A/N I was a bit miffed that there weren't any stories of this pairing, so I wrote one.

Having convinced Princess Zelda to not send him back in time, Link was rather happy. He had restored the peace to the land and now all he had to do was maintain it. And that was easier than the restoration. With Ganondorf sealed away, there was little chance of true evil sending the land into chaos again. He had been sent a message from Nabooru that there was something amiss in the Spirit Temple. He set out to see what was troubling the Sage. After all, it was his favorite temple. Well maybe not to free from the evil it had been under...

He was on his way to the chamber that had been the headquarters for Twinrova. He was halfway through the antechamber, where Nabooru had been brainwashed and fought him, when he found himself pushed up against one of the pillars. Warm lips captured his, a familar scent sending his heart into a frenzy.

Nabooru took a step back, still very close, and her flame orange eyes locked with his crystal blues. Her thumb glanced across his lips and neck as her hand slid down to rest against his chest. His heart slammed against her palm, threatening to burst from his chest. Their locked gaze never waivered,

Her other hand slipped under his tunic, running her fingertips along his sculptured torso. His hands drifted to her waist and he initiated the next kiss. She readily deepened the kiss and smiled to herself. The boy- excuse her Hero of Time- may know how to fight, but he was rather clueless in terms of romance. The hero broke the kiss when the need from air became life threatening. Nabooru didn't move except to slip her arms around his waist and lean into his strong frame. His heart thumped contently, albeit a bit fast, against her ear. She sighed and relaxed.

"Take me with you." Nabooru looked up to the hero, whom was a few inches taller than herself.

"Where? I'm not going anywhere."

"I want to see all of Hyrule."

"What about you duties as Sage of Spirit?"

"I cannot protect a land that I do not know. Rauru approved it. There are areas that could benefit from the Spirit to heal and become whole again. Areas such as the Death Mountain and Lake Hylia." Nabooru never thought she's actually care for this land and the people in it.

"Where to first?" Ever a man of few words, Link got to the point. That was one of the many things Nabooru liked that about him.

"The forest you call home. Kokiri? I want to see our humble hero's home." She smiled slyly behind his back as he took off ahead of her.

And she had a promise to fulfill...

Link helped Nabooru up on Epona, knowing full well that she didn't need the help. She smiled at his courteous ways. He jumped up on Epona and settled into the saddle behind her. She leaned back against him and he grabbed the reins, pursuading Epona into a gallop. They took off out of the Gerudo Valley and across Hyrule Field, in the direction of the Kokiri Forest.
