Chapter 2: In the Cellar

Hey guys here's the new chapter R&R

Shadow rose from the bathtub and quickly wrapped a towel around himself "Probably one of the boxes, one of those dumbasses most likely stacked them wired." He started walking out "I'll go make sure nothings broken." With a sigh he left.

Amy groaned another night of abstinence. It had been about a year since they had last had sex. Amy waited a good 5 minutes before she got out, to go check on Shadow. Walking into the old hall she realized how creepy the house was at night. It was like people you don't know were looking at you without a word just standing there staring,

"Shadow? Where are you?" her small voice echoed through the barren house, but no answer came. Fear set in "Shadow this isn't funny. Where are you?" she felt weird like something was just behind her. She stopped and slowly looked back.

"Amy what are you doing?"

Amy almost shit herself right then and there. Shadow was standing at the stairs with a confused look.

"I was looking for you. What fell anyway?" she sounded a little embarrassed.

"I'd like to know myself."

"What?"

"I've looked all over I can't find what fell. I'll look in the morning but as for now we should get to sleep you have a lot of painting to do."

And with that the disappointment felled the air. Shadow walked up the stairs and stopped at Amy, he lead in to kiss her cheek but Amy pulled away and walked into the master bed room. Shadow sighed and looked behind him to take one more look and followed.

Crying was all Amy could hear, she looked around she was in her house but it wasn't her house, the paint was replaced by old wall paper with floral designs. Walking slowly to her master bed room; the crying seemed to be coming from there. It was a woman. Suddenly a small yet horrifying voice called to the crying girl.

"I told you! I told you I would do it! But you wouldn't lesion!"

"Please… I never meant to disobey you… I just wanted-" the girl answered but was cut off by the little voice.

"Love! That man wouldn't have loved you! He would have used you!"

"No he wasn't like that!"

"I'm the only one who can truly love you!"

"Then why? WHY?! Did you take the man I love?!"

The room when quite. By now Amy was at the door she peaked in only to see a young woman it 18 century clothing, her long white quills were up in a bun and her face was red and puffy. The little evil voice started to laugh in a cruel, heartless manner.

"Because my dear, sweet Amelia; it was fun! I've wanted to kill him since the fucking day he walked in this house! Your mine! Body, Mind and Soul and there's nothing you can do about it!" the girls eyes widen at the unknown beings answer the door slammed shut. Amy was sent back as the screams ripped passed the door.

Amy backed up shaking but was met with a wall blocking the path she had taken only minutes before. The screams of the dying girl stopped and a thud was heard. The sound of movement and shifting come to the door made Amy's heart beat faster.

"Amy… where are you?" the voice was the same but this time it was taunting her fear almost like it was playing with her head. Her heart about stopped when the door open and slowly started to inch its way open. One deep red glowing eye peaked out of the door way. Its clawed hand warped around the door each claw was like a knife.

"Amy… here you are… come play with me~…" a smile full of malice and bed intensions followed the words.

Amy sat up in bed shaking like a leaf in the autumn breeze. She looked around the room it was still dark and next to her was a sleeping Shadow the Hedgehog. She sighed whipping the cold sweat of her forehead as a deep voice called to her.

"Another nightmare?" looking down at where the voice came from she was met with her boyfriend's familiar red eyes.

"Yeah…" she answered still shaken by the whole thing, "It wasn't like the other ones… it wasn't Sonic."

"Who was it?"

"I don't know…" she was crying a little as the warm arm warped around her pulling her down and into his chest.

"I'm sorry Rose… I wish I had gotten to you sooner…"

"It's okay; I don't blame you for what happened that day."

The two of them laid there like that… for what seemed like forever till Amy was finally able to sleep. The morning brought the sound of birds and the humming of the wind. Amy stood in the kitchen painting quietly taking the occasional sip of her beer. Scourge had bought them same as a house warming gift. Amy liked a good beer every once in a while but Shadow on the other hand didn't care for the stuff. She was about to finish when,

"Hey Amy! Could you help me with something?" Shadows voice called from the seller. She sighed and stopped what she was doing and walked down to the dark, dank, and dingy basement. The place was dark other than the light electric lantern being held by her handsome boyfriend that was covered in dust and filth.

"Sorry Rose but I need you to hold the lantern while I do some pluming work." The male explains. She walked over and grabbed the lantern,

"Lead the way good sir." She answers jokingly. The male chuckles and walks her to a mess of old pips. He sets on the ground,

"Hold the lantern up please." He states and Amy follows. They stood there for a minute as the male tinkered away on the pipes. Amy sighed as her arm started to get tired, the lap was a little heavy.

"Sorry. I'm done thank you." The man said kindly taking the lap back.

"It's okay… your welcome." She turned to walk away but almost fell to the floor thankfully Shadow was there.

"Whoa there…" he pulled her back and looked at the floor "Whoa… this place must have a wine cellar or something." The girl followed the male's eyes. There in the floor was o the outline of some trap door.

"Wow… lets open it!" Amy bounced a little.

"I'm not sure there could be something dangerous down there, how knows when was the last time it was opened." Shadow gave a weary look.

Amy whined, "Come on Shadow! Where's your sense of adventure?" she hugged him and gave him her best puppy-dog eyes.

"While… if you let me go first… Fine. Go get the crowbar from upstairs." He answered the girl squealed in happiness.

The time it took her to come back with her crowbar would have out Sonic to shame. The large male pulled at the side of the door popping the lock. The door in the floor opened with a heavy thud. Shadow slid down the stairs in a second. Leaving Amy with the lantern. She looked into the blackness; waiting.

"Shadow do you see anything?"

"Yeah! Some old stuff and…" his voice drifted.

"Shadow? And what?" she leaned in confused and a little worried. "Shadow?" the male popped up scaring the life out of the girl.

"Fuck Shadow… you gave me a fucking heart-attack!"

"Sorry… come check this out." He lead her down the few steps and to a large room filled with old future, trunks, paintings, everything you would see in a house.

"Wow… this is amazing." The girl looked around as Shadow hooked the lap to a nail on the roof tugging on it to see if would hold. Amy's attention was brought to a manikin covered in a black cloth. Pulling it off she found a beautiful 18 century wedding dress. "Oh my look… its almost in perfect condition." She squealed. The male behind her chuckled. She moved away and to a large trunk it was open thank god… flipping through the stuff. She found pictures, letters, clothes and a doll… she looked at the doll… it looked like Tails to a key. She looked at a photo to see the girl from her dreams holding the Tails-like doll when. A load crash got her attention then the light went out.

"Fuck!"
