Charles Bukowski once wrote, "There will always be something to ruin our lives. It all depends on what or which finds us first. You're always ripe and ready to be taken."

Normally, Rachel would wake to a completely silent house; arguments were something that were very foreign in the Berry house. Mostly because one, it was mostly Rachel home alone and two her dads were never really around to spend time with her, or argue with her and just be there for her like actual parents. Rubbing her eyes she got off her bed and opened her door.

"You're a lazy and pathetic a pathetic piece of shit!" She heard one of her dads shout. "Sometimes I wonder why I even married you!"

Rachel continued to listen, she never heard her dads argue with each other that badly before. Rachel contemplated on whether or not to go downstairs. She wanted to know what was happening but they never told her anything anyways. She would always be the last person to know, so it did not really matter. Pretending like she never heard anything, Rachel continued with her morning routine.

She had two options, she could have leave through the back door, or she could pretend she never heard anything and that they were this perfect family. After what was not much contemplation, Rachel decided the back door it was .She did not want them to make some awkward excuse because she was not deaf and they were not exactly quiet. Plus, the less she knew the better.

She was approximately 1.5 inches away from the door when she heard her dad, "Rachel Barbra Berry you get into this kitchen right this moment, or so help me God."

Every time she tried to sneak out, she always got caught, how was that even possible. She had no choice now, because she never heard her dad this pissed. Rachel took a deep breath and repeated in her head, 'look happy, and pretend you heard nothing.'

"Sorry dad I'm kind of in a rush this morning I forgot about this glee meeting this morning," Rachel lied, standing right outside the kitchen, to emphasize how late she was.

"Let her go Hiram," Leroy said,

"Was anybody talking to you Leroy? No," Hiram bit at his husband.

Rachel just stood there, eyes wide open. Did they forget she was standing right there?

"Rachel go to school. You're father clearly has no idea what he is saying. Do you honey?" Leroy remarked.

Rachel did not stick around to hear the rest of that conversation. They probably said something, but she did not hear it because it did not want to hear it.

"She needs to know Hiram, before she finds out from someone else," Leroy said pouring himself a cup of coffee

"And who is this someone going to be? Is it one of your nonexistent friends? " Hiram spat; irritated at his husband, which was beginning to become very frequent with each passing day.

"Can we have just one conversation with you being such a prick?" Leroy retaliated, sick of Hiram's attitude.

"You're the one who was all over that whore in our bed!" Leroy snapped throwing his cup of coffee into the sink, not caring if it broke or not.

Rachel made it to school fifteen minutes early and was surprised to see Finn waiting for her by her locker, –Sometimes, she wondered why she was even with Finn. Being with Finn was more work than anything, she was not even happy. The cons outweighed the pros.- Dating Finn Hudson still got her no respect from the other jocks or anyone for that matter, she was still a target for slushy facials. Dating Finn Hudson just reminded her of how miserable she really was.

Finn apologized for not texting her last night. In all honesty, she kind of forgot about Finn when she got home. When did Finn even tell her that he was going to text her? Did she even want to be with Finn anymore?

On a scale of one to 10, ten being the highest, it was another shitty day in the life of Rachel Berry. So on the scale she would score a perfect 6 out of ten. However, she could sense something coming, something was off, it was noon and Rachel Berry had not been slushied. Something was most definitely wrong.

It happened all too fast. She did not even know what happened. All she knew was she felt her back being pinned against the lockers and slushy being dumped on her head and thrown into her face

"You're just another Lima loser Berry. You think you're special but you're not. You're nothing but a waste of space and time. If I see you even so look in our direction again, or even mention what happened here today, I will make your life a living hell, "Santana said in a low voice grabbing Rachel by her shirt then slamming her back into the lockers.

Why did Santana hate her so much? Rachel asked herself that question every single day. What did she do to deserve this hated not only from Santana but everyone around her? Sometimes she believed them other times she ignored them, but it gets hard sometimes to ignore those kinds of insults every single day of your life. The worst part about it all was no matter what they did to her; she constantly sought their approval to fit in with them. Hell, she wanted to be like them. She wanted to be like Santana.

"Are you even listening to me Berry?" Santana questioned annoyed. "Just remember who's in charge Berry."

