Disclaimer: I don't own PPG or Bell
Mr. Utonium could hardly sit still. It had been almost 23 hours since the dosage process had ended, and to say he was anxious would be the understatement of the century.
His little angel's DNA structures had been completely changed! They didn't even look the same as they did before! Blossom's long caramel hair had turned a bright orange; and her once, always alert, dark brown eyes had turned into calculating pink eyes! Buttercup's spikey hair had turned jet black; her eyes were now a, shockingly piercing, electrifying shade of green! His sweet little Bubble's chocolate hair was now a golden platinum blonde; hazel eyes were now a beautiful unearthly blue. Bell was now sporting pure white hair; her eyes were almost the same as her hair in color if not for the soft silver tinting.
Although John couldn't have been more excited, he also couldn't help but worrying. 'They've been asleep for 22 of the past 23 hours! Is something wrong with them?!' 'What will Jillian think? , I can't let her see them like this!' 'Oh my gosh! Is this even legal?!'
Immersed in his worries, The Professor nearly had a heart attack when a loud crash echoed through the comfortable silence of the lab.
Scared half out of his wits, Utonium hastily pulled up the monitoring cameras that gave view to the observation room. What he saw scared him, a large gaping hole was in the wall! The titanium wall! But How?! 'Oh no! THE GIRLS!' At the thought, John quickly swiveled the camera to view the rest of the room. Not too long after he paled and his face contorted into a grave expression, as let out a high pitched scream. 'THEY'RE GONE!'
(A/N: I was going to stop here, but I realized this was way too short! In my notebook it seemed longer.)
Flabbergasted, John Utonium frantically jumped out of his seat. Nervously shifting from place to place; grabbing his coat, his keys, and a Taser that he had personally modified to also be able to shoot sedative darts. If some crazies had his daughters, he would find them! If they had enough power to cut through titanium, he would need a form of taking them out.
The professor's mind was on haywire as he rushed to his white 'Oldies-mobile", as his wife called it; jamming his keys into the ignition slot, the professor backed out of his driveway with such urgency he almost ran over the mailbox. As he started to drive into town, Professor realized three things: 1. He had no idea where they would be, or even where to start looking. 2. He had security cameras not only in the lab, but also outside the house. The 3rd he actually noted on his way out of his home. 3. There were 4 streaks of color buzzing around his house.
Professor Utonium slapped himself mentally as he raced back to his home; chiding himself for not keeping his head during the high pressured situation, but quickly consoled himself, as his lack of coolness was due to the love of his children and the fear of losing them. Any loving parent would do the same.
John stepped through his doorway, only to be knocked down with so much power he flew a few feet before actually touching the ground; A.K.A the cold concrete on the doorstep. Black dots danced across The Professor's vision for a few minutes; his body felt as if he had been crashed into by a freight train. And his head! Oh his poor head! Felt like someone shoved a spear straight through his skull; then slowly tried to dig it out with a rusty Swiss army knife!
Something laid lightly on his chest, lifting his suffering head with great effort, Professor looked down to see his, genetically modified, daughter, Bubbles.
When his head felt a little less hazy, John stood up; only to be almost hit by a green streak, which was being followed by 2 other streaks that were pink and white.
Bubbles attention that was once content with her father now was taken up by these colorful streaks. The Professor watched in amazement as Bubbles FLEW after the 3 streaks; a blue steak of her own trailing as she took off to join what seemed to be the destructive version of tag.
Professor Utonium watched on in amazement. In his dream-like stupor he slid back onto the floor. The power he had given them was far greater than anything he could have imagined! He had successfully created a formula that could change normal people into greater beings!
John just barely heard the sound of the phone ringing through the multiple thoughts that were whipping around in his head. Taking into account the amount of noise destruction makes, Professor took the call outside.
"Hello?" Mr. Utonium said coolly; he was walking on air at the moment, and nothing could bring him…
"Hello John." Hearing this voice struck a chord in Utonium; as he snapped out of his former nonchalant attitude.
"J-J-Jillian?"
"No. It's Jake from State Farm. Of course it's me! I told you I would call at 2, you didn't pick up! I've been trying to get a hold of you for the past hour and a half!"
"S-Sorry, things have been… interesting around here." The Professor stuttered as he watched another round of laser beams fly through the house.
"How interesting?" Jillian asked, her tone changing from annoyed to nervous at lightning speed.
"Nothing to worry about! Let's just put it this way, 'there's never a dull moment.'" Mr. Utonium grinned.
"W-W-Well, things have been pretty…um… interesting up here in Belgium too." Mrs. Utonium retorted, in what seemed to be an attempt at a soft joke; but the traces of voice that would have led to a short laugh were overpowered by the strong sound of nervousness.
"Jillian, is everything alright?"
"…I…I…just…I need… to tell you…" Jillian sounded like she was about to cry.
"If you can't speak right now, it's alright. I don't want to force you. Give it a night; when you're ready to talk, give me a call. I promise I'll pick up." John spoke comfortingly to his wife, in hopes of cheering her up.
"I'm sorry." Jillian's voice strained as she choked up on her tears.
"Huh?" The Professor wasn't sure what Jillian was sorry for, but decided to keep quite; assuming that she was about to spill about whatever was troubling her. John was soon proved wrong, as he heard the echo of the dial tone.
Although he was worried, Professor Utonium had no time to dwell on Jillian's problem; she was a grown woman, she can take care of herself. She'll tell him when she needs to tell him. Right?
Shaking his head of uncertainties, The Professor jogged back into the house. If he had gotten anything from Jillian's call, it was a reality check.
True he just created an ultra-human chemical, but if the chemical got into the wrong hands, it could cause a lot of trouble! That's if he lived to make another batch; if Jillian came back to a destroyed house and 4 super charged children, he wasn't too sure she'd be all that happy.
Professor had approximately 2 and ½ weeks and counting. He had to fix things; and fix things soon.
Okay! Tell me what you think! I know it's been a long while, but between school and 2 other stories, it's been hectic. In fact I'm blowing off my homework as we speak to update this for you (eh, I was gonna blow off half of my homework anyway). So the next 2 chapters will finish the background arch. The next chap. Will be more Professor, and Jillian (a short chapter I promise you). Then the chap. After that should deal with the whole moving to Townsville, and a result of Jillian's problem, and a leading into the story's bigger plot. So, with 2 big chapters coming up, buckle in! R&R!
*Extra: Read below if you'd like to read more of my work
Also if you like the idea of a Winx Club & Totally Spies crossover, or like either of those shows, go check out my other story, it's called 'Totally Winx'!
If you're not, a fan of those shows, but you like the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and/or its accompanying series Heroes of Olympus, keep an eye out for my story called 'Don't Say Yes' . It's not out yet, it's still in the typing stage, but the first chapter should be released soon enough. Pairings include: Percabeth, Frazel, Jeyna, and the main one- Liper, but it'll also have strong one-sided Jasper through a lot of it.
