In the great blue reefs of destiny island the people seemed to savor yet another peaceful light of day. The children were let loose fooling around and playing at the oceanfront while having the time of their lives. Nothing ever changed in the islands. The luscious greens and vibrant tropical flowers always in full bloom, and the sound of the waterfalls crashing down land forming rivers that's drifted out to sea. The locals knew each other fairly well. In this island the summers felt eternal. It was hard not to feel overjoyed living within the islands. The people in the island were clever crafters who seek creating new sites and had the time in doing so.

However it seems that not everyone was having a wonderful start to their day. A boy with coffee brown hair and deep blue eyes woke up with a shaky breath. His eyes have glossed over blurring his vision and formed rivers of tears streaming down his small chubby pink flushed cheeks. The boys morning was taking off to a bad start. He had woken to the most painful of dreams his every had the pleasures of dreaming up, a nightmare really.

The nightmare obtained of a broken down waste land, filled with hundreds of ancient rusty sword like keys, covering the hollow grounds of the lonesome land akin to being in a fairy tale eerie and yet still as a graveyard.

He remembered gazing into what seemed to be a shadow figure shaped in a form of a human. The boy helplessly witnessed the murder of his friends, having them slowly be ripped apart by the dark figure who is now covered in his friends crimson blood while cries for help continued to echo throughout the hollow lands. The boy couldn't move his small limbs and felt paralyzed. When he screamed and cried for himself to move to go protect his friends, he remained frozen in place… unmoved.

Lives were fading like a passing of shadows meanwhile mad laughter had rang throughout the hollow grounds buzzing through the boy's sensitive ears. He felt so helpless and lost.

The brown haired boy saw the shadowy figure slowly approaching him, and reaching out to firmly grab onto his shoulders hurting him in the process, he flinched and his heart began to race rapidly. He felt the pull of pure negative energy oozed from this creature. The boy feared this monster, whoever it was, and tried to will for his body move but to no avail.

The shadow figure lifted him in it's arms and ordered him to hold on to it. The boy's body seemed to have a mind of it's own and obeyed the creatures command, wrapping his arms around the it hugging and taking a hold onto the monster's neck, against his will he snuggled onto the crook of its shoulders while smelling the scent of blood and death of his loved ones. What was happening to him?! His body just stayed glued to the monster before him, even when he screamed for himself to let the creature go.

He could hear the figure trying to murmur something to him but it was faint and the boy can hardly figure out what it was trying to say to him. His mind was beginning to fog from the negative aura the creature produced and felt his eyelids slowly shutting closed. The last thing he heard was the creature calling out his name "Sora." with a sinister laugh before he woke up.

Sora's hand reached up to his damped cheeks, wiping out what was left of his tears. Sora can still hear the buzzing of the cruel laughter echoing throughout his head. He had enough trauma for one day and didn't wish to stay put any longer in his bed.

He bounced off of bed to get dressed and freshen up a bet. He ran to the mirror to take a look at himself. His eyes were bloodshot red and his little body still trembled from the previous nightmare.

"Oh boy, I'll never hear the end of it if anyone catches me like this!" Sora began to panic "I can't have the guy's seeing me like this, I'm sure Riku would get a kick out of it, calling me a wimp or something like that. If he finds out I'm toast!" the boy shook his head and slapped himself on his cheeks while overwhelmed in thoughts.

"Snap out of it Sora. No dream would ever bring you down!" he gave himself a huge grin. That is right it was pointless to mop around and cry when it was such a nice a beautiful day in destiny island.

Sora went down stairs to grab something to eat from his mom. His mom was in the kitchen making breakfast, most likely the the food would be all burned up. She's not an experienced cook. And it appears that his dad has already left for work.

She's always been kind and sweet to him, she had a gentle soul and took Sora in as her very own child. It was just the three of them. Even if it's been a month they've lived together.

"Good morning mom!" beamed Sora giving her his famous grin. She smiled back at him "Good morning Sora, how did you sleep this morning." Sora walked and sat on the kitchens dinning table, and looked at his mother as she worked. Burning whatever it was she was making while humming some strange Tune. She was in a cheerful mood, that's for sure.

