And so, Yang found the dust shop. The Loaded Bullet. It looked nice with the window having, "The Loaded Bullet" painted on it.

"So, why are we here again?" asked Ruby, being brought along.

"To see… a friend," Yang said. They stepped inside the building, with a bell being rung, and entered the empty store. It was neatly arranged, with four shelves, each side having the respective dusts, fire, ice, lightning, earth, water, gravity, and the last shelf had two more kinds of dust that were unknown to the half-sisters.

They walked up to the counter at the back, behind it were tubes of the eight dusts and their respective kinds, the same organization on the shelves. There was also a shelf under the tubes, with the slots of the shelf holding tubes to put dust in, each tube having different sizes.

"Um… Hello?" Yang said loudly, hoping she wasn't going to be scammed.

"Hold on!" said the familiar voice. To the right of the tubes of dust was a doorway, and came out of it was the strange man, but he was dressed different. He had a black hooded jacket (fluffy stuffs on the inside), and it opened showing a black shirt with a red skull on it. He had on blue jeans with black work boots. He had black gloves on and a pair of goggles over his glasses. He was quite "dusty".

"Hey, was wondering how long it would take," said the man, pulling the goggles up onto his forehead, showing he switched his sunglasses to regular glasses, showing off his sky blue eyes. He proceeded to lean on the counter, in front of Ruby. "And I see you brought your little sister."

"Um… You seem familiar," Ruby said.

"Oh, just familiar. What, my little red reaper don't remember me no more?" asked the man. Ruby's memory then corrected itself as her eyes shone with glee.

"Uncle David!" Ruby exclaimed, jumping over the counter, on top of David.

"Hey! Ow. I'm not as young as I use to be kiddo!" complained David.

"Uncle?" Yang asked.

"Well, let's just say this. You got sick with something nasty, and Qrow and your father couldn't watch over you and Ruby, with missions and all. So I got put on babysitting duty," explained David, getting up with Ruby hanging on his arm. She let go and landed on the ground with a "hmph"

"I was able to take care of myself!" Ruby exclaimed with puffed cheeks. David only laughed and patted Ruby's head, to her annoyance/pleasure. She smiled as she tried to push his arm away. Then a smell wafted into Ruby's nose.

"Did you make cookies?" she asked with stars in her eyes.

"In the back, in the kitchen."

"WOO!" Ruby yelled as she sped from the room.

"So… how bad was I sick?" asked Yang, depressed that she had to be the one taken care of with her baby-not-so-baby-sister.

"Pretty bad, something the doctors couldn't diagnose," David explained. "But that's in the past. So, don't we have a deal to finish?" David asked with a wink as he snapped his fingers. And the room went dark.

The scenery around Yang was back to in the private room, with the same red dots. They flashed yellow, then green, then back to red.

"Yang Xiao Long, you have kept your end of the deal, so I shall keep mine," said the monstrous voice. Then the dots turned white as the voice spoke again, but it sounded robotic, monotonous.

"You will find, Raven Branwen, in due time. A total of, one, two, three times in the future. The first, in a time of distress. The second, in a time of confusion, darkness, and anger. The third, will be of violence. I cannot tell the location, but fate has already been written. The deal is now fulfilled. Thank you for your cooperation," the robotic voice said. It all turned dark again.

The scenery was back in the shop. It looked the same, with David nowhere to be seen.

"David?" yelled Yang.

"Back here!" yelled his voice in the back. Then the laughter of Ruby came next. Yang proceeded to go in the back, into a kitchen, to see the sight of Ruby laughing at a funny looking David. He had cookies over his eyes and a cookie midway into his mouth. One was also balanced on top of his glasses, while he held two fingers behind his head as antenna.

"All your cookies are belong to us!" he yelled. Ruby calmed down and started impromptu acting as well.

"Never, you alien fiend! We will keep all of Remnant's cookies safe from your clutches!" Ruby exclaimed, somehow with a general's cap on. She then "shot" a chocolate chip from a rubber band and hit the top cookie on David. He "screamed in pain" with his arms up dramatically.

"ARGH! This is not the end! It is only the beginning!" David exclaimed has he slowly fell behind the table, with one arm being seen giving a thumbs up. "I'll be back!"

Ruby only started busting up laughing as Yang only starred in amused confusion.