And just like that Santana left, Rachel was left alone in the hallway drenched in slushy, still trying to process what happened. One thing was certain, Rachel kept chanting 'don't cry, don't cry,' in her head. She was not going to cry even though she could feel the tears welling up in her eyes. She took a deep breath and made her way to the closet bathroom to get cleaned up.

Quinn was making her way out of one of the stalls when she saw Rachel covered in slushy.

"Rachel?" Quinn said confused.

When the tiny brunette turned around she immediately felt a surge of guilt throughout her entire body. Even though she was not responsible for her state presently she was most definitely responsible for the everyday torture she had to endure. This was the first time Quinn saw Rachel Berry so broken and dejected and it was not because of a solo it was because she was truly and genuinely hurt.

"I'm fine Quinn. Just leave," Rachel said her voice cracking as she held back her tears.

"Rachel, you're not fine Rachel, let me help you," Quinn said as she gave Rachel a paper towel to wipe the goo out of her face.

"I find that very hard to believe," Rachel said hesitant to take the paper towel from Quinn.

Rachel looked at Quinn for a moment and wondered how someone could be so relentless. Quinn was probably hiding a slushy somewhere waiting to pour it all over her head. What else did she really have to lose another slushy would not change anything. She would still wake up in the morning and be the same Rachel everyone hated. Rachel did not let Quinn touch her she made it clear that she did not need Quinn's help but the blonde waited until she was cleaned up.

"Who slushied you?" Quinn asked.

Rachel remembered what Santana's words and tried to walk past Quinn ignoring her.

Quinn then grabbed her by her hand preventing her from trying to leave.

"Why do you even want to know Quinn? Since when did you start caring and being so nice I thought you hate me and only want to see me suffer just like everyone else!" Rachel said harshly.

"Rachel I don't hate you and I don't want you to suffer. I want to be your friend Rachel."

"Sure you do, this is probably just another one of your pranks."

"Rachel, I –"

She was then cut off by Rachel walking away from her and making her way out of the bathroom. All she wanted to do was get home and lock herself in her room.

Just as Rachel was about to leave, she was stopped by Quinn.

"Hey do you need do you need a ride home?"

"Do you just love making fun of me Quinn?"

"No, Rachel I seriously want to give you a ride home."

"Well, thanks for the offer Quinn, but not today maybe some other day," Rachel said and left.

When Rachel got home all she wanted to do was lock herself in her room and blast some music. The only thing wrong with that plan was that her fathers had something else in mind. They just told her to get dressed .A fancy dinner, in a fancy restaurant, to make up for yesterday, - well not really.-

The rest of the evening was very silent even on the way to the restaurant it was silent. Heck even when they sat down in the restaurant no one talked. They only time there was any sort of communication was when they had to order. There was so much tension on the table and Rachel needed to know why.

"I know there's something going on because the tension at this is table is unreal."

"We will talk later," Leroy said dismissing Rachel's statement, wanting to wait for a suitable moment to tell his daughter.

The rest of their dinner was very silent.

"We are getting divorced Rachel," her Hiram said as the waiter's took their plates from the table.

"What?" was all Rachel said.

"Did you have to tell her now like this?!" Leroy said furious with Hiram.

"Was this not the point of the dinner? I don't know what you were waiting for? If I left it up to you we would be divorced and she would not even know!" Hiram shot back.

" But …" was all Rachel could manage to say before her she was cut off by her dad.

"We can talk more when we are home okay," her dad said trying not to look at her.

They paid their bill and made the way to their car. Great how could my life get more screwed up Rachel thought as she was getting into the car. Rachel was staring out the window and there was silence complete silence more silence than anyone could handle. Thankfully one of her dads turned on the radio, she was too busy watching the merging traffic to notice who actually turned it on. At least they were playing good music,- Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol,- it was one of her favorite songs.

"Rachel..." her dad started not paying attention to the road.

He was then cut off by Rachel screaming to watch out. He then turned to his side and swore. Hiram's grip on the staring wheel tightened as his adrenaline started to kick in. A car was coming straight towards the driver side of the car from the intersection. He tried to avoid the crash but it was too late, all his efforts were in vain. There were sounds of tire screeches as her Dad tried to avoid the incoming car and the sound of metal breaking as both cars flipped over.

A/N: The accident scene probably wasn't all that but i will work on it :). Trust me on this things are gonna get pretty intresting :) There will be more Faberry :) Please Review it means alot :)
