here?!" shouted out a voice nearby which had caught both Louise and Colbert's attention. The two then turned to see Sora with a very annoyed expression clearly written on his face as he crossed his arms. "Just what do you guys mean that I'm a familiar?"
For Sora, everything was happening too fast. One moment he was enjoying his naptime and then the next he had been brought to a world he had never seen before, and now those two were arguing about his position as a familiar, a term that he didn't even have any idea of what it was.
Louise was about to reprimand Sora for using such a rude tone to nobles like them but Colbert shushed her. The professor realized that the man before him was lost and he needed to be filled in about his status as the familiar that Louise had summoned as he cleared his throat.
"(Ahem) first of all, I'm sorry for the intrusion Mr. ummm…."
"Sora." The Keybearer replied, already back to his friendly nature again as he grinned at Colbert, "No need to use Mr. though. Just Sora is fine."
"Likewise here. My name is Jean Colbert, but you can just call me Colbert, Sora." Colbert introduced himself and then began to explain. "Alright then, Sora. You see, Miss Valliere here has summoned you as her familiar."
"Summoned me?" Sora raised one of his eyebrows in confusion as he looked at Louise who was still glaring at him for some reason and then looked at Colbert again, "What do you mean?"
"As you can see, currently the Tristanian Academy of Magic is conducting a familiar summoning ritual as a test for these 2nd year students." The professor explained again and Sora seemed to understand the concept that he was in some kind of a school of wizards in the middle of a certain ceremony as he nodded. Colbert motioned the spiky Keybearer to take a look around and Sora took a note that every one of the students at least had one animal ranging from many sizes and varieties. Colbert then continued on, "A familiar is an animal or a creature that the mage summon which serves as their servant for the rest of their life through the summoning contract which Miss Valliere hasn't finished with you yet."
"Wait a second!" Sora was taken aback after he heard the last part of Colbert's explanation and then pointed his finger at Louise, "You mean if she completed this contract with me, then I would become her servant forever?!"
"Please don't take this the wrong way, Sora." Colbert tried to reassure the boy in front of him. From his reaction, the teacher could tell that he wouldn't agree with the idea of becoming a long-life servant of Louise. It was understandable though since no one would ever want to trade their freedom to serve a random person. But he also couldn't allow her to redo the summoning again, so he had to convince him with a win-win solution, "It's more like a partnership between two people, each taking care of each other."
"Oh, I see then. You could have explained it like that from the beginning, Colbert." replied Sora, feeling a bit more relaxed now. Some students, including Louise gasped at his boldness, especially at how he had called their professor by his name so casually like he was an equal. While it was true that Colbert had said that he could call him by just his name, at least he could behave in front of a noble like him. Some of them began to mutter about how rude and unmannered Louise's familiar was. Colbert however was unaffected by his boldness and instead he chuckled a bit.
But then, the spiky Keybearer remembered that he had to become the partner of the pink haired girl near him for the rest of his life. How could he agree to do that? If he really became her partner, wouldn't that be meddling in another world's affairs since he wasn't a part of it? That was one of the rules of the world order that had to be obeyed by the Keyblade Wielders.
"Normally summoning a human as a familiar is never heard of." Colbert's words made Sora snap out of his thoughts and put his worries aside as he focused back on the teacher again. "But this familiar summoning ritual is sacred. Thus, I can't allow Miss Valliere to summon another one since it would disgrace the ritual."
"Well, I don't mind to be her partner at all." He replied casually, placing his hands behind his head. "Besides, it's great to see new people and new places that I've never been before like this."
Upon hearing his answer, Colbert smiled. "Very well then." He then turned to Louise again who still had the sour look on her face at the turnout, "Now Miss Valliere, please continue the ritual."
"…yes, sir." Louise reluctantly said before approaching her new familiar. Realizing that the pink haired girl was shorter than him, the Keybearer took the initiative to crouch down a bit until his head was on the same level as her.
"You should be grateful. Normally a commoner wouldn't ever have a chance like this." She said in an authoritative tone before placing her wand on his head. "Pentagon of the five elemental powers…"
"Grant your blessings upon this creature…"
"And bind it as my familiar."
Sora's eyes widened in shock when Louise started to hold his head and then leaned forward closer to kiss him right on his lips that even Kairi hadn't kissed yet. By reflex Sora immediately ducked in panic seconds before her lips could touch his, causing her to kiss his forehead instead.
After the mage completed the summon contract and then released his hands, Sora quickly shoved her away and glared at her. "Hey! Do you have any idea what you almost did!? You were about to steal my…hhuh?" He stopped speaking when he saw his left hand glowing beneath the glove. Curious, Sora removed his left glove and saw a strange rune appear on his hand. The Keybearer suddenly felt a burning sensation within his body as the runes continued being engraved. Thanks to his tons of experience getting hit by Axel's fire magic, Red Nocturne and Crimson Jazz's fires, and not to mention Hades' fire, he felt less pain from the process, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt him at all as he had to grit his teeth.
