I got to the junk yard and walked in in all my misery. Buster hadn't come back. Guess he died under all that garbage. There was Mooch, Ruby, Scratchy, Francois, and the rest. There was a new dog there that I had never seen before. It was a female. She looked a lot like Angel, only a lot bigger. She sat on that big, broken dog pound truck that Buster and Angel used to sit on. She must have taken over after Buster disappeared. I sat at the entrance, waiting for someone, anyone, to notice that I was there. Mooch finally waddled over to me and barked to the big blonde dog. "Hey, hey, Missy! Look what I found! She's Scamp's kid sister! Hey, Missy!" He stuttered. "I'm comin', Shaggy." She said with a smirk. "Oh. Oh, yeah." Mooch replied before going back to where he came from. I sat there and waited for her to come over there. "Hey, Scruff and Fluff, what brings ya here? I know about your big brother, and your daddy, and if I see either of those idiots here, I'll clobber 'em." She said as Mooch rolled a stick to her and she stepped on it, breaking it in half. I took a step back, staring at Missy growling and Mooch panting next to her. I guessed he had a crush on her. I finally walked up to Missy and talked to her. "Don't worry, Missy. I'm not looking for trouble. I'm looking for a home." I said, smiling and puffing out my chest. "Don't ya already have one? What about this tag 'n collar of yours?" She asked, looking at my tear streaked collar. Oh. Right. "Oh. This old thing? I tried the family life. Didn't like it, skipped it. Just left last night." I said, continuing to show off. Missy smiled. "Okay, I give up. You've one me over, kiddo. I like your style." She said, winking and returning to the old pound truck. I breathed a sigh of relief. I did it!
