Beth looked into the craft services tent to see Justin sitting on the ground, Heather in his lap. Beth watched in horror as Heather wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips against his. Beth turned away, tears stinging her eyes.
Justin, her wonderful Justin, was locking lips with her worst enemy. Of course he'd never loved her. It was the same story, over and over again. It was as if the guys she thought she loved received some sick, twisted pleasure from seeing her heart broken. Everyone she had ever gone out with pretended to be madly in love with her, then went behind her back with another girl. Even Brady... Her cast mates didn't believe her, but he was real. Their relationship wasn't. She thought it had been.
No one ever truly shared Beth's affections. She knew she never had a chance with Heather, and it was probably just a girl crush anyway. Nothing real. Beth thought that Cody might like her but it was quickly obvious that he'd fallen for Gwen. And although Beth knew that she shouldn't believe rumors, she couldn't help but fear that Izzy wasn't lying when she said Cody was with Noah. But now...Justin. She almost thought that the male model really felt something for her. Now she could see that she'd been tricked. Again.
Beth sighed. She wiped the tears from her eyes and walked back to the girls' trailer. Maybe Lindsay could comfort her... Oh, wait. She was just eliminated a few days ago. Great. Beth was alone again.
Someone knocked on the door. Reluctantly, Beth opened it to see Justin, smiling his beautiful smile.
Beth sighed inwardly. She knew she was being used. But, feeling his arms wrapped around her, she decided that she didn't care.