When the pain finally wore off, the Keybearer took a deep breath and then looked at the strange runes engraved on his left hand in curiosity. "What are these?"
"Those are runes." Louise explained, followed by Colbert examining his engraved hand.
"And very unique one, I must say." The professor said as he opened a blank page from his book and a quill pen, "Do you mind if I take a sketch of this? I've never seen these kinds of runes before."
"Sure, go ahead." answered Sora with a nod.
After the professor had finished drawing, he turned to the other students. "This ends the familiar summoning ritual. You may all return to your dormitories, dismissed."
…
School dormitory –Louise's Room
Louise was in a bad mood. A very bad mood if one could say. Ever since the ritual had ended, she hadn't spoken one word to Sora except telling him to follow her. The spiky Keybearer on the other hand was confused, she had completed the ritual and now they were partners at least until Sora could think a way of how not to make this last forever, so what was she so mad about? Was it because he shoved her away earlier?
"This is the worst day ever…" Louise grunted, dropping onto her chair next to a small round table with a small lamp on it, "I was supposed to summon a magnificent familiar! But instead, I got a commoner in strange clothes!"
A tick mark appeared on Sora's head comically when he heard that. He admitted that his outfit was quite unusual even for some people back in the Destiny Islands, but what was wrong with that? And why did she call him a commoner as if she was some kind of stuck-up princess?
"Look, I don't know what or why you're so upset about, but first of all I have a name you know! It's Sora!" Sora said with a frown before crossing his hands. "I thought I already told you that, Louise!"
"You won't address your master in such a rude manner like what you did to Mr. Colbert, familiar!" Louise all but shouted, making Sora have to cover his ears from her outburst.
When Sora had recovered from her yell, he was about to argue back only to see Louise change out of her uniform into a nightgown. As a man with morals, the first thing that he did when he saw a girl changing in front of him was of course cover both his eyes while looking away.
"H-Hey! What are you doing!? That's inappropriate, you know!"
"Can't you tell? I'm going to sleep, so I'm taking my clothes off." she replied, unfazed by Sora's reaction.
"But why are you changing in front of me?! That's embarrassing, don't you know that?!"
"So? You're just a familiar, my servant. You're no different than a dog, so why should I feel embarrassed?" replied Louise offhandedly before she threw the rest of her clothes to Sora which he caught easily. "Wash them and don't forget to wake me at dawn, or else no breakfast for you."
Sora couldn't take it anymore. He had been trying to be patient with her attitude in hopes of befriending her, but this time Louise had finally gone too far. If he remembered what Colbert had said before, this relationship was supposed to be a partnership between them, but she had just said that Sora was nothing more than a dog to her and now she expected him to do chores. Who the hell did she think she was? His superior or something? Ignoring her order, Sora just threw the clothes aside and walked towards the door.
"H-hey! Where are you going?! You dare to disobey your master!?" called out Louise who was utterly shocked with her familiar's actions as she pointed her finger threateningly at Sora. "That's it! No food for you for the whole day tomorrow, you dog!"
Sora, unfazed with her warning turned around and shot her a serious glare he usually gave to an enemy, making Louise cower a bit in fear.
"Do it yourself! Who do you think you are?! Ordering me around like I'm your servant?! I thought this familiar bond was supposed to be a partnership but you act all high and mighty!" He snarled. Not caring about the girl in the bed anymore, Sora got out of her dorm and then slammed the door really hard to vent off his frustration, leaving his so-called master. When Louise had finally recovered from her shock, she was truly furious. Not only had she summoned a strange plebeian, but also a disobedient one as her familiar. Her face was fuming from anger and she was ready to punish him with her explosions spell, but she was already too tired with what had happened today that she could even let off her steam properly.
Getting up from her bed, Louise went to the drawer and took out what appeared to be some kind of a riding crop for horse racing or in this case a whip. A devilish smirk appeared on her face as she had formulated a plan in her mind about what to do to punish and discipline her familiar tomorrow before the pink haired mage went back to sleep.
…
Outside the school
"Gee, that girl is really getting on my nerves!" Sora grumbled while lying on the grass. "She's even short tempered just like Donald! Ordering me to wash her clothes? Just who does she think she is!?"
To calm himself, Sora took a deep breath and then looked up at the night sky filled with stars. Although he was in a different world, this one also shared the same sky as the others. A sky where the other worlds could be seen as glimmers of light like stars from where he was, well... save for two different colored moons. Trying to remember what happened today, Sora sighed as he began to feel guilty for what he did earlier to Louise.
