...And Falling Kids from the Future
Mount Olympus was a beautiful place. With the remains of the orginal Greece architecture flourishing throughout the room and happy sounds and smells every where. Nymphs wandered freely and spirits existed peacefully while occasionally chatting with the minor gods and goddesses.
In the Olympian throne room, the Olympian Council had been called into a monthly session. Hestia tended her hearth as she observed her family with resignation. It was the same situation everytime.
Poseidon and Athena were arguing. As usual. Admittedly, it wasn't as bad as it bad been originally and over the centuries, they'd calmed down from more destructive fights. Despite this, verbal arguments (like the one they involved with currently) were a common occasion that drove every one around them insane.
Zeus was talking with Hera who had accused him of cheating (again) with a mortal woman. Zeus studiously denied such a thing insisting that he'd done nothing with a mortal since the birth of his daughter. Hestia wasn't one to make judgment, but she wouldn't be surprised if this was a lie. Her youngest brother often had a hard time keeping himself away from the mortals.
Hermes and Apollo were talking with each other and messing with Artemis. The poor goddess. Even as Apollo teased her about being the youngest (she wasn't) and Hermes playfully insulted her height (she was still in her 12 year old appearance) they did care about each other. Hestia was thankfully that one small part of her family was okay with showing they cared.
Hades had been dragged from his domain to Olympus for this little get together and seemed to hate every minute of it. She didn't blame him as Demeter ranted at him over her daughter, Pespherone who was sitting next to her husband trying to soothe her mother.
Ares and Hephestus had taken to their usual activities of sharpening their weapons (Ares) and fiddling with mechanical parts (Hephestus) while taking some time out to fuss over Aphrodite. The young goddess herself giggled playfully and watched her husband and boyfriend with interest while they worked.
Dionysus sat calmly in the corner of the room trying to go unnoticed. It was a typical habit of his everytime he came to these monthly meetings. Hestia understood. These gatherings had been her idea and none of her siblings, nieces or nephews had had the heart to argue with her. In addition to the meeting, she had managed to convince Zeus to allow Dionysus wine and grapes for the duration of the gathering. As such, the wine god took care to stay out of everyone's way and enjoy the reprieve from his punishment.
Hestia straightened up to head over and help Persephone with Demeter when a gentle flash of light covered her vision. When it disappeared it left five blankets on the floor. Upon closer inspection, the blankets were gently moving up and down showing someone was curled up inside of them.
Hestia approached the bundles. After all, she was the most peaceful Olympian so hopefully whomever was in there wouldn't be frightened by her. She shook the blankets closest to her and was greeted with a sleepy yawn and wiggling. She shook the blankets again and a black haired teenager sat up yawning.
She rubbed her eyes tiredly and glanced up at her. Hestia swallowed her startled gasp at the electric blue eyes that fell on her foggy with sleep and confusion. It took a moment but recognition flooded her gaze and she straightened up. The girl quickly reached over to the nearest blanket pile and shook it roughly. A grumble of protest rose from the blankets but an exhausted blonde rose from the pile.
While the newest awake person gained their bearing, the black haired girl stood revealing basketball shorts (black) and a black tank top as she marched over to the other three blankets. Without further ado, she shook awake the smallest bundle of the pile. She received wiggling and squirming but not a sound came from the pile.
A small raven haired girl sat up shivering. Noticing the now awake blonde, she crawled over (black basketball shorts and a green shirt) and sat in her lap. She didn't even acknowledge Hestia merely curling up on the girl's lap and going right back to sleep. Said blonde looked down, her grey eyes filled with amusement but didn't displace the small girl.
A cry of protest drew her attention to the black haired boy with green eyes who was laying on the floor shivering seeming to have been flat out thrown from his blankets. He wore a pair of shorts as well (what was the obsession with shorts here) and an orange t-shirt. This resulted in a pleased smile from black tank top girl as she moved on and woke the last bundle.
The boy within was very unhappy by the whole process but got up far quicker than his fellows stretching with a loud yawn. As he blinked sleep out of his brown eyes, the smallest girl was shaken awake resulting in a grumpy scowl as she stood with the others. The children took in the situation around them before finally focusing on the goddess in front of them.
"Lady Hestia, what have we been summoned for?" Black tank top girl asked.
