It's summer! Yay! So I rewrote it a bit, the end I got lazy and just copy and paste it changing a few things here and there. I'll hurry and finish rewriting then I'll start on writing the new chapter.
Last Chapter
He said answering their silent question of how he was able to do that. "Lambo, let me see that. Hm. How about I go and get it fix for you, if I remember correctly there's a framer shop around here."
The black curly head boy was already bouncing more in the arms of the boss asking him if he was able to fix 'mother'. A reply of "Of course I can. How about we go get her fix?" and another nod was all it took before Tsuna was standing in front of the door.
"I'll go with you. I need to have a talk with you anyway." Reborn said before watching the worried Guardians. "Alone. Unless you don't trust my abilities then go ahead and try to tail us because I will not miss a target."
A peaceful walk was what it was, in Tsuna's arms was the child Lambo and on his head was Reborn. Once at the frame shop, Tsuna allowed the little boy to wander around the store to pick his new frame out while following him closely after. It took him a long time before choosing but Tsuna didn't mind and Reborn was just silent the whole time. After, they slowly walked to the riverside, along the way, Lambo had fell asleep please with his new frame with his mother's picture. Seeing that no one is passing by, they sat down Tsuna resting the sleeping child in his arms comfortably making sure not to wake him up.
"It been awhile since I been here, Japan even." He said awed by the river that he never care to look at whenever he passed it as a student. "A few years maybe."
"Tsuna," talking for the first time since they have left the house, hopped down to sit next to his student. "What's wrong?"
"What do you mean?"
"Do you think I wouldn't notice you acting weird? Your Guardians might be unaware of it but don't underestimate me. Tell me what is wrong." Leaving no pause to argue at all, it was just like Reborn.
He looked at the other a bit surprised but somewhat expected it, Reborn had always know what he's thinking even if others couldn't. "Well, it concerned the first rule of a boss, 'Never show weakness in front of enemies'. No matter how much I cried by myself in my room, it was hard still. I'm sorry, I was just taken by surprise when I saw you here. In the future, you're….severely injured, and, it's because of me."
"Hm."
"It was my fault that the incident even happened, because I was acting selfish and you were caught in my failure." Reborn didn't notice the bandage hidden very well under the sleeve until now. Tsuna shook and bit his lip to not let the tears drop.
"I'm happy that I did that. I protected you and here you are crying for me. That's saying a lots, that you're still haven't gotten to the point of being used to blood or death. That's something I never wished of my students, yes, you will kill but never will I want you to see death as a normal thing when you are doing it." He said squeezing his hands into a fist.
"You said something that to me before, before I became the Decimo. You tell me that you didn't wanted me to take the throne if I didn't need to because I was never suppose to be involved in the first place. You taught me the importance of a life, I can't avoid killing all the time because it's a sacrifice for the famiglia. But it hurts." Tsuna mumbled softly playing with the hair of the sleeping child who stir once before relaxing to the touch.
"It does. Even as myself, I have have to admit that, rarely, I would flinch back because of the horrible but what can I do. You're not suppose to be weak but you can't let yourself lose to the darkness."
Tsuna chuckle after a bit, "That's true. The hardest but the firmest rule as a boss is to never lose yourself or let anyone see your weakness. Thank you, Reborn. Thanks for everything."
"Hm. Let's go home, Damn-Tsuna." Making his way back up to the other's head not letting him see the proud happy smile on his face.
"Of course, Reborn." getting up to head back home, feeling much better now that he could talk to Reborn normally without having to wince each time Reborn moves any muscle.
When they got him, Tsuna was quickly swallow by his friends who look like they want to demand answers out of him but was forcing themselves not to. "I'm fine." he ensure them with a smile that made them relax.
"Ara, who is this, Reborn-kun?" Nana came out from the living room looking at the guest with some interest and curiosity.
