091. superficial; (of, affecting, or being on or near the surface)

Beauty doesn't always stop at the surface, neither does it always lurk below. It's not a one-or-the-other deal. But it's best to remember the old adage when face to face with the father and the son.

Fine pieces of porcelain both of them, alike as two teacups (sharp-edged, gilded, filled with black blood and envy), white angels' lips dripping promises never fulfilled, twisting them to suit their own mutated meanings. Choose your poison. Which would taste the sweetest? Whichever you choose, you're sure to be wrong.

But it won't matter for long.

Little lies they tell. Like I love you.
