Warnings: The rating is there for a reason, Foul Language! Be Careful, Duckies!

Disclaimer: I don't own Kingdom Hearts, nor any of it's characters! But I do own a copy of the song 'Ignite', and I believe by the time I finally get sick of the song my friends will have learned how sing the entire song in fluent Japanese.

To The Duckies:

Q: Why did the calf cross the road?

A: To get to the udder side.

Sora believed that the worst part of a trip was the unpacking.

As soon as a person arrives at their destination they either want to

A. take off and explore

or

B. take a nice long nap

Unfortunately both those activities are put on hold due to the dreaded deed.

What a buzz kill...

As soon as Sora and Roxas had arrived the two of them were informed that dinner was ready whenever they had finished getting ready. Roxas went to his room and shut the door without a word, so Sora took the liberty of thanking his Aunt for the both of them. Aerith's smile was still as bright as ever, and Sora was immediately reminded what he loved most about his Aunt in an instant. Sora was truly grateful that she never changed, Aerith's smile seemed to be the only stable structure in his life. The last thing Sora needed was another thing to fix, he had enough problems with the blonde misanthrope already.

After putting away his last pair of socks and just stuffing his pants in a random drawer, Sora set the final touch on his nightstand. A photo of Sora and his twin brother, Roxas, along with his mother and father sat upon the freshly dusted surface, compliments of Madam Aerith. Sora smiled softly and looked upward.

"This is it, Dad. I'm going to change us this year. Roxas and I will change. Mom will change, as well. When I take over, I'll change everything."

A snort at the door caused him to turn around and he was met by a familiar scowling expression.

"Are you alright?" Sora asked, noticing the scowl deepen as he addressed his brother.

Roxas ignored his question completely and turned his back to Sora. " I just came to tell you not to take too long. I'm hungry and Aerith won't start dinner until everyone is at the table."

He nodded. "I just finished." Sora turned and kicked his suitcase underneath his bed and examined his handy work. Not too shabby if he did say so himself. "Hey Rox, did you want to-"

Sora turned and was greeted with an empty space that once contained his brother.

"He's something..." Sora grumbled to himself.

Roxas wasn't very shy. In fact, he enjoyed meeting and greeting new people. Although, that changed a bit when he was greeted with a happy looking woman amd gruff looking old man.

"Alright, so then that's all arranged?"

"I figure that will be alright." The strange voice commented as Roxas entered the hall.

Aerith laughed softly and a low gruff laugh soon followed her.

"I'm sure the boys will get along well. Roxas is a bit on the quiet side, but I'm sure he just needs a shove in the right direction."

"And Sora, well he gets along with everyone." Roxas's rolled his eyes as he entered the room.

Two sets of eyes followed him as he sat down at the table. "Roxas, you're finished?"

"I didn't have much, I learned quickly not to pack to heavily for this trip. The less the better, it's all going to get covered in pig slop anyways."

Aerith giggled and shook her head and a small smile curved onto Roxas face. Light blue eyes met dark blue eyes and Roxas found himself having a staring contest with the old man across the table. And well, not that it really mattered but, Roxas totally won. . "You must be Sora."

Aerith opened her mouth to correct the older man, but Roxas beat her too it.

"No, I'm fortunately not. My name is Roxas. Pleased to meet you, and you are?" Roxas held out his hand only to have it stared at with a confused expression.

"The names Sid, and if you're looking for money, I a'int got none." Roxas lowered his hand in slowly and slid it under the table.

Roxas could feel Sora coming down the stairs, his mood just radiated off of him, and his mood was always the same. "Good Evening, Aunt Aerith, Roxas, and hello there stranger, whome might you be?"

Roxas rolled his eyes, "That's not a polite way to ask someone their name, you're seventeen, haven't you learned any manners? Or are you still as improper as you always have been?"

Sora pouted, "Must you insult me every time I speak?"

Roxas snorted, "Maybe if you didn't talk I wouldn't."

"Maybe if you didn't insult me then I wouldn't have to talk as much as I am right now."

"Well, maybe if you didn't talk at all then I wouldn't have to insult you and then you wouldn't have to be talking right now."

Sid's head began to hurt as he followed the boys' conversation.

