The moment Allie realized she was falling, a scream escaped her lips. Fear instantly consuming her. Heights were a rather large issue for her and falling certainly wasn't helping.

Do not be afraid.

If her stomach wasn't in knots and doing flips, she would have let out another scream upon hearing a voice. Not only was everything dark, but she was fairly certain there wasn't anyone else around her. Yet there was a voice speaking to her and telling her not to be afraid. How could she not be afraid?! She was falling and at any moment she could possibly hit the bottom and die!

Wherever there is darkness, there is also light. So long as there is light, there is no need to be afraid.

As much as she wanted to yell at the mysterious voice, Allie couldn't even find her own voice. She may have been afraid of the dark when she was little, but as she grew older she quickly overcame that fear.

Before another thought could pass through her mind, a small light shone from below. The closer Allie fell to the light, the brighter it became. However, as she fell closer to the light, the slower she seemed to fall.

Allie was thankful that she wasn't fall as fast as she had been earlier. Though, her stomach was still twisted into knots and doing flips.

Soon enough, she had to close her eyes due to the brightness of the light.

It was only after what felt like an eternity she stopped falling. With her feet touching the ground as feeling of relief filled the place of her fear. Taking a deep breath, Allie opened her eyes to take a look around. What she saw a complete surprise and shocked her; all around her were beacons of light, representations of each world, showing various events that were currently happening.

Beneath her feet was a large stone island surrounded by water. Within the water she could make out various stones glowing both white and black. "This place is amazing…" Her words echoed for a moment before dying down.

"Indeed, this place is amazing, Guide of Heart." Three voices spoke clearly in unity. The voice surprised Allie, causing her to yelp out and jump in surprise. She hadn't expected to hear anyone. Catching her balance before she tripped over her own feet, she quickly looked around. Her gaze came to a stop when she spotted three cloaked figures that she hadn't noticed before.

With her heart beating quickly against her chest, Allie stared wide-eyed at the three figures. It took her a few seconds to realize they each wore a different cloak. The one on the left wore a long white cloak, the one on the right wore a long black cloak, and the one in the middle wore a long black and white swirled cloak.

It took Allie a moment to find her voice as the three figures watched her, remaining eerily silent. "Who are you? And…and where am I?"

"We are nothing and everything." Once again the three figures spoke in unison. "As for our location, we are in the center of the realms in between. It is a place hidden to outsiders, unless we permit access to them."

"That… that doesn't make any sense!" Allie said, shaking her head. "It's a dream…This is all just a dream, that's why it doesn't make any sense."

"Dear Guide, we can assure you that this is no dream. The path of three has been tampered with and we need you to fix the path of three."

"What? Why me? Can't you three fix it?"

"Unless it concerns the fate of all realms, we are not allowed it interfere with the issue. You are a Guide of Heart and thus allowed to interfere."

"Yup and the only time that would make sense would be in a dream."

"Perhaps the start of your journey will convince you this is not a dream." With those words said, the water around the stone circle began to ripple. This effect caused all but one pillar of light to dim. The next thing Allie saw was the brightest pillar speeding towards her.

LINE BREAK

It was the perfect night for three friends as they watched the stars along with the fading meteor shower. The calm night was one that could last forever. However, nothing can last forever and the moment came to an end just like the meteor shower. Standing up, the only girl of the trio, Aqua, started to speak of the exam that Terra and her had to face tomorrow.

Smiling at her two friends, he handed both of them a star shaped charm. As they all held the charms, Aqua told the story of a star shaped fruit that she based the charms on. When her story came to an end, a lone meteor entered the sky. Yet it was only when the meteor started to fall towards them, that the three took notice. It was unusual for a meteor to fall into the world, though not entirely uncommon at times. However, as the meteor grew closer, it was clear that it was not a meteor.

"Terra, Ven, come on we need to move!" Aqua spoke with urgency as she turned her gaze away from the meteor and to her two friends. Her words seemed to snap the two boys out a daze as they looked at her, nodding their heads. Without another word said, the three quickly ran away from the meteors direction.

Before long, the ground shook indication the meteor had landed frantically. As the ground calmed down, the three friends turned around to look in the direction they had come from. The dirt that had become unearthed due to the meteor clouded the landing sight.

When the dirt finally settled, Ven was the first to move. Carefully, and watching each of his steps, Ven walked towards the meteor crash. It was only when he was a foot away from the hole the meteor had made in the ground that he stopped. Ven glanced behind, looking at Aqua and Terra for a moment before turning his gaze back to the hole.

"…Aqua? Terra? I think you should see this…"

Hearing their names, Aqua and Terra looked at one another before looking back to Ven. Moving in tandem, they carefully made their way down to where Ven stood and only stopped once they reached his side. The two older teens looked at Ven before glancing down into the hole.

Within the hole, there was no meteor. Instead, there was a girl encased in a clear crystal. "I think we should get Master Eraqus…" Spoke Aqua as she looked to the two boys beside her. This simple night had taken a rather strange turn and unbeknown to the three friends their lives would soon change in ways they would never expect.