"I slept alright, what about you mom, you seem pretty cheerful today." She walked up to Sora and placed his breakfast near him, Sora's mouth began to water from just looking at his breakfast, for once she managed not to completely burn the food "this looks so yummy!" thought Sora, and dived into his meal. She was a great mom.

Sora's birth mother was really beautiful, and mysterious. She used to have golden blonde locks of hair and sapphire blue eyes like his very own, she was very tall compared to all the other mothers his seen in the island. It kind of made her look like she had been some kind of a warrior princess. Especially with all the training she used to do every morning when she thought he was still fast asleep, like in his fairy tale books that she used to read to him.

Sadly she passed away not to long ago from a sickness of some kind, and Sora was sent to the destiny island orphanage where he made all his current friends. He would always go and visit her grave at least once a week if not more.

He remembered that he would always cry in the orphanage when he was first sent there. His roommates, Riku, would try to get him to stop crying by making it worse for Sora. The idiot would throw a paopu fruit at his face while challenging him to a duel when he was still moaning for his loss.

Sora would always end up being manipulated by Riku into doing the things Riku would want Sora to do. It irritated Sora to no end. Riku would force him out of bed EVERY MORNING and make Sora go and 'explore' some abandoned island with him just across from the main one. The rest of the orphanage also began following them to the island over time. Eventually Riku just ended up being one of his closest friend and the frequent visits to the island became more exciting.

He and Riku would always go out exploring or fight with their wooden swords. They would always go on adventures as if they were some kind of pioneers.

There weren't a lot of orphans in destiny island it was just him and his friends, and a lot of them got adopted into a family. Riku's adoptive family is the most wealthy in the island. And so Riku would sometimes become inflamed with thoughts of him being the strongest compared to the rest of the gang.

Sora couldn't let that happen of course and so he kept on challenging Riku to a duel every time they cross paths even if they're best friends he didn't care. Riku would beat him every time though. But today Riku's gloating days are over, because today is the day that Sora's going to beat Riku once and for all.

"Sora, don't forget your manners! You might choke on your own food, remember what happened to your friend Tidus dear, the poor child was suffocating from breathing down all that food at once. If you don't want to end up at the same position as Tidus then I suggest for you to slow down and eat properly!" scolded his mother, he slowed down his eating "Oh right sorry mom." He giggled. He could still remember the horror of watching Tidus eat… it's not pretty.

Once Sora was done with breakfast he ran off to the peer where Riku would be waiting for him, shouting his goodbye to his mother.

Keyblade Graveyard

Ventus was confused, he was pretty sure that the teen in the mask was going to torture him some more, but he just stopped and went who knows where?! Ven's body was in so much pain that it even hurt to breathe, he took his shaky hand into his pocket and took out a green glass star shaped charm. He gazed upon the charm wishing for his friends to be safe "Terra… Aqua.. where are you guy's" a single tear began to fall down his face and drop into the dry ground. Ven felt painfully useless, and tried to stand up even though knowing how pointless it was for him to even try. He finally gave up and just layed down on the ground waiting for his body to shut down. He closed his eyes wishing to see his friends on last time, just as he was about to give up hope a sudden gust of wind began to form, and there appeared a figure of someone with big round ears and a keyblade! The round eared being turn around to Ven. Ventus's blue eyes widened, it was a mouse? The mouse looked around to see where he was, and saw Ventus wounded.

"Oh dear?! how did this happen?!" squeaked the mouse, and ran next to Ven pointing his keyblade up into the sky shouting the word "HEAL!" Ven felt a cool sensation begin to travel throughout his body healing all of his injuries. He finally was able to breath without having to suffer through the pain.

"Thank you" whispered Ven standing up.

"Gorsh there is no need to thank me, you looked like you had one painful looking fight!" the mouse frowned, "OH! I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Mickey!" beamed Mickey happily lending Ventus a hand, to stand up," Hi Mickey I'm Ventus, but call me Ven for short" Ventus stood up and gave Mickey a friendly smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you Mickey, I see you have a keyblade?" asked Ventus, looked down towards Mickey "Amha, that's right, I've been training under the great Master Yen Sid!" Mickey said proudly. out of curiosity Ventus asked "I see, how'd you come here anyways?"

