Finally updating! Thanks for having faith in me! I'm really excited to do another Fairy Tail fanfiction! Review and tell me what you think please!

Last time:

The chair he was sitting on fell backwards from their force, her legs were in a frenzy, so Natsu put his large, muscular body between them, his face falling onto her neck. His hard torso pushed against her purple cotton front. The body heat radiating from her was delicious. His cold nose grazing her ear.

"I know"

She couldn't hold her breath in any longer. Letting it come out in ragged, shallow breaths fearing that somehow her intake of oxygen would make this situation worse. Well she could have passed out due to lack of oxygen and not deal with the situation at hand. Then either Natsu or Margret could-

Damn it Lucy! Focus, Levy said I always daydream in the most dangerous times. Focus! He's probably messing with you.

Although she steeled features into a cold, hard exterior her insides definitely did not feel it. Over the two years of getting to know her half-older brother she couldn't help notice that he had a very defined, healthy, muscular body and was technically, by law; a man. And she was constantly reminded as a woman that she was soon to be married to be a man for her "welfare" as they would say. Her education did not go entirely to waste, since Lucy was such a curious child and strangely enough the King encouraged her curiosity and thirst to knowledge.

"Much like your mother, my dear"

She was becoming one of the cotton-headed princesses that became hot and bothered because of a boy. Finally regaining her sense of importance, she forgot that this boy was and still is her father's most prized child and she was merely cast aside for a boy that did not have to put up with her hardships and strict society rules. Swallowing thickly, she narrowed her eyes and pursed her pouty, pink lips into a condescending smirk which surprisingly suited her and spat to the side, then glaring back at him with all the hateful emotions she could muster.

"You know nothing." Letting her eyes glance sideways as she scoffed, letting her lips pull back into a small snarl."I have better things to do than talk to an imbecile who doesn't even know how to use a fiscal policy." with unknown strength, possibly stemming from her anger she lifted his rock-hard body off her and stalked off, her simple purple dress trail behind her. Heartbeats were the only thing she could hear, her blood rushing absorbing the random adrenaline her hormones were producing, she couldn't help herself.

"And I know I've seen better magic wielders than you, you can't even compete." She sassed him. throwing him a disdainful look and a catty smirk enjoying the raging fire in his eyes and his flaring nostrils.

Challenge accepted then.

A fair new day greeted the land of Fairy Tail. The King was still resting in his chamber avoiding the terrible summer heat, it seemed that the 3 main-course dinner with a large serving with icy water did not cool him down. Who would have thought? Even the frogs that usually stayed cool in the vast lakes in the mountain sides could not escape the sweltering heatwave. Albeit the heatwave and everyone suffering, one person; prince enjoyed and welcomed the heat. In his usual, unusual attire of sandals; a thick white scarf and black waist coat with gold edging and white knee-length trousers. However unusual, it was always worn with irresistible and a dashing amount of confidence that always seem to make the chamber maid's blush. Even the 75-year old head maid, Agatha let her sagging, crinkly cheeks be painted a faint coral pink by the prince.

Today in the practice court yard, Natsu stood there bold as a rock merely practicing his magic. The heat from today's weather seemed to fuel his flames even more so, and Natsu had to be reminded quite a few times that the wooden arches of the outside corridor were almost antique; withstanding 400 years of monarchy and the advisers and the King did not think it was quite the time to take it down. The King had a good day, his most critical advisers had given him good news, of prosperity and how the civilians crime rates were going down, and that his fair and pretty daughter had plenty of worthy suitors that desired her hand in marriage. Thus he relaxed everyone's jobs and allowed them to enjoy the wonderful day. Even the King's council opened the heavy glass windows, letting in the summer air and let themselves unwind with a glass of wine enjoying merrymaking. Unfortunately, even on this glorious day there was one princess that was still unsatisfied by this sweltering heat.

Lucy was making rounds with her best friend/personal maid- Levy McGarden. As always Lucy the taller, curvier figure stood tall and proud, only hiding her hands in the pockets of her dress. As always onto her right was a slightly mousier, much diminutive figure that always had her arms folded over book that was closely pressed against her chest which gave no man the satisfaction of seeing her bust.

