Hey Guys,
Sorry for the long wait.
Thanks to BatmanSwim2016 and Kankananime123 for their awesome comments. I had to admit, I was rather shock at the lack of SaboxOC fanfics out there. I thought there would be more o.o; Anyway, because of their awesome comments, I've decided to continue on writing SaboxOC oneshots entailing clippets of their lives together! Kankananime123, do not worry! Your request is being processed. I just have to think about it and get to writing it. (Just on a side note: did you mean when Sabo and Kyou met again as adults or when they first met?)
As always, review and criticize. Let me know what you want and don't want! I won't bite or be mad at you. Promise!
Disclaimer: I do not own One Piece, just the OC, Lovell Kyou(ko)
Summary: Kyou's eating habits are called into attention and Kyou finds herself at a bind as she tries her best to eat 'more like a lady'. How long can she last before she's finally caves in for food. Can she even last?
Eating Disorder
"Urgh... Kyou, stop!" Koala groaned in disgust as she liked up her hands to block the sight before her. Kyou started back at her, the food stuffed into her mouth as she listened to Koala's plead in confusion. "You're eating too much... It makes me sick just looking at you... Where does all that did go... Aren't you a lady?"
(。ŏ﹏ŏ)
Feet scraped across the side pavement as Kyou dragged her exhausted self through town. Her knees caved inwards as she leaned all of her weight on the rickety stick she had managed to find. It wasn't so much a stick as it was a metal pipe. And she didn't find it. She had stolen the piece from a nearby house. But none of those small details mattered at the moment. What mattered was what was causing the usually fine swordswomam to become so weak. So weak that the youth needed a pipe to walk with.
But Kyou wasn't injured. Her pale skin was perfect as usual, free from any bruising or blemishes of any kind. Her clothes weren't ripped or covered in dirt either and neither was anything else she owned, well, maybe except for her boots which she was dragging through the ground. All in all, Kyou looked perfectly fine. She would looked like the epitome of a healthy young woman if it wasn't for the expression she wore on her face or her collapsing posture. Kyou's eyes were glossed over and her cheeks sunken in. Her mouth was slightly parted just enough to allow fresh air to fill her lungs and slip back out. Her shoulders were hunched up as she pulled herself forward with her bowed knees. Kyou looked like death and did she feel like it.
"Fooooodd..." Kyou groaned in agreement with her gurgling stomach. Ever since Koala had told her that she ate like a fat male who had been deprived of food for two months, she had been insulted into trying to eat more ladylike, but she found herself unable to be satisfied with the tiny portions that normal women ate. It was just so little! "I'm going to die at this rate." She groaned, letting her head hang down as it leaned against her hands still gripping the pipe.
The smell of fresh baked specialty breads filled the air around the noble, filling her mind with delicious puff pastries. Her mouth unconsciously began to water at the thought of diving into the bakery and stuffing her face with everything they had. Kyou was actively planning on it when Koala's words ran through her mind.
"You'll become fat if you keep eating like this!"
Kyou slumped down, her knees hitting the pavement as she sat down, unable to keep herself up anymore. She leaned on the metal pipe gripped by her in depression. She didn't want to be fat. She wanted to be thin, not anorexic thin, but thin enough to still have nice curves. She had a man to impress if she wanted to win him. But why, why did it have to be so hard? Why did food have to be so alluring? Kyou sniffled lightly as she brought her head up from hanging.
Her brown eyes widened in shock at the things around her. There was food everywhere! Everything was made out of it, and some was even moving. "Fooooood!" Kyou shouted happily.
"Kyaa!" A scream from the mashed potato standing next to a roast beef slowly brought Kyou back to reality. The image of mashed potato slowly distort until it was replaced by a young girl, clinging onto her boyfriend who had been a slab of roast beef. The two of them were staring at the girl who was clinging onto the maiden's hem drooling slightly.
"I-I'm sorry!" Kyou stuttered, her face inflamed as she bowed to the couple for her actions quickly. The couple scurried away as soon as they were allowed, but not before calling her a 'freak'. Kyou glanced at the town around her and slowly the food that once flooded the place was slowly being replaced by normal everyday objects. The banana chocolate chip muffin reverted back into a table. The rotisserie chicken walking a hot dog turned back into a large man taking a stroll with his dog. The hard mint candy being pulled by two spring rolls were a large carriage and a pair of horses. "I'm going crazy." Kyou concluded with a sigh. Her head fell down to look at the ground once more while her stomach grumbled at the lack of food for it to digest.
"I know you're hungry, so am I." Kyou muttered as she placed a comforting hand over her empty stomach. If she didn't get any food soon, Kyou would be left with a concave stomach. She swore she could feel her stomach nibbling away at her insides for food with each waking moment. "I need food..." Kyou groaned slightly too loud. She smiled sheepishly at the turned head towards her. "Sorry..."
