ok, so I know that you aren't allowed girls and boys in the same dorm rooms in college, but I really needed an excuse for the two to get really close and bond and stuff. But if you want me to change anything or you have any suggestions of what you want me to include in this, please let me know by giving a review or messaging me because at this point I'm just winging it. :D Thanks. :)

Lydia stepped into the room and raised her eyebrows. She immediately knew that she had to share with, a boy. That's just great.
Half of the room was painted blue with one shelf planted just above the bed, it had books and stationary on it. The bed was a grey kind of colour and he had a desk at the end with two piles of clothes placed on top. It was surprisingly neat. She was taken by surprise when she noticed that they had left a nice big space for her things next to it. There was already a simple, plain bed in the other corner of the room with the same layout as the other persons half. She walked over to her bed and placed the box on it, then she walked over to the other side and ran her hands over the blankets. All of a sudden she hears a loud clash by the door.
"Shit" A tall, brunette boy mumbled as he bent down trying to pick up a small box.
"You need any help with that?" Lydia asked, politely.
He shot straight up and regained his balance "Oh, hi. You must be my new room mate? I'm Stiles, Stilinski. Stiles Stilinski" He chuckled, he was already majorly embarrassed. Lydia had noticed him in the courtyard before when she came in. He was the one with the other boys. He joined in with their laughing and there pointing, but yet it was very clear that he didn't actually enjoy it, she could tell by the way he smiled at the boys it was clearly fake and he looked just as nervous as she did. She felt a little sympathetic for him, but then she realised that if he really didn't like it then he would've done something about it.
"I know you" Lydia eventually spoke up.
"You do? Oh, you do. Yeah, I'm so sorry about that whole thing. Your friend has strong bones, she nearly knocked Jackson out!" He tried to brighten the mood, but Lydia wasn't impressed. "Well I sure didn't make a good first impression" He looked at the ground and hit himself with his palm.
"No, no it's alright. It's water under the bridge" She smiled over at him. "I'm Lydia, Martin. Lydia Martin" They both laughed together.
"You need any help unpacking your stuff?" He asked.
"Umm, If you could?" The corners of her mouth lifted into a small smile.
"Sure" They left the room and she took him to the car where she found Malia grabbing boxes.
"Hey, Lyds. Who's this?" She was very cautious when it came to boys.
"This is Stiles Stilinski, my new room mate" She smiled.
"Hmm, you better behave Stiles. She can be a lot to handle" She smirked.
"Shut up, Malia" She laughed.
They all picked up a box and started heading back to the dorms. Malia and Lydia stopped when they got to the stairs once they noticed that Stiles had gone somewhere.
"Stiles?" Lydia called out.
"You do know there is a lift, right?" He giggled and they spun around to find him stood a few feet behind them outside of a metal door.
"Wow" Malia laughed and jogged over to the elevator. "If only we knew this before" She continued giggling.
"You know, you two have nice names" Stiles smiled over his shoulder.
"Gee, thanks. Don't go trying to snatch us both. It's either one or none" Lydia smirked back.
"Oh so I can have one. Lucky me" They all stepped into the elevator, each with one or more boxes in their hands.
"So, Stiles, where are you from?" Malia asked, breaking the silence.
"I am from California, a little place which you've probably never heard of" He replied.
"Really? We came from California as well, a little place called Beacon Hills, do you know where that is?" Lydia asked, it seemed like they were all getting along well, maybe.
"Actually, yeah I do. I think I live somewhere near there" He shrugged "That's cool" then the metal door slid open and they left the small square. After another minute of walking and talking, they reached the dorms.
"Ladies first" Stiles gestured for Lydia to step in while Malia walked into her own room. Malia was sharing a dorm room with her friend Kira. Lydia, Kira and Malia had been friends for a long time, but Malia and Kira had known each other longer. She had lots of friends back in highschool, but they were all boys and half of them were werewolves and shit, but she still loved hanging out with them. Malia and Kira were always there, but Kira didn't like Lydia and everyone knew it. So, Lydia stayed away from her and spent most of her time trying to make more friends, but ended up sticking with the boys. There was Scott (The leader), Isaac(The excitable one), Derek (The oldest and most miserable), Liam and Mason (The youngest and most immature). They all helped her through everything, trouble with parents, trouble with school, trouble with being a freaking banshee.
She loved Liam because he was literally like a son to her, his girlfriend, Hayden, was a good person too and she got on really well with her. Liam, Mason and Hayden are still at high school while the others went to different colleges and left Lydia on her own with, Kira. Of all people she was with Kira. Of course Malia was still there, but it wasn't the same.
"So, tell me a little about yourself" He smiled as he placed a box down on the bed.
"Well, umm, I don't have many friends at the moment. They all left to go to other colleges and left me with Malia. I love her, I do, but she prefers Kira and we don't get along so I thought it would be best to just steer clear of them. You know?" She emptied the box and started folding up clothes and piling them in a draw.
"You wanna see a magic trick?" He asked with a wide smirk on his face.
"Umm, sure" She was a little upset that he didn't even care about what she just said.
He spun around and jumped "Poof, you got a friend" And he shimmied his hands and smiled.
"Woah, what a crazy magic trick!" She laughed. "You gonna help me or what?" Her eyebrows raised and a smiled on her face.
"Of course, M'Lady" He bowed and walked over to her half of the room.
"Do you think they meant to put boys and girls in the same dorm? I mean, isn't that - like - not allowed or something?" He asked.
"Why? Don't you like me?" They giggled.
"No, I think your cool. What I mean is, isn't it wrong to have boys and girls in the same room? Don't you need your 'private time'" They laughed.
"I honestly don't mind. I'm fine living with just a boy. All of my other friends were boys and we would have sleep overs all the time and-" She stopped talking once she realised most of them sleepovers were because they had been too scared to sleep on her own because some fricking werewolves were coming after her or some shit. Her eyes widened and then they fell, she missed her friends already and if she was missing them now, how bad will it be at the end of the year?
"Lydia? You ok?" He placed a hand on her shoulder, they were surprisingly warm and comforting, she liked that.
"Yeah" She said quietly "Yeah, I'm fine" Her eyes filled up and she quickly brushed away the tears.
"Ok" He said gently "Where do these go?" He held up a pair of short, skinny blue shorts and she grabbed them out of his hands. They spent the rest of the day making silly jokes and sorting their room out to make it look awesome. They bonded pretty quickly and that made Lydia feel better, maybe she could have a better friend than Malia. Hmm.