"Well, maybe if-"

"Boys," Aerith began, cutting off the brunette during his unneeded and pointless add into the argument. "Dinner is waiting."

The electricity between the twins was so thick that even Aerith could feel her hair sticking up on the back of her neck. Sora joined everyone at the table and began eating.

And Thus, the war began.

Roxas scooped one spoon of peas.

Sora, with a playful smirk on his face, scooped two.

Roxas, now irritated, scooped two more.

Sora grinned and scooped three more.

Half of Roxas's plate was full of peas.

Sora began dumping the entire bowl on his plate.

"Boys! There are other people at the table who would like some peas."

Sora apologized and placed the bowl in the center of the table. Roxas took that advantage to begin spooning his peas into his mouth.

Roxas actually hated peas, and he also knew that Sora did too. Yet, here both boys were shoving spoonfuls of peas down their throat like they had never eaten before in their lives.

"Well, you boys sure like your greens." Sid chuckled and looked at the teens whom were glaring at eachother intently and spooning peas into their mouths.

Roxas wanted the throw up, but instead he swallowed and ate more of the dreaded vegetable. Roxas refused to lose to Sora, and he had the sickening feeling that Sora felt the same way.

Spoons hit the table as the two boys stood to their feet simultaneously. "More Peas, please!" a set of voices called out in unison.

Aerith shook her head and sighed. "If you two eat anymore you'll get sick."

Roxas and Sora's eyes connected at the mention of sickness and the silent challenge was accepted by both parties. Roxas knew he was being immature, but when it came to beating the demon, he didn't care. Sora was going down. Period.

Aeirth sighed and stood, walking to the kitchen and grabbing another can of peas.

'First one to puke loses.'

Sora wasn't one to brag, but the sounds of Roxas emptying the contents of his stomach in the bathroom was just too much for him.

Sora was the victor, Roxas had began upchucking around his third plate of peas while Sora was still going strong on his fifth plate. What a Light-weight. Sora couldn't even imagine Roxas drunk.

Eventually after listening to Roxas lose his dinner for about ten minutes, Sora did the same. But he was still the victor, and he sure as hell wouldn't let Roxas live that one down. Even his children would know about 'the day your uncle puked out three plates of peas'. Sora totally had to write that one down.

Falling on to his bed in exhaustion, Sora sighed and turned to look out the window. This was his last vacation in this house. After this was university and then he would be out on his own. Sora was never really a nostalgic type, he always lived in the moment and never stopped to look behind him. He only looked to the future. But something about this house always made him a bit contradicting. Sora loved the home, it held memories that he never wanted to forget. Sora's father had grown up in this very home. There was sentimental value here! And Sora could basically feel the love.

A knock at the door pulled Sora out of his train of thought. Before he could give a consent to the opening of his door, blue met green as two sets of eyes connected in an instant.

"Uh, hello?" Sora said after the boy had studied him for more than a minute.

A long grueling minute.

"Anyone in there?"

Nothing.

"Guy with the gray hair!"

"It's silver."

"What?"

The man with the silver hair walked in to the room and set his bag in front of him, acting as if he hadn't just had a staring match with a confused looking brunette a few moments ago. "Sora, right? My name's Riku. We'll be rooming together this summer."

Sora rose an eyebrow at his new 'roomate'

"So uh, Riku. Who exactly are you?"

"My family is friends with Aerith. We come here every summer, except we come in June instead of July. This year we decided to switch it up. Meet new people."

"We?"

"My cousin and I," Riku responded, pulling out his clothes slowly out of his bag. Not caring enough to make eye contact with Sora as he spoke. "He's staying with your brother." Sora nodded slowly in understanding. "And what's his name?"

"The names Axel! You must be Roxas! We're going to be roomates this summer!"

Roxas rose and eyebrow at him and made and expression identical to Sora's. "Sora is sleeping down the hall. Room with him."

Axel chuckled. "I'm afraid you brother already has a roomate, so you're stuck with me, Roxy."

"Don't call me that." Roxas huffed and layed back on his bed. Just great. First he's stuck in a farm house with an evil person that is supposedly his twin, then he loses yet another food war to said supposedly and now he has to share a room with some guy whose hair is way to red to be natural and is so tall that he could reach up and easily touch the ceiling. Who ever was up there watching over Roxas, well thanks a lot.
