Yes, I know I'm late. I'm really sorry about that. Excuses include sickness and plain ole procrastination and laziness.

Chapter 2
After a long car ride full of angry silence and loud music, the Winchesters made it to the town in Massachusetts where the prison was. And more importantly, Elizabeth.
Apparently, Elizabeth was in prison for several charges of breaking and entering and one murder. Both brothers believed that it was just a mistake, that Eli had been hunting something that looked like a human and she had been caught. But that belief was based off of the brother's knowledge of their little sister's character. But when she was grieving, who knew what could happen.
That's why the Winchester brothers were nervous. They had no idea how or if she had changed at all over the time that she had spent away from them. Dean really hoped that Eli could forgive him for leaving her alone, out with the monsters while he played house. He had to add that to the list of many regrets he had. He also hoped that Sam could forgive him. It really hurt him to know that his family was angry at him for his stupid mistakes that he made in the midst of the grief and pain that clouded his vision after they had stopped the apocalypse. He didn't know what he was doing and neither had Elizabeth.
Sam was angry. Not only at Dean, but at himself. Why hadn't he tried to go find Eli sooner? Even if he was soulless, that should have been his number one priority, to find and protect his little sister. He had no idea what had happened over that time, Dean wouldn't tell him anything. But he knew that he should have questioned right away where his little sister was. As far as he knew, though, he hadn't brought her up at all.
The boys headed into their motel room, dropping their things on their beds. They didn't speak, just worked. They hadn't spoken too much over the car ride and during the researching. It helped them avoid fighting. Whenever they spoke too much about their current situation, they ended up having a screaming match about the wellbeing of their sister. Both brothers knew full well that Eli wouldn't want it to be like that, despite where she was or what she was doing, but she wasn't here at the moment. That meant that they could yell to their heart's content.
"So what's the plan?" Dean asked Sam after they had gotten settled.
"I don't know. We have to break her out." Sam answered.
Dean rolled his eyes, "Well, yeah. That was a given. I mean, how are we gonna get her out of prison."
Sam thought for a second, unsure of how to go about this. It wasn't like they broke people out of prison every day. Hunting demons, ghosts, and monsters, yes. But prison breaks, not so much.
"We could ask Cas to help." Sam suggested.
"Yeah, like he's so much help recently." Dean replied sarcastically. Cas had been busy with the angel war up in heaven. A civil war had broken out upstairs not too long after the apocalypse had been stopped. Cas had been so occupied with that, so he hadn't been able to help out much with the brothers' problems. Dean wasn't angry about the lack of angel power as much as he was about the lack of information that Cas had given them. Whenever they asked, he just conveniently had to speed off or he would give some vague explanation. Cas knew that they could help, but for some reason, he wanted them out of this fight.
"I think I have an idea." Dean said suddenly.
"Will it work?" Sam questioned. Just because Dean had thought of something didn't mean it was a fool-proof plan. Sometimes, it meant the exact opposite.
"Maybe. But it's sure to be interesting." Dean responded truthfully.
