He drove me to his house, he said he wanted to take care of me until I felt better, I liked the idea of course, although I felt kind of bad. "Professor, you really don't have to-" "I want to make sure you get better Emmy. A gentleman should always help a lady when needed." I smiled at him. He got me a glass of water and a cold towel whilst I was lying down on the sofa. "Thank you." I smiled slightly. "If you need anything else just tell me." He softly kissed my head then left the room. Maybe being sick wasn't so bad. Except it felt worse than just a cold, my head was pounding and I was in a lot of pain so I decided to go to sleep for a bit. I closed my eyes and began to dream.
I woke up with the professor next to next to me. "Hey." I smiled. "How are you feeling?" "Much better, actually!" I sat up, feeling completely 100% better. He leaned closer to me. "You know, Emmy..." He caressed my cheek and I smiled. "I always thought you were cute." "C-Cute?" He nodded then he kissed me. "I love you, Emmy. "I love you too, professor."
I woke up and saw the professor sitting there. "You okay?" "Y-Yeah... it was only a dream." I whispered to myself in disappointment. "Hmm?" "N-Nothing." I looked outside and it was starting to get dark. "I should probably get going." I stood up but I was still feeling weak. "Emmy, you can stay here for tonight if you want." "But you've already done so much for me." "I said I'd take care of you until you get better, didn't I?" He smiled. "Here." He picked me up and carried me upstairs. I looked up at him but I turned away once he met my gaze. "You can stay in this room for the time being." He put me down on the bed in a spare room. "Thank you." I smiled. "Anything I can get for you?" I shook my head. "I'm alright for now, thanks." I pulled the blankets over myself. "Just call me if you do." He smiled as he walked out of the room. "Hey, um..." He looked back at me. "Thank you... for everything." He smiled. "Anything for you, 'number one assistant'." I giggled. "Thanks." "Rest up well." He left the room and I smiled to myself, I just wish he knew how I really felt.