"Did you enjoy today's lesson Miss Lucy?"

"How many times have I told you to call me by my name Levy" Lucy sighed, the heat was getting to her as she repeated her order for the thousandth time.

"I understand you want to make our friendship as personal as possible but I have been personally reprimanded by Miss Agatha that you are royalty thus treating you with respect, Miss Lucy" She meekly replied looking down at her leather-bound book. Hoping Lucy wouldn't cause one of her famous rows with one of her enemies: Head Maid Agatha.

"Fine, fine I suppose you can't help it and I shouldn't have been so brash. I'm getting annoyed at too many things lately Levy. I fear for my complexion" Her sardonic tone saturated her last sentence made Levy giggle quietly;so she wouldn't be misunderstood by any of the other maids, but she noted Miss Lucy's grave tone before.

"Maybe I can help you Miss Lucy. Why or what is the source of your agitation?" Levy pushed her spectacles up the bridge of her nose, a habit when she was thinking deeply.

"I don't know Levy, I don't know" Sighing, letting the weight of her lie bear on her soul. Although she despised herself for even thinking for the slightest second that her half-older and very devious brother was handsome, she couldn't help think about his body heat. How it melted her, her skin was literally burning from either anger or lust and-

"Ahh Miss Lucy, you do know. Why not clear your anger with me? It must be something big." Lucy huffed and smiled gaily at Levy admiring her.

"As always Levy, reading me like a book"

"Well it is my specialty" she winked, her mouth spreading wide with a friendly smile

"Have you ever experienced-"

"PRINCESS-"

Without much warning the pair instantly stalled and felt another 100 degrees of heat engulf them. The sudden rush of heat had left as quickly as it came, as did the channel of crimson flames. It seemed that the rest of the of prince's female company did not witness the princess's and her maid's almost instant death. They screamed childishly and wildly in an untamed, sophisticated manner which made Lucy narrow her eyes at them; only a few caught her glance and quieten down. Sighing and reconstructing her hairdo and dress, Lucy's jaw twitched with anger and her forehead pulsated. She understood from Levy's observation that a certain blue vein popped out against her milky complexion when angry and were to strike fear in the faint-hearted. Swallowing her anger down as she was taught many years ago. She retrained her jumpy and explosive anger and let a mature coolness spread throughout her body. However her body was flooded with angry heat as her eyes greeted her cocky, idiotic-grinning half brother.

"Prince" Levy bowed deeply and her voice was quietly low, almost unheard

"Miss Levy" Adding his special and truly charismatic wide grin giving it a roguish, irresistible touch. Lucy glanced down at her bent over friend and saw a slight tint of pink. Was she not immune to this fool's charms? She did not have a crush on Natsu.. did she?

"Sister"

"Brother" Lucy challenged him subtly with her raised eyebrows and forceful tone. Levy took a quick look between the two siblings and smiled secretly. She had one too many times been a witness of the explosive sibling's arguments and she knew the template of the argument very well. Unfortunately she did not bring some cotton to place in her ears to buffer the sounds of their argument. Even though they were completely silent; exchanging angry, passionate glances Levy knew best that she should not comment on the sibling relationship as she had learnt before. She knew that Natsu gave her special attention, more than one would think and she was wondering why. She only knew because of the chamber maids in the servant quarters groaned and whined that the prince did not grant, even a silver of his attention to them, compared to how much he focused on his step-sister.

"I see you're with the beautiful Miss Levy" Bending halfway to his knees, grasping Levy's dainty hand and brushing her knuckles with his lips. Although Levy wasn't truly attracted to the prince, the saucy wink that he sent her made her melt like butter on a hot summer's day.

"P-prince, your royal highness-" Levy could already feel the daggers stabbing her side from the other chamber maids. Well she knew what she was getting for dinner then...

"Don't apologize for your beauty Miss Levy" his deep timbre could be clearly heard as the maids stood still in angry shock. Even though Natsu seemed to be entranced by Levy, in reality he was gauging how angry Lucy was becoming. If successful then Natsu had his work cut out for him.

