Heroes Fan-Fiction. Tagalong Pt. 2.
A few days later
Peter was at his brother's office, waiting for him as he'd had to take some massively important call. He was sat in one of the chairs opposite Nathan's desk, looking round. It looked the same as it always had, with one slight difference. There was a cardboard box of things next to the heavy desk. In the top was a photo of his family. He couldn't help but grimace slightly at the sight of the man he'd called his father. He picked up the photo and turned it over.
Peter began digging through the box, finding a few old photos and comics, including one of a pretty girl Nathan had once been out with. There was something right at the very bottom covered in dust. Peter pulled it out. He gasped and collapsed back into the chair. The baseball cap. The one he'd held all those years before.
"Something wrong?" He jumped. Peter thought for a second about telling his brother of his discovery, of how it was just the clairsentience. But looking at Nathan's worriedface, he realised he just didn't have the heart.
He managed a tight, weak smile.
"Nothing, Nathan. Now, what did you want to see me about?" Nathan looked suspicious for a second, but recomposed himself and took a seat behind his desk.
A/N: So there we go! Sorry about the delay, I've been up to my neck in school work! Please review and tell me your opinion, I'd love to hear what you thought. Thanks.