"Oh, I came here with this" the little mouse reached into his pocket and took and aqua blue star with a lightning bolt sticking out from one of its missing wings, it seemed to be a charm of some kind. "although it's very strange that all of a sudden it started to react," Mickey said while wrinkling his brows. "well I'm glad that it sended me to you Ven or else you would of lost consciousness and died from blood lost. This must be fate that brought me here!" Ven couldn't help but smile, it's true, he would've died if it weren't for his new friend Mickey here "I'm glad to." Ven smiled gently down to Mickey "Well we better get going then, I've still got to find my friends."

"Oh you're looking for your friends huh?" squeaked Mickey.

"Yeah for my friend Terra and Aqua" confirmed Ven. "I see, maybe I can help you find them then" cheer Mickey,"that would be nice" Ven smiled down at his new friend. The star on Mickeys hand began to shake"oh no, it's doing it again" sighed Mickey, "sorry Ven I'll be seeing you around hopefully." and with that Mickey disappeared, leaving Ven behind.

Destiny Island

Riku was waiting for Sora to come to the peer. Sora was most likely taking his sweet time napping, probably even forgot about their plans his sure of it!.

His mind was elsewhere though because of an outsider he met yesterday. The man wore clothes that were never really seen common in Destiny islands. He asked why Riku wanted to know about the outside world. So he told him that he wanted to get stronger to protect what mattered to him the most the man reached down to Riku and summoned some kind of a key, telling him hold onto it. He wished he knew the man's name though it was bugging him not knowing who the guy was, that happened to be from ANOTHER world.

The man asked if he saw a elder man passing on the island that with a strange get up. Riku had seen someone else that dressed up strange pass by not to long ago, so he told the man. Over the distance Sora began shouting out for Riku to come. The stranger told Riku to keep what they were talking about a secret and so Riku did.

Riku heard some squealing voice that can only belong to Sora. He looked around spotting Sora running towards him shouting something while waving his hand around like some kind of a crazy maniac. With his big goofy smile. Riku sighed "well lets see what kind of a crazy story his got up his sleeves this time" thought Riku to himself.

"Sora hurry up we've got to set sailing,"he shouted.

"Riiiikkkuuuuu! You cannot believe what kind of dream I saw today!"Sora shouted back to Riku, meanwhile jumping down the deck. Making a stop at where Riku was standing.

"Oh, and what is it this time! Did you dream of another of your crazy adventures of saving Santa Claus or something like that." Riku smirked to himself.

Sora would always have the randomest dreams his ever at the pleasure of hearing thus far. Not even Selphie would could dream up this kind of stuff. Who has dreams of fish that can talk or about people that are half human and half fish that sing, the whole idea of it was plain nuts.

Sora pouted "No, it was nothing like that, ummm it was actually a nightmare, and let me tell you, it was not something i'd ever want to see again." Sora looked at the ground all bummed out.

Riku rolled his eyes while shaking his head "Sora you shouldn't get so bummed out from a dream you had. It's only just a dream in the end.

Sora looked as if he's seen a ghost "but Riku it felt so real"

Riku smiled at sora trying to cheer him up"Sora stop being such a baby just don't think to much about that dream of yours and you'll be fine!" Before Sora could say anything back riku grabbed Sora by his arm and made them both go on the boat to set sail to their island.

Tidus and Wakka were waiting for them to hurry on to the island!

Riku turned to Sora, And he could already see little tick marks forming on top of Sora's forehead.

"Riku I challenge you to another deal!" shouted Sora.

Riku smirked "You ready to lose again Sora"

"You wish! This time I'm sure to beat you!"

Throughout the whole day the boys just played and raced one another. Sora once again lost against Riku but that was alright by him, he can always battle some more next time. Selphie also decided to visit the island but she was mainly practicing her jump rope skills.

The sun began to set and the children were all ready to go home.

Sora and Riku took off with their boats talking about the new moves they wanted to try out for their next sword fight until they made it to the main island. Riku decided to go sora's place for today until his parents decide to pick him up.
