After punishing Kise, they all started arguing about where they were going to sit. At the end, they finally made a decision. Kasamatsu was driving with Riko next to him. Hyuga and Kiyoshi sat behind them in the passenger seats of the truck. Everybody else settled down in the RV. They weren't all going to fit in to sleep in properly. Most of them would have to sleep outside and luckily, it shouldn't be too cold in the outskirts. Once they were sure about everything, they finally took off.
In the RV...
Ever since the Winter Cup, everybody has gotten closer to each other. They all hung out often at the same court they all play basketball. That was the only place everybody was present. All of the first years would even go out to eat at Maji Burgers. Aomine wouldn't admit that Kagami was a friend, but he always enjoyed playing basketball thanks to him.
"What should we talk about other than basketball?!" Momoi asked
They were all clueless about any other subject other than basketball. The last time they tried that, it turned out to be a disaster.
"We always talk about basketball." Kuroko admitted, they all knew very well that too.
"Basketballs the only thing we all have in common." Aomine bluntly stated which none denied.
"That is what got us close." Takao said
"He's right maybe for once." Midorima said
"Anw, Shin-chan does-"
"Be quiet."
"He's actually right for once." Kagami added
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Aomine retorted back, but the ace of Seirin ignored it.
"Tetsuya and Daiki are right however." Akashi finally said.
"It's a good thing Taiga and I came back to Japan. What would it be like?" Himuro randomly blurted.
"Tetsu-kun would of never found a new light." Momoi said clinging onto her boyfriend's arm.
"You guys would never be back to the way you were." Kuroko honestly admitted.
"I wouldn't have many snacks!" Murasakibara's eyes sparkled as they sweat dropped.
"I'm glad" Akashi said giving a genuine smile, it was always a rare sight seeing that.
Of course, Akashi Seijuro could smile, but someone would be making him smile more and make him enjoy life more than ever. They were also all grateful to Kagami, he was the one who fixed their friendship.
CRASH!
"What the f*uck me just happened?!" Aomine shockingly said.
"Daiki" Akashi warned him of his use of language.
"Is everyone okay?" He asked making sure they were all safe.
Everyone gave him a sign that they were safe. The door suddenly opened revealing Kasamatsu.
"Is everyone okay?!" He first asked when he opened the door.
He made sure to look at each one of them. Akashi assured him that were fine. They all started bombarding Kasamatsu with plenty of questions about the situation.
"Calm down, he can't all answer your questions. Let him talk." Akashi immediately intervened as his senpai thanked him.
They all came out of the RV to see that they had crashed against a pole. Luckily, nobody was injured from the accident. They all saw Seirin's second years inspecting around the truck.
"I lost control all of a sudden. There might be something wrong with the engine. We're lucky it wasn't something too serious, but we won't be able to move. We are currently in the middle of nowhere, but I'm certain we're in Tokyo." Kasamatsu finished explaining.
Currently, Hyuga and Kiyoshi were trying to look in the truck to see what was the problem. At the end, they failed to do so.
"It's odd that it would stop suddenly." Kuroko said.
"That's awful!" Momoi commented, now all worried.
"Did anyone bring a device?!" Kiyoshi asked out of the blues.
They all left them home. They were all getting their hopes high when Kise brought out his phone, but there was no service, at all. They were doomed, they all thought. For once, Kise could of maybe save the day. But forget that.
"What the heck are we supposed to do now!" Kagami said frustratedly.
"We can't move in this condition, so we'll camp out here tonight." Akashi said
No one disobeyed him. It was starting to get dark. It was looked like it was 5.
"We'll be move out tomorrow morning"
...
They all wanted to try moving on, but Akashi was right. It was best to do so tomorrow morning. Not to mention, they were in the middle of nowhere. Not sure where they were exactly. Even Akashi didn't know where they had stopped. If he did, they wouldn't be stuck here. Unfortunately, they did not bring a map and Kasamatsu was no longer sure with his directions after that crash.
"First, we're going to have to move out of the road. We can't just leave it here." Riko pointed out.
"It's to bad cars don't pass by here -ssu." Kise said.
"We also have another problem, it's impossible to bring all of our luggages. We'll have to leave some things behind." Kasamatsu proved a point, it was way to much.
Everyone left a few things behind them. Midorima had the hardest time. Aomine and Kagami had to break his lucky item. Today's lucky item was a koala statue. He couldn't afford to lose his lucky items after today.
After doing some smashing, here came the trickier part. Pulling the truck and RV out of the way. They were somehow glad Midorima had brought a rope. It was his lucky item for tomorrow. The two boys were about to throw it away until Akashi told them it was actually useful. Half of them were pulling with the other half supporting them by pushing from behind.
It took them about an hour to find a spot to camp up for the night. It was going to take at least a day to get back on track.
...
"Its almost time to eat!" Hyuga yelled out loud for everyone to hear.
Kagami and Himuro were responsible for cooking, since the others couldn't really cook to save their lives. However, Momoi and Riko were the worst out of the bunch. There was no way they would let them cook. They couldn't even make honey soaked lemons! It took time for them to cook since they were 14 people eating. The two girls started serving them tonight's food, which was simple curry. Kagami, with the big appetite, wanted more, but they had to save food just in case. He sure was lucky, since not all of them could finish their portion of food like Kuroko.
They all continued unpacking for the night. They wanted to save their energy for tomorrow. They had no time to lose. They were all going to sleep early. First, they had to decide on the night schedule. Not everyone could sleep in the RV. They needed people to stay on watch, they couldn't let their guard down. They were in an unknown area, anything could happen. The boys decided to play a game of rock-paper-scissors to determine where they would sleep. They decided to let Momoi and Riko sleep in the RV. Two people were to at least be on watch in case if something happened. At the end, Akashi and Midorima won. Meaning that they would be sleeping the RV peacefully. There were four beds in the RV. Hyuga and Kuroko lost, but their girlfriends wanted them by their side. Leaving the rest outside. Kiyoshi got the trunk of the truck. Aomine, Himuro, Kise, Kasamatsu and Murasakibara were sleeping outside. Meaning Kagami and Takao lost for the night. They were lucky that they get to at least alternate with Aomine and Kise for an hour at least.
With Kagami and Takao...
"I really suck at a game of rock-paper-scissors. I never win against Shin-chan." Takao bluntly said.
"Kuroko usually loses. I bet he would be her guarding! But Momoi wanted him by her side." Kagami tried not to grumble to loud.
"Well, in a situation like this, she'll want her boyfriend. At least we'll have an hour." Takao said.
Takao would love to joke around, but he couldn't.
"We'll get home right?!" Takao randomly asked, Kagami didn't expect him to ask such a question like that.
"Of course we are!" He accidently yelled out loud.
Luckily, he didn't wake anybody up.
"I felt kind of nervous for nothing. I hope we reach somewhere tomorrow" Takao smiled.
"Yeah, we better. I don't want to spend the rest of my life like this without some basketball." Kagami frowned at what he said.
"Who wouldn't?"
They conversed until that last hour arrived for them to sleep. They swapped places with Aomine and Kise. It took some time to get Aomine to wake up.
With Aomine and Kise...
"I wish I could sleep more." Aomine yawned out.
"Akashicchi would kill you!" Kise said horrified of what Akashi could do.
Aomine gulped at the possibilities of what his old captain could do. It was best for him not to fall back asleep.
