"Sora, Sora, please can you go to the Valentines dance with me!?!?" I asked my best friend.
"Mimi, why should we even go to this dance any way?" Sora replied, "Its not important or anything. Some guys even asked you out but you turned them all down."
I sighed and shook my head," Don't think that no one asked you the dance to. And any way I know this dance isn't important but the first times in months that all the D.D are all there."
I looked at her quizzically" Sora?!?! What are you hiding from me?" She shook her head and looked dreamily out my bedroom window.
'Something's up and I know the right person to help me squeeze it out of her!'
Once Sora left I called my other best friend.
"Hey, Kari can you come over to my house? I want to talk to you about something." I said
"Ok, Mimi. See you in five!" with that she hung up. Five minuets later Kari was at my door.
"Come in Kari," she walked into my living room, when my mom came in.
"Hello sweetheart, hi Kari how are you? I baked cookies do you want some?" Kari smiled and nodded.
"So what did you want to talk about Mimi?" I sighed. I explained what happened with Sora when she came over, and Kari was listening to the whole thing, when I was done she looked at me shocked.
"Mimi you don't think that she already has a date and hasn't told us has she?" I looked at Kari. I shook my head.
"Kari we're her best friend. We tell each other everything! I think Sora was just thinking about Tai asking her to the dance," She shook her head.
"No, Tai has been acting normal, well normal as Tai can get," she shrugged. I laughed and it only took seconds for her to going in laughing with me.
"Well what ever it is I hope it's not bothering her. I don't want her to get hurt in the end," her phone rang.
"Hello?" she asked into her phone.
"Ok, I will . . . no prob. Bye" She