After the long pause of no one answer, Tsuna smile gently at his younger mother, "I'm Tsuna-kun's distance relative on his father's side. My name is Sawada Natsu, it's a pleasure."
It been 7 years since he told his mother everything, from the mafia, to Reborn, to Vongola after the argument and fight that he won with his dad.
Tsuna sat there glaring at his father who was being so annoyingly stubborn of refusing to tell his mother about everything. No, Tsuna corrected himself, he was scared to tell his wife the reasons why he's never home. Because he had chosen his work over his family and that he failed to not let them get involve with it.
"I'm tell her." Tsuna firmly said again for the nth time during this argument. "I'm not leaving mom in the dark just because you are scared to tell her. She deserves every right to know what her husband and son are doing or about to do. And if you don't agree, then too bad, cause you have no right in any way to tell me what to say to my own mom. You lost the right as a father since Reborn stepped into my life as my teacher and father-figure."
"Tsuna." Iemitsu said sadden by what his son and future boss was saying. "Still, I don't think that Nana should know about this. We should keep her safe-"
"And never make any visit to prevent letting other famiglias know about her existence so she would be in no danger whatsoever?" a scowl and small growl directed at the blond appeared. "Like hell would I do that! I am not going to lie to my own mom and never care about her wellbeing just because you didn't take responsibility to make her happen! She deserves much better than that!"
"That's not what I'm saying!" the CEDEF boss exclaim denying every point that Tsuna just made.
"Then what are you doing? Why can I count exactly how many days you are in my life?" a hand tap Tsuna's shoulder, turning to his tutor feeling more calm. "I don't give a shit what you think or have planned for her, but I am going to tell her everything."
"N-" before he would even what he wanted to say, a bullet shot past him engraving into the sofa the male is sitting on.
"I think that Tsuna is right about Maman deserving to know everything that her family is getting involved in. In fact, I think she might already know about it, probably waiting for one of you to say something." Reborn commented sitting on the same couch as his student.
Iemitsu puff his chest about to protest again but stop with the glares and guns pointing his way. Sitting down still thinking that it's not a good idea. Tsuna went to get his mom to come to their living room for a talk, Nana came in with Tsuna behind her.
"What is it, dear?" she asked, the atmosphere was thick and she could feel it. After sitting down she turn to Tsuna with curious looks wondering what he wanted to talk about.
"Kaa-san, I wanted to tell you about everything going on, I'm going to Italy after graduation, you know that right?" after the nod he continue, "I'm going there to inherit something from Dad's boss, Timoteo, because the other candidates are no longer able to. I'm the only left who can become the heir after being related to Giotto Vongola or Sawada Ieyasu who is my great great great grandfather."
Nana too a minute to take all of that in, "That sounds great! Good luck, Tsu-kun!" clapping her hands together happy for her son.
Tsuna pause for a bit looking uncertain that he is about to do this, Reborn who was next to him tap his back being back his courage and determination. "I'm going to become the Vongola's Famiglia Decimo, it's the largest and strongest mafia family in the whole world. Each summer I been going to Italy to train to become the boss for it."
Silence took over the room once again as Iemitsu tense looking down unable to face his wife scare of what emotions is running through her face. He pray to himself hopping that Tsuna wouldn't mention him but it wasn't granted. "Iemitsu is the boss of the CEDEF which is the secret intelligence organization independent from the Vongola but also part of it." Reborn said making the Young Lion jumped in his seat. When he hesitantly look up at his wife, she seem to look at them with calm and relief (?).
"Y-you're not surprise, Nana?" he dare to asked.
"No, I did know about it this how time, I'm not that dense and stupid, Iemitsu." a cold shiver ran through his body. "I known how Reborn-kun came to teach Tsu-kun to become a boss 5 years ago. I also known that you're not a construction worker, seriously, if you wanted to trick me then you shouldn't be sending pictures of penguin at the North Pole where there's no oil."