(*゚∀゚)
Glancing at her watch, Kyou finally made it to the one hour mark since she had last eaten. A smile graced her thin features as she punched a fist into the air, proud of her triumph. "Now was a reward... I get to eat!" She concluded happily, but she didn't move. Seconds later, the once happy girl dropped her head again before running her hands through her hair, messing it up. "What am I talking about! It's only been an hour!" Kyou scolded herself or she attempted to.
Her mind and thoughts were deliciously distracted by the wafting smell of something deliciously baked. Sticking her nose into the air, Kyou inhaled deeply, letting the warm smell fill her hungry lungs. "Pizza!" Kyou identified and a drop of drool pool at the corners of her pink lips. Her navy blue head snapped left towards the source of the smell. Not even a moment later, Kyou was gone, running off towards the source of the heavenly smell with only one thought on her mind-Food! Real Food!
(*´﹃`*)
"Where's my food? I'm almost out!" An ill-mannered voice demanded through the food already stuffed into her face. Sitting on the table was none other than Jewelry Bonney. The pirate with the epithet of 'Big Eater' and she did not fail to live up to that name. Several stacks of plates rose like towers around the pink-haired glutton. Her eyes caught sight of a slice of pizza she had somehow missed. Bonney stuffed the rest of the food in her hands into her mouth, barely chewing before she grabbed the neglected slice. She wasn't the only one who grabbed into the slice though. Another hand had landed on the pizza. "Let go of my pizza!" Bonney ordered the hand.
"No," Came its reply and the crew behind Bonney froze. Someone had tried to get in between their captain and her food!
"What did you say?" Bonney asked warningly. Her eating had slowed, but it didn't cease.
"I said 'no'. I'm starving and you have so much food already." Kyou responded her eyes locked onto the violet eyes of one of the Worst Generation. There was no fear in either of their eyes, only determination. Determination to eat the food in their hands.
"So I should give this slice of pizza to you?" Bonney rephrased as if trying to understand the simple words coming from the noble's lips. Her shoulders shook as she tried to restrain her anger. The pizza was hers. She had paid for it! Why should she have to share it with anyone? Actually, she was a pirate, why did she have to share anything with anyone? "As if!" Bonney shouted, her purple eyes gleaming.
"Huh?" Was all that came from Kyou's mouth as she felt herself suddenly falling, the pizza falling from her grip.

Where is that lady? Kyou thought as she trudged through the now much larger city. To think that that lady had a devil fruit ability! And this of all kinds of ability! Kyou scolded herself mentally for being unprepared as she continued to search for the woman.
Feeling her oversized clothing slipping off her suddenly small frame yet again, Kyou stopped by a nearby store, taking in her appearance as she undid the knots that held up her clothes and redid them tighter than before. Kyou had been turned into a child! Her once waist length navy blue hair was now only reaching to her shoulders and it framed her small baby face. Her chest had almost all but disappeared along with her height. The only thing that didn't change was her clothes, which now hung loosely off her body in an attempt to cover herself. The white bandeau that usually covered her chest was now a short skirt and knee high socks doubled as stockings. Her top half was covered by the large square scarf she usually wore. Kyou had moved it into a triangle and tied it around her torso, then fastened it with the belt she usually wore. The only thing that remained where it usually did was her vest; she didn't know what else to do with it.
Checking herself once over to ensure that everything was in place, Kyou grabbed her rapier and ran down the streets with greater vigor than before. She wanted to be back to her old self! It was strange seeing an child reflection as herself. Kyou was 21 not some ten year old kid, or whatever age the pirate made her to be. "Damn it, where are you?" Kyou glanced at the intersection, unsure which way to go. Mumbling profanities under her breath, she tested her luck and turned left.
It wasn't long before she ran into someone or rather bounced off of someone.
"That hurts!" Kyou announced bitterly as she rubbed her aching bottom. She snapped her head towards her assaulter, yelling 'child abuse'. Her eyes landed on a pair of combat boots. They look very familiar. It reminded her of the ones that were issued by the revolutionaries. Looking up, her eyes took in the blue vest, and a burn scar before landing on a head of blond. Kyou felt her throat constrict in response to the male before her. The man she had just insulted was none other than the man she wanted to impress... Sabo!
"Are you alright?" Sabo chuckled, reaching down to pick up the fallen girl. His eyes landed on the beautiful rapier trapped under the girl's hand as he did so. "Where did you get that?" He asked pointing to the sword he recognized all too well. Instantly, the sword disappeared from its spot on the ground. The girl held her arms around the thin blade, trying to hide it in her small body, but failing to do so as it poked out from her head as she remained sitting, wrapping her body around the sword. "I can still see it, you know." Sabo announced and the girl's brown eyes widened slightly before returning to their normal size as she turned to the side as if that would solve the problem. Sabo stifled a laugh at her childish attempt. His eyes narrowed as he studied the familiar girl before him, studying her features instead.
