Alexis lay on the heap of cloths Demolisher had generously provided for her bed, mulling over her situation. Not only was she a Decepticon prisoner but she was apparently going to be Demolisher's pet, something she did not understand in the slightest. He'd asked to keep her rather than let Megatron ransom her for Minicons and bizarrely, Megatron had agreed.
Judging by the look on Megatron's face, he thought the whole thing was funny, a trick he could play on Optimus. Cyclonus and Starscream didn't seem terribly concerned where she stayed or not, although Cyclonus would probably derive a lot of amusement from her presence. He always seemed to be cackling over something so she'd need to watch out for him in case he tried anything, like mean pranks. Apart from that however, he and the other Decepticons were not interested in her.
So just why did Demolisher want to keep her? As far as she knew, he'd never shown an interest in any of the kids, especially her. And yet here she was after he'd captured her and spirited her away. It just didn't make sense; she could not wrap her head around it.
"This is crazy," she muttered, suddenly sitting up. "This whole thing is crazy."
The situation was indeed crazy but she couldn't just sit around here waiting for Demolisher to come back. Even if she couldn't escape, she should at least take stock of her prison, it certainly wouldn't hurt. So she got up, stretched and padded to the edge of the table Demolisher had placed her on. She grimaced at the distance to the floor, simply jumping down was out of the question.
"Okay, must be another way down," he muttered to herself glancing about the place.
There didn't seem to be any way getting immediately down but she did notice that the table was placed very close to a shelf. Looking along the line of the shelf, she saw that near the end of it there was a box just below it. That route appeared to be her best bet for getting down to the floor so she hurried over to shelf and reached up to grab the edge.
With effort, she pulled herself up, managing to get an arm over and dragging herself half way up. She panted slightly and let herself rest for a moment before pulling herself all the way up. Pushing herself up from her knees, she glanced at floor of the shelf, seeing that it was covered in odds and ends she'd have to dodge or climb over.
She spent the next few minutes making her way across the shelf, clambering over the random junk, some of it rather coated in dust. This made her sigh, she was going to be rather filthy by the time this was over, if she was forced to stay here, she hoped Demolisher built her some kind of bathroom.
"Almost there," she said encouragingly to herself, this whole place was so quiet she felt she had to speak just to hear something.
Finally after clambering over a relatively clean box, she made it to the end of the long shelf. It was hard to tell how long all that had taken her but it was still better than lying around waiting for Demolisher to show up.
"Now, just gotta jump down here," she muttered to herself, eying the box down below her. She sat down on the edge before lowering herself and turning to grip the shelf edge before dropping down to the box, carefully bending her knees as she landed.
"Ah, I did it," she said proudly, taking a step forward before yelping as her foot plunged right through the rusted material.
"Damn it," she gasped, feeling the sharp edge gazing her leg before she was able to pull it out.
"Damn, damn," she cursed as she saw blood rapidly staining the leggings of her jump suit.
She pulled a handkerchief from a pocket and patted at the cut before giving up and tying it around her leg. How she wished that this place wasn't so dirty, she could easily get an infection since there didn't appear to be any proper way to wash up. Her leg stung horrible and the makeshift bandage didn't appear to be doing a great job but it was all she had.
Hobbling, she made her way over to the door, hoping there would be some way to get out. Of course, the door didn't open at her approach but she wasn't put off. This place was falling apart so badly, there was bound to be another way out. Thankfully, she had a stroke of luck and found a hole in the wall near the door and she could just get through it. Outside was just as decrepit as Demolisher's room but the floor was slightly less dusty due to large robots walking across it.
She listened but couldn't hear anyone meaning she was safe for now. But unfortunately, she had no which direction she should take, everything looked the same.
"Swell," she sighed and decided to just randomly go down the left hand corridor, hoping it would take her to the Warp gate.
"Ow...ow," she couldn't help but mutter as each step brought a sharp stab of pain through her leg, she almost couldn't use it. But she wanted to explore and she wanted to see if it were possible to escape, there was no point in hanging around waiting for Demolisher to show up.
