Disclaimer: I don't own Gakuen Alice.

I figured I should do a Mikan POV of this one, so here it is!

Please enjoy!

I never really thought that having fan boys was this hard. Now, I understand how Natsume feels whenever he was chased by his fan girls. Although, unlike Natsume, I politely decline, reject their affections for me. How can I accept another when for the last six years, I've been in love with my partner, Natsume Hyuuga.

But surprisingly, after the last dance, nobody approached me to confess their feelings. Although, it was a good thing for me, I can't help but think it's strange. Why you mean? Because after the last dance, boys never even approached me, except for my friends and Natsume's.

I asked Natsume about it since he was my partner during the last dance but he only ignored my question. During those times, I don't know what made me fall for him in the first place, but who I was kidding, I learn to love every side of stubborn Natsume.

But someone did confess after the last dance, and here I thought I can have a peaceful time. I was on my way to the classroom alone, I usually go with Natsume even though he doesn't attend class which I find weird, that day when someone called my name. I looked back only to see, Kenji Takahiro, captain of the soccer club. He's from another class if I remember correctly and also he's rank third in the popularity poll for guys, according to some of my girl classmates.

"Sakura-san!"

"What is it, Takahiro-san?" I replied, smiling slightly.

"Uhh.. I like you, Sakura-san!" He shouted, looking at me seriously.

"I'm sorry Takahiro-san, but I only like you as a friend," I replied smiling at him sadly.

"I-it's okay, Sakura-san! I just wanted to let you know, well, I have to go to my club now, bye, Sakura-san," He said before running, not even giving me the chance to reply. I sighed; I can't help but feel slightly sad every time I reject them.

After classes, I immediately went to the Sakura tree, since I know that's where I'll find Natsume.

"Hey, Natsume!"

"What now, Polka?" Natsume replied, while reading his manga.

"Let's go to central town!" I asked pleadingly.

"No," Natsume blatantly refused.

"Aww, pretty please? I'll even give you howalons!" I pouted while giving him the best puppy dog eyes I could muster while thinking of another way to persuade him, when he answered.

"Tch, Fine," Natsume said, standing up.

"Really?" I asked him, mouth agape. I mean, Natsume agreed! Without it taking hours for his majesty to think it through!

"Do you want to go or not?" He asked annoyed.

"Of course I want to go! I'm just surprised you agreed easily," I pouted, mumbling the last part.

"I needed to buy some manga anyways," He replied. Seriously, he has the ears of a cat.

"Okay! Let's go!"

After that day, I usually pester Natsume to go home with me, or go to central, because for some reasons, he was agreeing to me easily, unlike before when I have to plead to him for hours! He even accompanies me wherever I go, I don't know what happened but I enjoy spending time with him anyways.

But this changed when Narumi-sensei announced that Natsume was going to participate in the regional basketball competition and he was going to be away for the whole week for practice. I looked at Natsume, eyes wide. He looked away. I won't see Natsume for the whole week? I thought dejectedly.

Today was the first day of Natsume's basketball practice, and I was very happy, NOT. Fan boys, fan boys everywhere! When I arrived at school this morning, they were waiting for me with flowers and chocolates, proclaiming their undying love in front of the school body.

I tried my best to reject them as politely as I could but I was nearing to my limits, it was a good thing Hotaru shoot them with her baka gun, saying she couldn't pass through the gate with them flocking around. With that, I immediately followed her, leaving them passed out.

It was time for lunch and as usual, the gang minus, Natsume, of course, were all present.

"Hotaru, I can't take this anymore! Why are they appearing again? I thought they'd lose their interest on me," I complained.

"That's because you're an idiot," Hotaru replied blankly.

"Mou! Seriously, why, it's been a week already!" I asked desperately, flailing my hands.

"That's because Natsume isn't around, Mikan-chan," Nonoko said, giggling.

"Yeah, Mikan-chan, Nonoko's right," Anna agreed. Natsume? What's he got to do in all of this? I thought.

"Natsume? Eh? What's the connection with him?" I inquired, scratching the back of my head.

"That's why you're being called an idiot by Imai, idiot," Permy mumbled.

"I'm not asking for your opinion permy!"

"Oh, burn, permy, burn," Kitsu said, laughing. Permy smacked his head.

"But man, Natsume's to kill list is going to be longer by the time he comes back," Koko stated after laughing.

"Heck, that Kenji guy would probably on top of his list," Mochu added chuckling.

"I think the population of the boys in the academy would be halved when Natsume's back," Ruka-pyon said, shaking his head, to which everyone laughed again. I sighed, not really listening to their conversation anymore, since I was so tired from fleeing, rejecting fan boys. Speaking of Natsume, I miss him. I thought he'll be only gone for a week? It's been a week now and he's not yet here. Hurry and come back, Natsume, I thought sadly.

When classes ended, I immediately fixed my things and hurried going home while trying so hard not to encounter a random fan boy who'll confess his feelings for the nth time of the day. So far so good, I thought as I reached the convenient store that was near our school. I slowed my pace down, since I was out of school vicinity. No one would confess outside of school right?

I was admiring the random goods on the stores on the way, when I saw people gathering around someone nearby. My curiosity getting the better of me, I went to crowd that was slowly dispersing, leaving the person whom I haven't seen the past days.

"Natsume?" I whispered, making him look at me with those crimson eyes. It really is him, I thought happily.

"I haven't seen you the past few days!" I squealed, excitedly.

"Hn" Mou, Haven't you missed me at all? I thought when I remembered something.

"What are you doing? Why were they crowding you?" I asked curiously.

"Just taking out some trash you call fan boys polka, seriously, you need to be more aware of your surroundings, little girl," Natsume sternly said, looking at me seriously.

"Someone was following me?" I asked, tilting my head slightly. I mean, I was so sure, no one would follow me, but gasp, my fan boys are stalkers now?

"Yes, you dense little girl, good thing I decided to follow you as soon as I came back from practice," He replied coolly. I felt my heart beat accelerate at his statement.

"Thanks, Natsume!" I said, smiling at him, trying not to blush but all of a sudden he grabbed my hand; I could feel my face reddened at the gesture.

"Na-natsume?"

"Let's get you home now idiot, it's getting late," He said not even glancing at me. For once I didn't mind being called an idiot. All that matters was Natsume was back.

"Okay, whatever you say, Natsume!" I replied as I beamed happily at him, pushing my luck by intertwining our fingers. I expected him to let go but, he turned to me and smiled back. It was pure bliss seeing his smiling face.

We finally arrived at my house and Natsume reluctantly let go of my hand and was about to walk away when I tip toed and kissed his cheek. I swear I didn't know what possessed me to do that, but I didn't regret doing it. In fact, it felt really good.

"As a thanks for walking me home and taking care of my stalkers!" I grinned happily at him, blushing. I knew I was blushing real hard.

"On the cheek really? Next time for the services I provided, make it on the lips, polka-dots, or should I say ichigo-kara," Natsume smirked and swiftly pecked my lips. Did Natsume just… kiss me? Holy. Guacamole. I blushed heavily but then my brain finally registered what he said. Ichigo-kara.

"Natsume, you hentai!"

But hey, I'm looking forward for that next time to happen.