"Do not harass my maid" Plucking off Levy's hand from Natsu's insane fiery heat. "I'm sure there are other maids that are more willing" giving a pointed look at the olive-faced maids (green=jealousy). Leaving in a wide, powerful stride.

The hunt for treasure was over

"Levy how many times have I told you? Don't let him affect you like that! He only wants one thing, with his adolescent body." She shuddered.

"It's not like I wanted it to happen, you need to understand that Natsu has a certain quality that makes us women... giddy and hot." Levy let her glasses slide a little down her nose so Lucy could pick up her hint. Lu-chan couldn't be mad at her friend forever. And so she laughed merrily. Wiping her tears, her heart felt ten times lighter

"Levy I think it's time"

"Of course Miss Lucy" Levy sobered up instantly, pushing back her glasses and hurrying off. Lucy spun around facing the open arches of the wooden corridor, apparently her new found happiness had blocked out all the shrieks of excitement and loud, obnoxious appraisals from Natsu's supporters. It was an excellent day today.

One day little sister, one day.

And once again Lucy had been engulfed in a sudden 100 degree heatwave and smiled.

"Eggs for sale!~"

"Trousers that will keep the bugs away and keep you warm in the winter!"

"Move out the way! Can't yer see I have to go on del'ery?! Get out!"

The civilian's market was bustling with much energy and vigor. Even though the stone floor was filthy with animal feces, rotten vegetables and other terrible things, it did not halt the market in any way. The chickens were constantly clucking at the commotion of the market, thousands of boxes full of colourful, fat and dull vegetables were on display. Loud callings of bartering and bargaining were the melody of this unorganized song. However unorganized, disgusting and filthy this market was Lucy still would not forget her secret duty to help the needy. Dressing in her well made yet dull, plain "peasant" clothes she hid her luxurious, glossy blonde hair and dulled her appearance with some powder so she seemed plain and common. She offered her services to a lonely woman who had no children to help her sell her produce and has since been a "permanent" member. Tightening her scarf around her face for a security measure, Lucy hurriedly organized the vegetables in the box as a couple of housemaids had looked through but did not bother putting back the products in their rightful place. Her slender fingers tried to move as quickly as possible in the event of-

"What must I do to attract service from you commoners?" An almost ethereal voice had suddenly appeared. Glaring up from the hateful tone, her body and soul flaring up, she could tell instantly this idiot was a pompous prat who was obviously fed with a silver spoon in his mouth.

"Obviously you do not understand-"

"Understand what exactly? Since everyone wants money and lots of it, I should be your top priority. In fact as royalty you should be bowing down to me offering your most humble services." he interrupted with no signs of regret or remorse. Lucy glared up and Levy half shy half afraid of what they would see.

An extremely tall, handsome and slim adolescent, wearing a royal coat of arms on his left breast of his large navy waistcoat. Paired with a seemingly spotless white trousers with tall black riding boots. His hair styled in an unusual manner, surprisingly a similarly wild style like Natsu; all wild and thorn-like excluding a certain off-standish aura around him. The epitome of royalty and wealth.

"You are not our prince henceforth we do not throw our lives away for you so we can merely serve you" she hissed, glaring back holding her head scarf tight.

"Ahh you must be those out-spoken rich peasant girls that must have a father must have been disappointed that your prostitute mother could not bear a son, so he taught you how to fight like a man" Looking more carefully into her face and giving glance down her front "Which is a waste I must say" curling his lips into a smile.

Sting Eucliffe, one of her suitors. He is in line for his father's crown as well as his cousin Rogue Cheney. Sting's mother had stolen the crown from the previous queen, but only by bearing a son but little did the public know but Sting does not have the King's blood. However as there are no other worthy male heirs Sting was promised the crown; as Lucy remembered. Once again Lucy's rapid and cutting lips had got her into trouble.

"Ha, my prostitute mother? Pot calling the kettle black here. Oh I'm sorry wrong phrase, this only works if I'm not a bastard child." She sneered, her chocolate irises glistening with fiery anger and malice.

In disbelief Sting shook then drew his sword at this intriguing yet irritating maiden's throat. Grazing her hand which was holding her head scarf together, enjoying the sound of his blade brush against her milky throat.

