Seto's justification.

Seto writes. Téa recites.

I acknowledge - You asked for no 'other,'

But you knew for whom you had asked.

It was my courage to accept you,

That had your little heart basked!

Under the shades of blistering azures – Home, you proclaimed!

Ironies, taunts, sarcasms, you even loved my disdain?

Why now my dear wife - you speak, lips full of voice,

Are you implying that in the past, you never had a choice?

I saw your presence in my life, meaningful and true,

I cherished your submissions, as much as did you!

For those who rose against me, against them you turned your ire,

For my love, for my sake, you even walked on fire!

So why now, bitter wife, against my name you fight?

I know I did things wrong - but have I not made them right?

I'm proud of your glory Téa, I'm proud of your name,

You can conquer me, or we can together extend our domain!

From the day I pushed you away, I've looked - to find where you were gone,

I've missed your kisses, hugs and touches, and all that was withdrawn!

There was none but only me, to search you high and low,

From desert sands, to western lands, I've looked in wilderness and snow!

Are you aware? Do you even care? Of my yearning you nothing know!

And now your wrath like lightening falls,

Your anger rightful, order tall!

But for you, I too have fought and suffer,

Only You - there was no other!

I accuse you not lack of faith,

Merely hatred in form of wraith!

Let the bitterness in your heart well up, let your tears speak,

Etch your daggers in my heart, Téa - you know that I'm not weak!

I'm here to lose no more. I'm here to collect my due,

I'm here for Renée, as much as I'm here for you!

And should you think of escaping me, darling - I promise I'll always pursue!

Never again will you accuse me of - Nothing, for you'll know it won't be true,

With all my heart, I say you now...

I'm Nothing – Without You!