"I guess…uI was too harsh on her. Come to think of it, it looks like she was the only one who was laughed at and made fun of by the other students."
If he pieced everything together, it looked like Louise was expecting some kind of animal just like the other students and not a human as her familiar since Colbert had told him that summoning a human had never happened before. No wonder she had been grumpy and upset around him. But then his face turned sour when he replayed what Louise had said before.
"You're just a familiar, my servant. You're no different than a dog."
"Haaa... gimme a break…" He muttered and then stretched his arms and yawned, feeling his eyes grow heavier. Before going to sleep, the Keybearer looked up at the stars one last time.
'I wonder if anyone knows I'm here...' thought Sora before finally drifting away in his sleep, alone on the outside of the academy's dormitory.

Louise's Dream
(Destati - Kingdom Hearts)
At that night, Louise was having a nightmare. The strangest she had ever experienced. Her body was twitching uncomfortably in her bed. In her dream, Louise was standing in the middle of a giant circle with its floor made of stained glass. She wandered around to see her surroundings only to find nothing except the endless abyss of darkness at the end of the circle which sent chills down her spine at the sight of the bottomless pit.
'What...? Where am I? What is this place?' She thought as she backed away from the edge of the circle.
There was a flash of light from the center of the circle which caused Louise to shield her eyes. When the light had faded, Louise saw a boy who appeared to be younger than her since he was shorter than the pink haired girl. His appearance resembled her familiar a lot, except his hair was darker, he had a more childish look, and his outfit was just a simple baggy red jumpsuit with a zipper under his black and white hoodie jacket with two white gloves and a pair of big yellow shoes.
'That boy…Tis that my familiar?' thought Louise. She then approached the younger version of Sora and tried to call out to him.
"Hello?"
No response…
"Hey, I'm talking to you!"
Again, there was no response…
Upset that she had been ignored, Louise reached out her hand to grab his shoulder. But instead of touching him, her hand just passed through his body as if she wasn't touching anything which made Louise stumble and then back away in shock. When she looked at her hands, Louise realized that not only her hands but her entire body was completely transparent. 'So that's why he doesn't notice me at all! I'm not really here!'As she followed the younger Sora from behind, a mysterious voice suddenly echoed throughout the place.
"So much to do, so little time..."
.
"Take your time."
.
"Don't be afraid."
.
"The door is still shut."
"W-what? Who's voice is that?"hLouise trembled with fear at the voice as she reached inside her cloak to find her wand in case something dangerous happened. But after seeing how young Sora didn't even seem scared at all, she decided to keep following him. After a few more steps, three altars suddenly appeared around them.
'What are these things?' She wondered as she walked up and examined one of the altars.
"Power sleeps within you."
The voice spoke again as a sword appeared floating on the altar.
"If you give it form…"
A shield appeared on the second altar.
"It will give you strength."
And then a staff appeared on the last one.
After the mysterious voice was gone, Louise looked again at young Sora who approached the middle altar and picked the sword in the middle and examined it closely. The mysterious voice then spoke again.
"The power of the warrior."
.
"Invincible courage."
.
"A sword of terrible destruction."
.
"Is this the power you seek?"
"Yes." answered the young Sora with a nod. The sword in his hand then disappeared in flash of light.
But soon after he had made his decision, the remaining two weapons also disappeared and the altars began to crumble down. Both Sora and Louise were shocked to see what happened next; the center of the circle suddenly turned black and the shadow began to spread over the ground, forming a pool of darkness.
"W-What is that?"
As the shadow finally reached their feet, both of them felt their legs being pulled down. Sora and Louise struggled to break free, but every single movement only made the darkness pull them deeper until only half of their upper bodies remained.
"H-help! Someone please help!" Louise desperately cried out for help, but there was no one there except her and Sora. She couldn't even feel her legs and left arm anymore as the darkness began to cover half of her face.
"M-mother…Chi-nee-sama…please…help…e" uttered Louise for the last time before her vision turned dark as the darkness completely swallowed both of them. (End of Destati).

School dormitory –Louise's Room
"AAAHHHH!" Louise screamed and suddenly jolted up from her bed, finally awake from her nightmare. Looking around her surroundings which was now her room at the dormitory while breathing heavily, Louise muttered.
"(Pant) J-just a dream...? (Pant) But why did it feel so…real? And why was my familiar there too?"
Note: The Grav-O-Metric Warp drive isn't canon in Kingdom Hearts universe. The device is from Ratchet and Clank universe where Ratchet made one from the scraps and installed it on his ship to travel to another galaxy. Check out Ratchet and Clank wiki for more information.
That's all for the 2nd chapter. Sorry if Sora was kinda OOC due of his anger towards Louise.