"It's a shame that this pretty mouth is going to be of no use, I'm sure you're very talented my dear" How could she know? Instantly the barriers to self-protect were in lock-down stage and his instinct to react with anger was already running.

"I am no common wrench for you Prince Sting, you simply do not attract me, you look too... feminine" Smirking, if she were too die she would die with fighting words.

"Oh-ho a loud mouth brat that does not know her place" he argued, deeply intrigued how this outspoken maiden's eyes gleamed with an unfamiliar emotion whilst having a sword at her throat.

"A bastard prince who has no true right to the throne" she counter-attacked, releasing her pent-up anger from her previous encounters with her step-brother. Taking a sudden deep breath as she felt the sword's tip race across the middle of her throat. At least she died fighting, how tragically romantic and suave.. in a morbid sense. Squeezing her eyes she waited... and waited. Letting her eyes open a fractional amount she met something surprising.

"Please Prince, take pity on my friend. She was dropped as a baby, so she has certain issues." Levy lied right through her teeth, bowing deeply to demonstrate her respect and pity to the arrogant prince. She couldn't trust Lu-chan to not get fired up about this idiotic prince, in fact he was too much like... Prince Natsu. Maybe that was the reason why she was held with a sword at her throat.

"Come-on Sting she's just a girl, even you wouldn't go that low" The more shy and thoughtful yet just as dashing prince Rogue reasoned with his hot-headed cousin. Holding the sword so that he could at least control some of his cousin. It would be too messy to cover up two virgin maiden's death, it would not look good for his image to get his father's crown. Still seeing a cloudy judgement, Levy knew in a second that they could go to heaven in any moment. Chucking a rather large potato, or actually hurling it at the prince, Levy stole Lucy's hand and sprinted off into the distance.

"Rather spunky" Falling onto his ass, still mesmerized by the attack and the "rich-peasant" girl.

"You sad fool, what happened to Prince Sting, top of the world?" Rogue offered a hand to help Sting up, trying not to laugh at his Cousin's current condition but failed.

"Well I will be after when I kill that commoner and marry the fair maiden of Fairy Tail." Sting recited in a sing song manner brushing off the dirt from his large open waistcoat and started to push through the once- again bustling streets of the markets.

"Her friend seemed more courageous"

"Yeah but the other one has a delicious body and a fiery mouth on her. I wonder if she still is a virgin"

"I can see in the conventional sense" Sting stared after his cousin, in disbelief. How could his cousin not glance at her generous bust and gorgeous face.

"You'll die without any heirs if you don't use the "conventional sense" you fool. What you wanted to marry her blue-haired friend?" he scoffed

"No, but there are more to physical appearances"

"Yes but in the end they count the most. I can't have an ugly heir, I mean who would carry on my bloodline and handsome heritage. I can not and will not have an ugly son." Sting proudly puffed his chest, as if he was the most logical person in the entire world and he just proved his "theory" with his own logic.

"When is your ego ever going to die down?" Rogue chuckled, ruffling his inky black hair still trying to get through the jostling market.

"Never, that's why I'm so attractive" He grinned.

"Please welcome prince Sting Eucliffe and his cousin prince Rogue Cheney" The advisor bowed deeply as the princes stalked down the well-worn emerald green carpet isle that was placed before the King of Fairy Tail.

Schooling her features into disinterest Lucy sat quietly with Levy at her side. Already trying to force her anger down as she remembered Sting's sneering tone and his very very sharp sword from earlier.

"Princess" Sting kneeled, his spikes facing the opposite way reminding Lucy of a hedgehog and how ridiculous he looked.

Levy meekly peered up; even though she had her glasses on, her maid uniform on and her unruly blue hair tucked away she caught the stare of Rogue Cheney and her heart fell ten feet down into her stomach.

He knew

FINALLY UPDATED. Btw when I refereed to Rogue "knowing" I mean that he knew that it was Levy down at the market place and could probably guess it was Lucy there as well, but he didn't get a good look at Lucy. But until next time. I'm sorry this is a slow chapter but it was definitely needed! Sorry for any mistakes!
