just want to say, this chapter mentions Yaoi and Yuri, but this chapter is staying in T and the explaining in it is not very much
but it just expresses some aren't as friendly, which is true so please don't try to look it up.
and I decided to make this a Chapter 3 for this instead of ending it with just two chatpers
anyway please enjoy this chapter and sorry this isn't perfect but I hope some enjoy it all the same.
it was only a hour when they left Smarty's place of residence and they were walking down the streets
Smarty thought he would take his men (that are now back to life) to go grab something to eat before he showed them how much as changed
as the toon patrol past by two men holding hands, this made Greasy's left eyebrow raise up in confusion
"say boss?"
"what is it Greasy? if it's about the clothes those girls we past by before, I keep telling you that is how some girls wear clothes these days
not all girls wear dresses or those short pants like from years back, I mean yes they do wear shorts but they also-"Smarty said
but was cut off by Greasy "no no, not that! I mean I want to know why those two gentlemen are holding each other's hands like that?"
Greasy asked as he points his thumb at the men who just went to a fast good place to eat.
"it's because they are together."
"so are we but we don't hold hands."after those words come out of his mouth, Smarty grab his own hat and hit it in the back of Greasy's head
and causing his own hat to fall off for a moment before he grabbed it and placed it back on top his head where it was before Smarty hit him with his own hat.
"NOT THAT KIND OF TOGETHER YOU NIMROD!"Smarty yells out but saw that his yelling had caused some eyes to look their way
so he decided to calmly place his hat back on and calmly, as best as he could to explain to Greasy and the rest of his men about the two men they seen.
"I am gonna explain to you, so you best get it through your head and understand because I ain't explaining again...those two men are together-together, as in the romantic way."
after he spoke those words, he watched the different reactions from his men/friends, Greasy seem to be the most surprise
"wait so, is one of them a lady? my eyes must be playing tricks on me if I mistook one of them for a man."
"no, your eyes weren't playing tricks on you and both of them are 100% male, it's just how things are now...back then that kind of sexuality was-"
but when he said that word all four weasels start to giggle and snicker, which earned all of them a good old hit with his hat.
"seriously there is nothing naughty about that word you know, it just means a interest in the gender one is attracted to...or lack there of, for some. now as I was saying, that kind of sexuality wasn't very open some years ago when we still worked for Judge Doom and the reason why some toons from toontown had no clue about it is because there was a rule in the human world to keep that kind of thing from toons so they would have no knowledge of it but some time after a toon from toontown saw a Anime with slash in it well, word got back to the rest of the toons and-"but Smarty was interpret by Psycho who raised his hand
"yes Psycho?"
"did anyone get hurt from the slash and what weapon was used?"
"no, it isn't that kind of slash...it is a slang term like to describe same gender relationships like a Yuri or Yaoi but I highly advise you to stay away from the M rated ones...but as I was saying before I was rudely interpreted, once a toon found out about it they went back to toontown to tell the rest of the toons and some toons who didn't realize they swung that way until that very toon told them and the rest of everybody else in toontown about it."
Smarty tells Psycho, he knew from reading the info about Yaoi and Yuri
that there were dark and too mature actions in most of them, and he would like to keep Psycho from them...

"M rated?"Wheezy asked after he took his cigarette out of his mouth then Smarty started to explain that ratings for cartoons have changed and not all cartoons are for everyone, Wheezy was impressed that Smarty learned a little from the new world that he and the others were brought back to life to see,
but he had no idea what a Anime was...
"so what is a Anime?"Wheezy asked as he smokes more but a lady with her baby passing by, grabs it out of his hand and throws it down on the ground and stomps on it before walking away, Wheezy glared at the women but decided to let it go and went back to waiting for Smarty to explain Anime.
"Anime is just another name for a Cartoon, and Anime isn't just made in one country that some humans assume, but Anime comes in different forms. some Anime is less with it's toon physics...so some of those toons can't bounce back like we and some toons can...some have to go to the hospital or be brought back to life by their creators or one of the people working on their show or movie after it's completed."
"do you know everything about those new toons?"Wheezy asked as he and the others followed Smarty in a fancy restaurant
"not everything, just what I know and the info I read up about them online but it wasn't very much...they do in fact, don't like to be called 'Anime' it's fine if you are talking about the cartoon they are in but to call them 'Anime' is kind of racist, so just warning you boys to keep your mouths from saying the wrong thing to those toons once you meet them."
"how can you read up about them on a clothes line?"Stupid asked, as he was just as confused as the other three, Smarty slap his hand over his face and let's out a deep sigh
"not that...kind of line, it's ONLINE...once we get back I really need to introduce you boys to the internet."Smarty said
Flashback:
in Toon-Brooklyn, Smarty was in her apartment eating supper when she heard a scream outside
she went out and saw that another toon was hurt, was shot with a squirt gun filled with that ink remover called white-out
"darn kids, can't they're parents teach them that stuff isn't a toy to play with...and it can be deadly for toons."a toon-wolf said as he looked at the poor toon who was holding their arm in pain
Smarty went back inside to get her first-aid, and made sure to grab the non-toon gloves to use so she could touch the toon's white-out covered arm
after coming back out she yells "okay you lot, move aside so I can tend to this poor saps wounds."they did what she asked and it gave her room to work on the guy
the toon was Felix The Cat, had just moved into the apartment last week.
Smarty got out some paint and started to work, she first had to clean off the white-out which isn't easy and didn't help that Felix was flinching
"will you stop your flinching, I need to get as much as this stuff off ya as possible."she said while wearing a medical mask to keep herself from breathing in the white-out
"sorry...it just hurts so bad, I didn't think those kids would do that..."Felix said as he let out a few coughs
"try not to breath in the smell from the white-out, and you should of known better to let human kids on this property without them being with a guardian, we have rules at this apartment for a reason
it wasn't a rule until what happen to the guy that use to live at your apartment."
"what do you mean?"
"well, one day he was coming back from grocery shopping and these kids come out of nowhere with squirt guns that were filled with paint thinner...from the older brother's story, they had plan to use it
to clean off the paint from the wall they had doodled paint on...but accidentally shot at the poor toon, he was in Brooklyn when it happen and it didn't reach Toon-Brooklyn until later that night."
after drawing Felix a new arm and placing bandages on it, Smarty tells Felix once again
"don't ever go close to a kid if they have a suspicious squirt gun and especially if they ain't with their parent or any other guardian figure...or else you be dead."
"you mean like...the guy that use to live here?"
"yeah but he was brought back to life, lucky his creator heard the news and used the drawing they did of them to bring him back to life but now the poor guy is too scared to go outside and moved back with his creator."
"wait so, wait he didn't stay...well it's good that his creator helped bring him back to life but I feel sorry for him."Felix said
but got a finger poking his nose that belong to the female toon-weasel
"just see that you keep yourself safe and out of danger, best for both toons and kids that way...not saying all human kids are bad, just some can be careless when it comes to their own safety as well as our own safety, just keep that in mind next time."
"hey Smarty, I'm impressed you didn't mix up your words or mispronounce them this time."the toon-wolf said
with a whistle while his brother nod his head in agreement along with a toon-pig.
"yeah...but I still have moments when I tend to mix up my own words...I'm still working on it."Smarty said as she gets up from where she was on her knees
and eyes Felix with a serious look
"I know you let those kids in, but I want to ask you next time not to do that again...next time it might not be your arm that they try to take...and something tells me, those kids did it on purpose to just torture a toon for the kicks.
so please be careful about which type of human kids you trust Felix."after giving him this last piece of advice, Smarty headed back inside to finish eating before she headed to work at the clinic.
