The sing-song chanting could be heard all around the temple as two small figures followed the sound up the many steps to the temple. One was a small boy about four years old. He looked concentrated, his eyes gazing up at the temple gate ahead. He had long brown hair that hung down to his knees and he was wrapped in a white cloak with gold stars embroidered on it. The other figure was just as tall as the boy but he didn't look at all human. The anatomy of this being was humanoid; there was a head, a torso and four limbs. They wore an armor of some kind made up of prime color segments; legoes. There was no doubt this person was often called a freak.

They stepped into a garden upon entering the temple where two monks were singing their chants to rock and roll music. One was holding a monk's staff like a microphone. Sweat dripped down his shaved head. The other monk was playing his lute and he had a red bandana wrapped around his head. They were both nearly out of breath as they had been practicing all morning. The monks both stopped and looked up at the two visitors curiously.

"Where are your parents?" asked Zen, the one with a monk's staff.

"Yeah, aren't you supposed to be in school?" Ryou, with the lute asked the identifiable boy.

"I can take you away from here," the boy smiled at the monks.

"Okay," they both nodded and followed the boy and his companion out of the temple. Zen and Ryou were stupid enough to be led blindly by this demon boy. They didn't realize that Hao would not help them with their dream of becoming a great rock band. Instead, they would risk their lives for him and come close to death before finally realizing this and finally pursuing their dream.
