I was asked to make another chapter, and I thought about it. So here it is!
And yes, this description in the same description from Holy Musical B man Act 1 Part 3, with some words changed around.
The world is rotten, and Hera knows it. It's just full of people who make you marry them, and then cheat on you. It's on dark, sad, lonely nights like this that the goddess of marriage wishes she could have a buddy. Somebody who could be her buddy back...
There was a knock on Hera's bedroom door, the goddess lifted her head from her pillow and looked at the door.
"Yes?" She asked as she wiped some of her tears from her eyes.
"Hera, it's me, are you alright?" The person on the other side, Hestia, asked softly.
"Yeah," Hera called back, before dramatically dropping her head back into her soft, goose feather filled pillow, thinking that Hestia would go away. Unfortunately for her, she forgot that Hestia was overprotective of her younger siblings, and so she naturally entered Hera's bedroom without Hera's permission. "Go away!" Hera said, but since her head was in her pillow her words couldn't be made out.
"Hera," Hestia said as she sat down next to Hera, and started to run her hand through Hera's hair. "What's wrong? Is it Zeus again?" Hera nodded. "Listen, you, you just need to..."
"To what?" Hera asked, lifting her head from her pillow. "Let it go? I can't Hestia, I just... I need to go." Hera stood up from her bed, and left the room.
Hestia sighed as she watched her sister leave, and music start to play from Apollo's room, which was across the hallway.
"Huh," Hestia said. "What were the odds of Apollo playing a song that could work perfectly with this situation?" Hestia stood up from the bed, and did what any normal person would do. She started to sing with the music.
"Poor goddess of Marriage, poor little Hera. Lonely caboose on a one car train, and it pains me to watch you amble along this track of loneliness I laid down for you. I remember that horrible night, the night you were swallowed whole. And I swore I'd protect you (and I haven't). So I built a wall all around you, but the wall was too tall, and it blocked out all of the birds and the sun. I tried to raise you right, I tried to raise you proper. I tried to be a mentor and a friend, and a mama and a papa too. And insulate you from any outside source of fright, and make bloody certain you'll never see another, dark, sad, lonely night."
Hera ran into the throne room, which was conveniently free of people who weren't Hera. Hera collapsed to the floor, and music started to play. "The muses," Hera muttered. Sighing, Hera looked up at the ceiling, and knowing the song, and considering her current mood, started to sing.
"As I look at my life I see something's not right like a thousand percent. And I wonder what it is, how it is that it's always just me here crying alone at the end of the night, ten thousand percent. Put most of the blame on Zeus. How come he didn't decide to make some other goddess his wife? I never had a pony, I never had pets. Just a bullshit husband, who makes bullshit demigods.
"Oh! I'm falling apart, I need a friend. Somebody to hold on to. Somebody to confide in. Think of the woman next time you decide to cheat on me, because they are the only ones I can take my anger out on. I once had a friend, who had a bunch of eyes. And I had him look after Io. But you wanted her, so you decided that he should die. So you sent Hermes to deal with him. Then years after he came back ,and you sent him to Camp Half-Blood, so I would feel bad about Io. Which was a really jerkish move, even for you, because what was I to do? I haven't seen him in forever! I used to see him everyday.
I'm falling apart, I'm lacking punch. I can barely eat. This morning I barely touched my brunch. Two spoons of oatmeal, a couple of nuts, and half a banana. And like my soul, the banana was bruised and black. I'm falling apart, I need a friend. Somebody to hold on to, somebody to confide in somebody to ride in the cockpit Co-captain of the friendship ship. Or maybe just a friend ship. If I had a buddy, we could discuss just what we call friendship. I want to be somebody's buddy, somebody who can be my buddy back. I want to be somebody's buddy, anybody who isn't a stupid jerk. I want to be somebody's buddy, somebody who can be my buddy back. I want to be somebody's buddy, anybody who isn't a stupid jerk." Hera looked down at the ground, and out of nowhere Hades appeared, because, of reasons. Naturally he started to sing also.
"I want to be somebody's buddy, somebody who can be my buddy back. I want to be somebody's buddy, somebody who can be my buddy back."
Then, Dionysus, even though he shouldn't even be there, like Hades, walked into the room, and joined in.
"I want to be somebody's buddy, somebody who can be my buddy back. I want to be somebody's buddy, somebody who can be my buddy back." After he was done he and Hades left. Hera looked up at the ceiling with a pleading look.
"I want to be somebody's buddy." She whispered.
I feel like I should write a fanfiction on Hera finding a buddy.