She wondered what the others were up to, if Demolisher was on Earth, she couldn't imagine any of them going with them. So they must be hanging around this base but hopefully she should hear them and be able to hide before any of them caught her. Since they had no idea she was out and about, they wouldn't bother to hide their presence when moving about the base.
"The only problem might be the Minicons," she mumbled to herself, their beeps were loud but they could walk pretty softly when they wanted to. Still, it was worth the rest of being caught, even though her leg was still stinging furiously.
Looking up, she saw she was approached a corner and slowed to listen. She couldn't hear anything so she approached it and peered cautiously around it. Before her was another empty, dusty corridor that was ridiculously long and high, reminding her just how small she was. She shivered, she was like a little mouse in a giant house and she wasn't even armoured like the Minicons.
As she stumbled along, she realised that it was extremely chilly as well as dirty. She rubbed at her arms; she could do with a new set of clothes. Even if Demolisher washed the outfit she was wearing, what was she meant to wear while he did so?
"I'm really not going to enjoy this," she muttered heading along the new corridor. "They're a bunch of male robots who I doubt have ever had any experience with girls, let alone organic ones."
Even the Autobots had some learning to do and she at least trusted them to learn. The Decepticons on the other hand...
"What are you doing here?"
...she didn't.
"Nothing," she said automatically coming to a stop and staring up at the winged red form of Starscream.
"What is that?" he demanded, gesturing at the dark stain on her leg.
"Nothing," she repeated quickly, wincing a little.
"Are you leaking?" he said, bending down and narrowing his optics at her. She was reminded of the first time she'd met him when he'd loomed over her and Sureshock before attempting to grab her. That had been rather scary before one of the Autobots had intervened and she'd been able to escape.
"A little," she now admitted. "It's nothing, it'll be fine."
Still squinting at her, he asked. "Why are you out here, wandering about? Are you attempting to escape?"
"No, I'm just having a walk," she said honestly. "Is that a problem?"
"Demolisher let you wander about?" he asked in a tone that suggested he did not believe this.
"Sure," she said, looking squarely up at him.
"I don't believe you," he declared, suddenly reaching for her and grabbing her.
"Hey, you don't have to be so rough," she exclaimed, arms pushing at the top of his hand as he lifted her up.
He ignored her and started walking back down the corridor he'd come. She sighed, there was no point in struggling and she really didn't feel like it. As expected, he took her to Megatron's throne room where the large mech appeared to be brooding. There was no sign of Demolisher or Cyclonus.
"What do you want Starscream?" Megatron asked in a bored tone.
"I found Demolisher's pet roving around," the Seeker replied, holding her out for inspection.
Megatron frowned and raised himself up.
"What are you doing outside of Demolisher's quarters?" he demanded of her.
"I was just having a walk," she said in exasperation. "Why's that such a problem?"
Before he could answer, his optics suddenly focused on the hand holding her. Gesturing, he said.
"What is that?"
"Huh?" Starscream said, raising his hand and seeing a little trail of blood on one of his fingers. "Urgh, you're leaking all over me."
"Sorry," she grimaced, she wasn't feeling so good. "I cut my leg."
Starscream looked disgusted as he turned his hand and opened his fingers so she was sitting on his palm.
"Where is Demolisher, he should deal with this," the Seeker declared.
"He is on Earth," Megatron replied. "Collecting supplies for his little pet."
Alexis scowled at this and Megatron caught this. Smirking he said.
"I hope you are going to be good for Demolisher, he is a good soldier."
"I'll do my best," she said sarcastically, feeling her leg continue to sting.
"Good," he said before contacting his Decepticon.
"Demolisher, come back now to deal with your pet."
"Your master should be here shortly," he informed the young organic Femme. "He can decide whether or not you should have been wandering about."
"Oh good," she muttered to herself, hoping Demolisher would have some proper supplies. Her leg really needed something.
Author's note. Demolisher returns, how does he react and does he have anything for Alexis? Find out next time, until then.