"I-I didn't think of you that way." he was panicking and really surprise that she wasn't as dense and slow as he thought she was, exactly how she said it.
Nana looked really hurt, "I was waiting for you to tell me the truth, dear, but seem to me that you only thought of me as a fool that you can just lie and trick."
"I-It's not like that."
"Then how is it? How long do I have to wait till you would at least think about telling me? Or did you really think that I was stupid, dense, and slow that I couldn't understand why my husband didn't come home for years? Why there's guns around the house? Or how your boss came to see us when Tsuna when he was young?"
"T-that's..." looking down ashamed of himself. He was just the worst husband to think that about his own wife!
Turning to Tsuna and Reborn smiling, "Thank you for being honest with me and telling me this, Tsu-kun. You have my full support in this. Do what you think is right and I'm sure that Reborn-kun will help you into the right route."
"Thank you Kaa-san."
Making a mental note to himself to talk to his mom after this when there's only two of them. It wouldn't be nice if others were to know the acting talent of his mother and risk having them act different which could possibly affect the the future. "So I'm here because I been transfered to teach at Namimori High school and was wondering if you mind letting me stay here for a year."
A smile and the indicated before exclaiming that he's more than welcome to stay. Nana look around for a bit searching for her son that had disappear after the explosion of smoke. "Ara, where's Tsu-kun? I wanted you two relative to get to know each other better."
Reborn finally made up something to save them all and said, "Tsuna left to go to Italy to attend Vongola Academy since he was picked to go study abroad for a year. He must have forgotten to tell you about it, I'll make sure he'll get punished for it later, Maman."
The female sighed softly at her son to take another look at Natsu [calling Future Tsuna this from now on]. "You look almost identical to my son, Sawada Tsunayoshi, Natsu-kun!"
Mirroring her with his own bright smile, "Of course, we have the same great-great-great grandfather afterall.
His mom chuckle a bit accepting the fact without any more questions. "Well, since Tsu-kun isn't here, go ahead and use his room, dear."
"Thank you very much." bowing deeply for her. "It's very kind of you to do this, Nana-san."
"Oh please, just call me Maman or Kaa-san." waving him off continue to chuckle at his politeness.
"Alright then, Kaa-san." smiling again happy to see his mother again after so long as he always been burry under work, famiglia issues, and [those damn] paperwork. He does try to visit her whenever he can but after shipping his father back, he relax knowing that his mom has someone to accompany her.
"Welcome to the Sawada's household, Natsu-kun. Think of this place as your own house and don't be shy." It is his house afterall.
"Thanks again, Kaa-san and I'm home."
"It's good to have you back." Smiling at each other knowing what the other is thinking clearly after being together for Tsuna's whole life.
"Lambo-san wanna go play outside!" the small child lying down yelled out when they're all in the living room just watching TV in peace.
"Hm? Should we go to the park then?" Natsu thought out loud already knowing the answer to it.
"Yes!"
"Lambo don't bother Natsu-kun." Nana said from the kitchen making some treats and snacks.
"It's fine, Kaa-san, why don't Lambo, Ipin, and Fuuta go with me to the park then?" Natsu said getting up to stretch a bit after sitting for so long. "I need some exercise too."
"Yes!" the three made a run for the front door as fast as they can.
"Haha thank you, Natsu-kun, please take care of them for me." Nana said.
"Hai Kaa-san, I'll be back. Kids, don't run!" walking to them slip his shoes on opening the door letting the wild kids run out laughing among themselves. After a while of walking the young man started to feel stares pointed at him and whispering throwing around.
'Hm...why they're staring at me? Is there something on my back? Maybe my face. Did Lambo put some weird stuff on my back again?' thinking as he walk along. "Fuuta is there something on my face or back?"
Fuuta stop to look around his older brother. "No?"
"Then is there something weird with me? People seem to be staring at me."
"Uh...Nat-ni...you're wearing a suit on a warm day like this why wouldn't they not stare?"
