Fuck. I got busted. Sasuke said, eyeing Sakura and shooting daggers at her. He desperately tried to break free from the straps, but they seem durable. He counted them from his arms to his legs, 25 all in all. What the fuck is this thing. He looked up once again at Sakura, who, he noticed, seem to be expertly holding the gun. Her stance is balanced, the grip is firm, and the distance from her chest to the gun is perfect. I got tied up. She's good.

Who are you... Haruno Sakura.

"Who are you, and what are you looking for here?"

Sakura's hands are steady, her emerald eyes piercing through Sasuke's. Calm. Confident. But Sasuke will not allow himself to panic; manifest to Sakura, at least. Inwardly, he prays to any omnipotent being that exists to connect him to his blonde partner to save him, who's off somewhere in this very building, maybe being stupid, or maybe, being smart and reliable. Hoping for the latter, he thinks of a way to buy time, to do anything that can possibly prolong his life.

Sasuke gulped, and tried to relax his body. He doesn't have a plan – or maybe he does, which is merely to taunt Sakura and appear as cool as possible. "Haruno Sakura…" he let his eyes travel down to her form, agonizingly slow, following the curves of her waist, to her hips, shapely legs and back up to meet her eyes, "I like feisty girls. Quite kinky too, seriously? Bondage?"

"Shut up, Sai. Or, tell me, is that even your name?" Sakura says, her fingers slowly curling around the trigger.

"Who knows," He shrugs. "Is Haruno Sakura even your name?" Sasuke thought he saw movement from the corner of his eyes coming from the door, but he dare not look at it. He's playing with fire, and he ought to keep an eye on such flame. Any small movement from him will earn him a bullet through his head.

Sakura lets one hand let go of the gun and pulls something out of her pocket. A syringe filled with clear-looking liquid. She throws it to the person next to her, and puts her hand back on the gun. "You might want to say little prayer for the sorry life you have." Sakura said, while Sasuke eyed the person holding the syringe making his way towards him. Whatever it is, he will not allow himself to be injected by that substance. He thrashed violently to loosen up the binds on his body, but to no avail. "Such a shame, you kiss good," she said.

"Maybe you'd like to have one more round of that before you kill me."

"I'd love to, but it's really not up to me," Sakura said, casting a nod of approval to the holder of the syringe.

Then, suddenly, he heard gunshots coming from the right side, and one by one, each person holding a gun on him fell down. Within a few seconds, all were hit, except Sakura, who was quick enough to find shelter behind the divider of the room. Sasuke looked to the direction of the person on the door, and sure enough, there's Naruto, who's now exchanging fires with Sakura. Sasuke leans back, and closed his eyes, trying to inch away from the bullets coming from the two, feeling a bit helpless, as he cannot cover himself. After a few more shots, he heard several clicks on the left. Sakura ran out of bullets. Naruto entered the room and throws a knife near to Sasuke. "Let yourself out, chickenhead."

"Fucking dobe. She's behind the wall!" Sasuke said, and reached for the knife thrown a few inches away from his right. Almost as soon as he said those words, Sakura went out from where she's hiding, holding her hands up, catching a sight of Sasuke having trouble with getting the knife that's a bit too far from him. She lifts her eyes up and meets Naruto's.

"I'm not armed. I'm out of bullets." She said, maintaining eye contact.

"Put the goddamn gun down." Naruto points the gun to Sakura's head, and he analyzed Sakura for any sign of possible retaliation. None. She bit her lip, hesitated, before eventually putting her gun on the floor. She stands up straight with her hands still in the air, brushing a few strands of her hair out of her face. "Kick that motherfucker towards me." She complied, and the gun was kicked to Naruto's direction. "Good. Now, this couch looks automatic. Get him off it, or I'll shoot you."

"This is bull—"

"DO IT!" Naruto yelled. Sakura didn't even flinch. She just merely glared as hard as she can, before making her way towards Sasuke, not meeting his eyes. She slowly kneels down and fumbled with something at the corner of the binding couch. In a second, Sasuke was freed. He stood up, and stood next to Naruto, the knife thrown in his direction in his palm. "I got them. Let's get out of here. And you…" Naruto directed towards Sakura, "You better stay there and don't fuck with us."

Sasuke glanced one last time at Sakura, who remained standing there without doing anything. He met her eyes one more time, but absent there was any sign of anger for losing. He looked away and made his way out the door.

"How did you even get there? You seem pretty useless, today, teme." Naruto said as he drove away. He cautiously looked behind him to check for any suspicious vehicle following them.

"That's none of your fucking business."

"We're fucking partners. You screw up, I screw up. I need to know what happened."

Sasuke hesitated. How could he tell Naruto that he was too caught up making out with that girl? More so, he was able to get two of their targets, now currently knocked out behind their car, without his help. Sasuke let out a heavy sigh, and muttered, "We made out."

Naruto didn't look at him. Neither is Sasuke willing to look at Naruto. This is freaking embarrassing. A few awkward seconds passed, before Naruto bursts out laughing. "You're going to be so screwed by Tsunade."

"Shut up, dobe." Sasuke just closed his eyes and ignored the jeers Naruto irritatingly gives. No, I'm not, because we accomplished the mission. And it sucks.

