Malfoy Wedding

The highly anticipated wedding between Mr. Draco Malfoy and Ms. Astoria Greengrass was held last week in the grounds of Malfoy Manor.

Over three hundred guests had attended the ceremony, many of them important members of the Ministry. Though our reporters had not been able to attend the event, they recorded eye-witness accounts of the happenings:

Mr. Blaise Zabini: I don't usually do weddings, but Draco's my best mate and all, so I had to go. Though I must say, Astoria's dress probably cost more than the wedding itself. I promised him I wouldn't disclose the rest of the information, so I really am quite sorry.

Mr. Theodore Nott: It was a disastrous event if you ask me. I told him that Daphne would have been a better choice for a bride, but Draco always seemed to like younger girls.

Ms. Daphne Greengrass: If you ask me, Draco seemed quite faint as soon as he stood on the altar waiting for my darling little sister. Astoria would like to keep the rest private, so I shan't say anymore.

So far, we haven't been able to score an interview with anyone who is willing to provide more information on this event. Please check tomorrow's Daily Prophet for more information.

Draco Malfoy, the runaway bride

I attained a personal invitation from both the groom Draco Malfoy, and bride, Astoria Greengrass to attend their wedding a week ago.

I was there through the whole planning process of the wedding, as I am a close friend of the Malfoys. Both Astoria and Draco were immensely excited for the event, and in the weeks before the wedding, I often had to calm the poor girl down.

I arrived at the wedding earlier than most, and reassured the bride before taking my seat in the front row. Draco walked in only moments later with a look of horror plastered to his face. I thought he was just unsure of what to do, as they hadn't had a rehearsal for the wedding. I thought he was about to faint on poor Blaise, who was standing there with no idea how to help him.

And then Astoria started her way down the aisle in the most fabulous wedding robes, she looked like and angel that one. It was all very emotional. Astoria was crying, her mother and Daphne were crying, even Narcissa almost shed a tear.

But then seconds after they said their vows, Draco just sort of got this strange look on his face, and ran off, pulling down all the flowers and trampling on them as he went. It was all very strange. I have still been unable to speak to Draco about this incident.

Well, that's all for now. Stay tuned for the New Years Special of Witch Weekly.