"What just happened?" Yang asked. David immediately got up, somehow with the cookies gone, and smiled.

"We were reenacting the invasion of the cookinators," David explained. "And they lost. But hey, that's how the cookie crumbles," he finished with his hands in his pockets. This got a snicker from Yang and a moan from Ruby.

"So, their plans weren't that well baked, huh?" Yang joined in on cooking up puns. Oh, dammit, now I'm doing it!

"Well, I'm wondering, cook-ie try that again?" David said.

"You're both as bad as dad!" Ruby complained.

"Where do you think he gets it from?" David asked.

"How old are you?" asked Yang.

"Eighty four," answered David, without missing a beat.

"No way!" Yang said.

"I don't believe you!" Ruby joined.

"Well, I am called the, original reaper, for a reason," said David.

"Where's your scythe?" asked Ruby, arms cross, trying to look serious. Well, as one like Ruby could get.

"Hold on, let me find it first. Haven't needed to use it in a while," then he went back in the hall, and went up a flight of stairs that the sisters didn't see. He opened a door at the top and went in, then weapons of all kinds came flying down. Swords, spears, guns, bows and arrows, crossbows and bolts, staffs, shurikens, okay it's getting out of hand.

"Found it!" the sisters heard as a David walked down holding… a cane.

"Um… that's a cane," Ruby noted.

"And what you have on your backside is a box, but that's not true is it?" David asked. Ruby's eyes lit up as she finally got it. "Yup, I don't remember how, but I got this huge scythe to compact into this walking stick," he said as he stood in front of the sisters, leaning on his cane.

"Woah… You're so cool…" Ruby whispered in awe, "Teach me your ways!" she said as she folded her hands and looked up into the man's eyes with hope.

"I can try. Like I said, not as young as I used to be, but hey, I haven't lost all my kick. But anyway, let's go out front," David said.

"Why?"

"To get you my specially mined dust of course!" David exclaimed, like it was the most obvious thing. And so, they went back out front.

"What's so special about your dust? Isn't it the same as any dust?" asked Yang.

"Well, that's the thing. You see, I get all my dust from my own mine down under my house, and I produce it using a different way than the Schnee Dust Company. Also, since I don't need it exported here, I don't have to pay shipping fees, or worry about the Fang coming after it, making my life that much easier. I even discovered two unknown dusts. The dark and light dust," explained David.

"Dark and Light?"

"Yes, the dark dust can be used like a miniature black hole. I only sell it to select few, with my special security and software, none have been stolen yet. The light though, is open to anyone. If you look, though, there's much less. Actually, there's not much of either since it's that rare. But anyway, the light dust is made for creation, healing, and hope. It's not really for weapons, as it's actually edible," David finished.

"How would you know?" asked Ruby, fearing for their "uncle's" sanity.

"I gave it to a hurt rat, and the rat ate it, and it was healed instantly," David said with enthusiasm, "The other dust, the usual and common dust, I made to pack more of a punch. So, if a Schnee wants to challenge you, use my dust and wallop their sorry ass," David ordered, with a wink.

"So, how much does it cost?" Yang asked.

"For you two, I'll make it on the house. Especially since it's your first time. So, how's your dust reserves so far?"

"Well, we're actually empty on dust," Yang started.

Torchwick's thugs weren't just against Ruby, they were also against Yang, since Yang actually caught up with Ruby. She and Ruby used the last of their dust in the exchange, finishing of their reserves on Cinder. So, Ruby and Yang were in the room with Goodwitch, and Yang saw first hand her little sister get invited to Beacon.

"So my red reaper's goin' to Beacon! Oh I'm so proud!" David exclaimed. Ruby blushed with modesty.

"It really wasn't much," she said.

"Bullshit, Qrow taught you well in my art, and so, all the more reason to accent on your skills. Heard the semesters start in a couple o' days so, pick your dust."

"I'll take the fire dust," Yang said.

"Fire aye? More of the offensive side?"

"Yep!"

"So Ruby, what's your choice?"

"Um… Crescent Rose doesn't have the gear compatible for dust really," Ruby said sadly.

"Here. Try this kind," David suggested, pulling a suitcase from under the counter, and pushing it to Ruby. She opened it to see, vials of golden bullets. Plenty enough to last the year.

"Golden bullets?"