Hestia blinked still processing what was happening. Now that she was looking at her, black tank top girl looked a little familiar. She shook her head and returned her attention the the confused looking children in front of her.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not aware of who you are. Would you care to introduce yourselves?"
The children stared at her incredulously.
"If it were any other goddess, I'd call it was a prank. But it's Hestia so they really don't know." The brown eyed boy remarked.
Before anything else could be said, another gentle flash of light shone happened and a small pile of books followed by a note appeared in the room. There was a silence before Hestia cautiously approached the pile. She heard her fellow Olympians muttering to themselves about the whole situation. She grabbed the note and read aloud;
Hello gods and goddess of Olympus,
I will cut quickly to the point, the future while not horrible is not the best option to take. As such, we've filled as much of the future as needed into these books. The children are from this future and are here in case any questions need to be answered.
I'm sure you're wondering how this will work. These children will be returned to their own timeline at this end of this reading with their memories of this event erased. You all however will continue in your timeline and change it for the better. This is so that everyone will be happy in the end. You will make things better than before and change the future so you're children are happier. The demigods will be returned to their timeline (so as not to disrupt the flow of time) without their memories so as not to breed resentment or jealousy from them over their counterparts.
Half-bloods, please introduce yourselves and your godly parent. Olympians, do not harm these children. It will not well for anyone.

P.S. I'm new at this immortal business and as such, somethings will be strange throughout this reading as I get used to my powers. Make as many requests for food and water as you like but I am not your servant so do ask nicely.
"Yet again, more immortal interference." The first girl grumbled. She signed and straightened up. "Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus."
Zeus straightened up and looked her over. He'd thought the girl had looked familiar but... to see his daughter older and safe- was so relieving. If was comforting to know she wouldn't always be a tree for his broken oath. He ignored the glare Hera was sending at him. It had been years since her birth and he'd paid the price for his mistake in the form of his daughter's life- his mistake, his child's life.
Wasn't that punishment enough?
"Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena." Introduced the only blonde.
Athena herself sat up and compared her to the mental image of her Annabeth, currently twelve years old in Camp Half-blood. She saw the resemblance in the matured features of her favorite daughter and smiled slightly.
"Percy Jackson and this is my sister, Kiara Jackson. We're both children of Poseidon." The green eyed boy informed gesturing to the quiet girl who waved at them shyly.
Poseidon blanched as all of the attention fell on him. He shuffled with discomfort remembering the day he'd found out Sally had been pregnant with not just one child, but two. Twins. Twin children of sea.
He'd nearly had a heart-attack.
He waited for the throne room to erupt with anger and for the shouting and screaming to begin. Everyone else seemed to be waiting for Zeus to kick it all off to begin their own accusations. Zeus though was keeping quiet. As much as he wanted to rage at his brother for the broken oath, he didn't want to draw attention to himself and by extension to Thalia. He was very aware of the hypocrisy in the room and had no intentions of letting it shine.
After several long minutes of waiting bled into awkward silence, the last child coughed and introduced himself.
"Nico DiAngelo, Son of Hades and born before the oath."
Hades merely regarded his son with a neutral expression trying to match him to the little hyperactive boy he'd sent to the Lotus Casino. He looked familiar enough in his facial features (So much like his mother) and his body structure but honestly, be was struggling to recognize his son.
While Hades debated the validation of the boy being his, Hestia picked up the first book.
"Percy Jackson and the Olympians." She read aloud.
Percy groaned and received laughter from his friends.
"It's always me..." He grumbled.
"Who first?" Annabeth inquired.
"Percy, it's his book after all." Thalia reasoned. Kiara nodded in agreement.
Percy huffed but took the book all the same.
Noticing the many books sitting in the pile, the Olympians decided that a more causal setting was appropriate for the foreseeable future of the reading. Which was simply them being fancy about saying they weren't going to sit in their thrones until their butts hurt just to find out the future.
As such, the demigods had all retreated to their blankets. They had all snorted when Kiara had stubbornly laid back down intent on getting her sleep in only to be firmly sat up by an invisible force. Said force was accompanied by a;
Sorry, but you need to be awake for this
-K.J.
Currently, his sister sat sulking and generally being annoyed about having her sleep stolen from her. In an attempt to ease the atmosphere around his sister, Percy opened the book to the first page.

"...this is from my point of view isn't it?"
"Probably."
"I hate my life."