"You look very familiar." Kyou could feel the beads of sweat rolling down her skin as she sat there under Sabo's suspecting glare. Closing her eyes tight, Kyou hoped that Sabo wouldn't recognized her. They had been childhood friends so he might make her, but at this age, Kyou was already adopted and been living with the nobles for some time so there was also the possibility that Sabo wouldn't recognize her.
Kyou's eyes snapped open as she felt her sword slipping out of its sheath without her permission. Immediately, Kyou got out of her position and tried to grab her blade only to realize it was too late. Sabo had already taken it from her. Kyou's hand tightened around the sheath and she yelled at the male before her. "Return to me Ryuusuke, Sabo!"
"'Ryuusuke'? 'Sabo'? How'd you know Kyou's sword's name and my name...?" Kyou slapped her hand over her mouth in realization at the names she just called. She didn't dare move as the male squat down until they were of eye-level and glanced at the girl before her. His eyes widen slightly in recognition. "K-Kyou?!"
(・・;)
Laughter filled the air as the second chief in command listened to Kyou's dilemma. "You tried to take food away from 'Big Eater' Bonney?" At that he laughed even louder. "You know her favorite food is pizza right?" Kyou wish she could shrink more than she already had as the larger grew louder.
"Shut up..." Kyou mumbled to no avail. Her tiny face flushed red as she focused her glare into a tiny pebble on the ground. Her embarrassment was as clear as her attempt to set the tiny rock on fire with nothing but her glare. When it didn't work, she settle with kicking the tiny thing.
"It's not my fault that I didn't know who she is." Kyou started, mumbling the words out of her pouting lips. She wasn't a pirate, so why would she know who Bonney was?
"But she's pretty popular." Sabo teased, enjoying the way the girl's red face depended. She was practically fuming in her tiny body. Deciding to give his childhood friend a break, Sabo placed his hands underneath her and and hosted her above him to sit on his shoulders.
"Huh? W-What are you doing?" Kyou shouted as she flung her arms around the top hat Sabo always wore. Her attention flew towards the ground below her and her face paled. The ground looked so far away. Kyou swallowed the lump forming in her throat and her arms gripped tighter against the hat. The fencer pried her eyes away from the distant grounds, focusing straight before her as she tried to convince herself that she wasn't so far from the ground.
"Come on, let's go find Bonney." Sabo's received a shriek in response from the girl sitting on his shoulders as he dashed off.
(¯―¯٥)
"And what exactly did you think was going to happen when you find her?" Koala scolded, her arms were folded across her chest as she leaned down towards the two midgets.
Koala wasn't the only one pissed. Kyou stood in a similar position to Koala's; arms crossed and her feet tapping against the ground, harmonizing with Koala's rants which were now more directed towards Sabo.
Sabo wasn't exactly the same as he was when he started the search for Bonney. It didn't take long for him to find the pink-haired pirate; scouting and tracking came as part of the job as a revolutionary. The difficulties came when they found the well-known pirate captain. She wasn't too keen on taking orders from Sabo or helping them either actually. She was much more interested in getting rid shrinking them. Sabo stood under the heated glare of his subordinate as she continued to scold him for his idiocy. But he wasn't fazed by her nags, in fact, he was used to it by now. Koala always complained about him and his works. Instead the boy, who was now three feet tall, and clutching his oversized and falling pants glanced towards the side, away from the nagging woman.
His eyes landed on his pouting partner. Kyou always hated to be scolded or to be caught in the wrong. So, whenever she was caught in these situations which were more often than Kyou would like, she would pout and act as if it didn't concern her. It was a childish act, but it was just like Kyou and Sabo couldn't find himself grinning at the sight.
"Hey, are you even listening to me?" Koala questioned, pausing slightly in her lecture of how he shouldn't just go around doing things by himself. Sabo was playing with his belt now.
A tug on Kyou's arm brought the impatient girl from her thoughts. "Ne, want to get out of here?" Sabo questioned and his grin deepend, revealing a missing tooth. He really looked like he did when he was ten. Even the familiar up-to-no-good glint was back in his eyes. "I know a good place where we can get something to eat."
Kyou's arms easily slipped free with another tug from Sabo. A smile spread across her face at the mention of food. She was starving! With a simple excited nodd, Sabo pulled her into a run. Following his lead, Kyou grabbed her trusty rapier while Sabo reached for always too long pipe.
"FOOOOD!" Kyou cried joyfully as she ran out with the boy. Koala's shouts in the background only added to the nostalgic feelings rushing through the fencer.
I hope you guys enjoyed it. This one was more so for humor so let me know how you guys thought it went. Did you guys laugh?
As always review and don't be afraid to say your actual feelings!