"Not just golden, plasma bullets. Something special I cooked up for certain kinds of wielders," David explained. "They're able to pack a punch. That's all I'm gonna say."

"So, these're for me?" Ruby asked.

"Yep. Something special for when you went to Beacon. I was gonna save it for your sixteenth birthday, when you would head to Beacon, but I guess that came early," David explained. He received a overstretched hug, but the message was clear.

"Thank you," Ruby said.

"Alright my red reaper, you should get goin' and get the rest of your items ready for Beacon. It's gonna be tough," David said as Ruby let go. Ruby nodded with a smile as she sped out of the shop to get the rest of herself ready for Beacon.

"Thanks for supporting Ruby. Ever since mom…" Yang trailed off.

"Yeah, I miss her too. Was like a daughter to me."

"You knew her?" Yang asked. How much were they connected?

"Another student of mine. She worked in the art of the staff, which wasn't that much different than a scythe. She was more of a gentle worker than Qrow. I honestly thought those to would be a thing, but nope. She had eyes for Ty. I was at the marriage, and I was proud of the girl."

"So, do you think of us as your grandchildren?" Yang asked.

"I guess I do. I did just give you a gift didn't I?" David shot back. "Anyway, go after Ruby, keep her in check. And be good!" David yelled as Yang walked out.

"I will!" Yang called back, as the bell rang, telling of her exit.

"Ah, it's good to see those two."

"I'll admit, the red reaper is pleasant company," said the monstrous voice.

"Oh, now you admit it was a good idea?"

"Well, considering who's coming in next."

"What, oh shit. You better hide."

The bell rang, signaling another entrance. It wasn't a customer, but a headmaster, and his assistant.

"Ah, hello old friend. Good to see you," said David to his old friend.

"So, this is Mr. Hawk?" asked Glynda.

"Mr. Hawk? How 'bout you call me David. I may be old, but I don't want to be treated that way," David complained.

"You're one to talk David. You have your semblance," Ozpin said.

"Well, you have your's also," David said as Ozpin and David seemed to have an eye level staring contest. They both chuckled, leaving Glynda confused.

"Good to see you old pal," David said extending his hand.

"Good to see you too old friend," Ozpin returned, shaking the other's hand.

"What?"

"Oh, I was the old combat instructor in the old days of Beacon," David explained.

"What? You look no older than twenty," Glynda said.

"The effect of my semblance. My look stays the same, but my mind gets more and more witty," David said with a sigh. "But, I'm gonna say that Ozpin here doesn't just want to talk."

"You'd be right. Glynda, go to the back room while David and I talk," Ozpin ordered.

"Yes sir." They both waited as they listened to the clacking of Glynda's heels fade away.

"Well, as much as I would like to just visit and talk over a cup of tea, I need your help," Ozpin said.

"With what?"

"Dust. You've heard about the shipments and the store break-ins right?"

"Heard plenty about it. Had a couple members try to get my dust."

"Out of the way, or you'll be found dead," said a fox masked faunus. He held a knife pointed towards David, his partner, a lady panda faunus, holding a knife in a reverse position.

"You better walk outta my house now boy," said David, holding up a plank of wood.

"In your dreams," said the boy, as he charged David, only to get the knife pulled out of his hand, being placed across the knee, afraid for his life.

"You're getting five across the ass," said David, with the sounds of five WHAMS being heard, with the fox faunus on the floor, holding his glutes. David then looked to the girl, "What's your choice?"

"You're dead!" screamed the girl as she charged, only to be held in the same position… but she was wearing a skirt.

"You're getting seven across the ass!" Then, seven WHAMS could be heard with the screams of a child. After being whooped, the two ran out, holding their buttocks in pain.

"David, I wonder sometimes," Ozpin sighed.

"It works! Just give 'em some across the ass to set 'em straight!" David tried to defend.

"Well, I was wondering if you could come to Beacon again-"

"Nope. I'm done working with most of today's generation."

"You can sell your dust to the generation that uses dust constantly," Ozpin suggested, in which David then started thinking, then dollar signs would be seen on David's eyes.

"You got yourself a deal!" David exclaimed.

"We'll need to find a way to get you to Beacon unnoticed," Ozpin pointed out. How would David get to Beacon unnoticed?

"Oh, I know how…" David said. Ozpin called back Glynda, and the two said their goodbyes and left, leaving David who gave a trouble-making smile...
