"So, (Y/N), where to first?" The Doctor smiled, releasing you from the hug. You stood there, bewildered.
"Wait, what?" You tracked his movements as his hand bounced from lever to lever. He stopped to glance at you with a serious expression.
"Where do you want to go? Anywhere in Time and Space, you can go." He nodded to the console. You walked up to the luminous panels and set your hands down gently.
"Shouldn't I tell my parents first? At least, leave them a note?" The Doctor stared at you as if you'd suggested the idea of living with some barracudas.
"Well, technically yes," He paused, thinking, then looked back at you with a signature smile. "But where's the fun in that?"
His smile was infectious, as one had attached itself to your face. He pulled down a lever and the TARDIS began to shake, you quickly grabbed onto a barrier and held on for dear life as the vehicle wobble and bounced, spinning in space.
The TARDIS jolted, a 'vworp' rang out signalling it had landed. You turned questioningly to the Doctor.
"Where are we?" You asked, glancing at the door. He gestured you towards it and you hesitantly obliged. The doors were pulled open and you stepped out, almost bumping into a plum-skinned woman with lime-green hair. "Doctor?"
"Callisto, one of the 67 moons of Jupiter." The Doctor answered, poking his head out the TARDIS. "1,880,000 kilometres away from Jupiter. Here, eat this."
He uncurled his hand and dropped a small, circular, orange pill onto your palm. You inspected it wearily. "What… What is it?"
"Oxygen tablet." He replied as if it was obvious. "This moon's atmosphere is pure Carbon Dioxide. Swallow that and you breathe in oxygen, breathe out CO2."
Trusting him, you slip the pill past your lips and dry swallow it. A big burst of oxygen fills your lungs, taking you by surprise. You cough, patting your chest to get the stinging sensation away from your organs.
"Alright?" You look up to see the Doctor leaning over you with worried eyes.
"Yeah, so, lead the way." He smiles and grabs your hand, pulling you down the shiny, cobbled street lined with colourful banners and stands.
I have no idea where I'm going with this. Sorry. :)