'Ah...that's why...' "Haha you're right." While learning to become a mafia boss, Tsuna was forced into the habit of wearing suits and getting comfortable in them. Sometimes without realizing it he'll walk in the streets wearing fancy expensive suits while thinking nothing about it till one of his Guardians or someone close tell him. 'Reminder to self go buy some casual clothes later.'
Finally getting to to the park, Natsu sat on a swing not far from where the kids are playing watching them. He always love watching them as they grow but it's so hard to imagine how fast they're growing or was he just growing too slow? Thinking hard about it and didn't notice his Guardians walking up on him.
"JYUDAIME!" or run up to him in this case.
Falling from the swing butt first to the ground and let a sigh out at them. "Jyudaime are you ok?!"
Taking the extended hand of his Storm Guardian who pull him up. "Yep, I'm ok."
"What are you doing here Tsuna?" Takeshi asked.
"First off call me Natsu, don't want people getting suspicious." pointing to the kids behind him. "Lambo wanted to go to play outside so I brought them all here."
"SAWADA! HOW IS THE FUTURE TO THE EXTREME?!" a certain boxer said...yell?
"YOU IDIOT JYUDAIME CAN'T TELL YOU SUCH THING! IT COULD CHANGE THE FUTURE!"
"Haha it's fine as long as I don't tell you all the important details it'll be fine. Ryohei is...uh...let's see...doing well you're teaching boxing and learning about medical. Takeshi...we go watch baseball games every month. Hayato, well you're my best right hand man I could ever ask for. Chrome had...well some very important things going on in your life. Mukuro is still going crazy over some stuffs but got tame by our little female Guardian. Kyoya help the CEDEF a lot and build his own little group with the people he gather through his life. Lambo is still studying and been doing very well." Thinking of something good to tell them but don't spill everything.
"Wow." They all said thinking about the future wanting to know more but know that they shouldn't know more.
"It's more fun that way isn't it? To experience it instead of just knowing it all." Reborn said appearing out of nowhere.
"Ara? Everyone?" a familiar female voice said.
"Kyoko-chan, Haru-chan, Hana-chan." Natsu said smiling at the 3 confuse faces that doesn't recognized him.
"Do you know us?" Kyoko ask the stranger tilting her head trying to remember where she seen him before.
"Haha you don't recognize me huh?" Taking out a small old blue charm with a tuna fish on it. "Weren't you the one who gave me this, Kyoko-chan?"
"That's...ah! The charm I gave to Tsuna-kun...eh?"
"Ding ding ding! That's correct. I'm Sawada Tsunayoshi from 10 years from now. A CERTAIN inventor messed up Lambo's bazooka and this happen. But then I'm using the name, Natsu, for the time being." at the same time a round man sneezed.
"Tsuna-san looks so hot in the future!" Haru said running to hug him as 2 hearts crack when they see that. "Did Tsuna-san marry Haru in the future?"
"Haha no you're not going to marry me but maybe someone else." Natsu said giving a quick glance at that person. "Someone around here."
"Now now Haru it's not good for a girl to be all over a guy like that. Sawada, is it possible that I ask why you're wearing a suit?" Hana said looking up and down at the older man.
"Ah right. I don't think there's something at home that my size so I didn't change. And I'm not wearing any of Iemitsu's clothes. And in the future a devil made me get use to wearing suits to the point that I forget I'm wearing them." scratching the back of his head dodging a bullet from said devil.
"Let's go buy some clothes for you then!" Kyoko said louder than her normal voice.
"Sure...Lambo! Let's go get some ice cream! Everyone come too. My treat." Taking out a black card that he gotten his hand on from somewhere hidden in his house by Iemitsu.
"LAMBO WANTS ICE CREAM!" the little cow ran and hug Natsu's leg.
"Let's go then." spending the rest of the day shopping and getting treats for the kids [in Natsu's case].