"Good job for the two of you. I'll be giving your next assignments the day after tomorrow. Take this time to rest. Leave the rest up to the R&T department." Tsunade said without lifting her head up. Naruto made a small salute, gave a thumbs up to Sasuke and left without another word. The moment the door closed behind him, Sasuke cleared his throat to catch Tsunade's attention. "What?" she said, not bothering to look at him, and continuously focused on whatever it is she's busy with.

Sasuke put his hands in his pockets, and said, "It was Naruto who got both Hyugas." Tsunade stopped writing and looked at Sasuke, a slight hint of surprise in her eyes, but it vanished almost immediately. She waited, expecting him to say more. "I got…captured." Sasuke said, biting the insides of his cheek, without looking up. "But I promise I'll do better next time."

"No need for that. You accomplished your mission, the two of you. That's what matters. But, you should know that you don't owe KA for not doing your part. You owe your partner." Tsunade made a small smile and resumed writing.

Sasuke looked up at Tsunade. He turned around walked away, and stopped after a few steps. "We encountered a certain Haruno Sakura. She got me captured and Naruto did all the job. You might be interested to know." Sasuke left without a word, leaving Tsunade just staring at the back of her retreating agent.

Sasuke walked up to the stairs of his department. Before going home, he had changed to his casual clothes, which he does whenever he goes from home to Konohagakure Agency and back. He played with the keys found inside his pocket while climbing the stairs, before pulling it out when he reached the fourth floor.

"Hi, Sasuke!" Sasuke directed his head toward the direction of the person who called him. It was Ino, his attractive, but noisy neighbor, batting her eyelashes as she sees him making his way towards his place. He acknowledged her with a "hn," and picked the right key for the door. "You left your stereo on, I think. I'm a fan of chill music too. We have something in common." She said, with her singsong, girly voice that Sasuke barely noticed.

Sasuke stopped for a moment and listened. Indeed, some tune is playing, coming from inside his apartment. He doesn't remember turning it on. He looked back at Ino and muttered a small thank you, before she left. Sasuke looked back to his apartment and cautiously opened the door, one of his hands resting on the gun hidden on the waistband of his jeans.

He cursed inwardly as the door made a slight creak, putting the gun up, first to the right, and then to the left. The room is pitch black and he barely sees anything but he decided that the coast is clear. He closed the door behind him, and moved to his bedroom door, feeling the cold knob before opening it fast, pointing at nothing in particular in his empty bedroom.

"You're late, darling."

Sasuke turned around and pointed the gun to the direction of the voice. The living room wasn't empty. On the couch to his right, a figure reaches out her right hand to the lamp situated next to it, and turns it on. The stereo's running and playing a tune, but Sasuke pays no attention to it.

It is Sakura. Haruno Sakura.

"How did you-?"

"A lot of things you don't know about me, Uchiha Sasuke." She smiled sweetly, as Sasuke's eyes glared at her. She knows my name. "Don't worry, I'm not armed. I just wanted to see for myself if I'm correct in knowing that you're not Sai." She uncrossed her shapely legs and stood up, raising her hands up. "Listen, I know what you did. You took the Hyuugas. You owe me, big time, and And I want to make you pay for it, but I need you for something." She took one step forward, seemingly unafraid of a revolver pointed at her.

"It seems to me that you have a death wish." Sasuke said, his finger lightly pulling on the trigger, ready to fire any moment. "You're in my house, I have a gun pointed at your head…"

"Who knows? Maybe I'm not alone…you could be…surrounded," she stepped another step forward, "Or maybe, I just want to continue where we last ended earlier." Another step.

Sasuke pulled the trigger, and hit a little past Sakura's ear, where he targeted. She flinched a bit. For some reason, despite the taunting, he doesn't want to put a bullet into this girl. "I hope that's enough to get you out of here." He watched her put her finger against her ear, and saw a trickle of blood coming from where the bullet grazed her. She looked at it and locked eyes with Sasuke. "Get out."

Sakura hesitated. For a few seconds, things were quiet between the two of them. Eyes are on each other, each one not daring to look away. "I'll meet you behind the Memorial Stone at 11PM tomorrow."

Sasuke lowered his gun down slightly. "I don't understand—"

Sakura put both hands down and walked towards Sasuke slowly. She stood up in front of him and brushed away his gun, which was pointed at her chest. He felt petrified at the moment, intrigued by the mystery that surrounds this pink-haired lady who managed to let herself in and keep herself undetected in the comforts of his own home, and even find out who he is less than 24 hours after their uneventful meeting. At the same time, she excited him more than he's ever felt thrilled of anything before.

She snakes her arms around Sasuke's neck. Sasuke surprised himself; he let his arms surround Sakura's waist, and kissed her roughly, letting his tongue slither its way into her mouth, which she allowed. Sakura entangled her fingers in Sasuke's hair and kissed him back as roughly, not wanting to lose the battle. She pulled away, sighing against his lips, and put a little peck on Sasuke's cheek, before slowly leaving from the apartment.

Sasuke, stunned for a moment, just remained standing and staring at the open door. He tries to collect his bearings and recover from what he had just experienced. She's amazing, but scary. She's exciting, but horrifying. And her eyes are the brightest and most intense he has ever looked into.

This girl means danger. And he's caught up with her.
