Sailing

Ciel couldn't believe that he actually had to travel so far in order to solve this particular case, but it couldn't be helped. That's why he was at the bow of a decent-sized boat heading upriver to a wealthier part of the city he happened to be in. The distance from home wasn't the only downside, however.

Something suddenly slammed into the rail. "Ohh, my poor face…!"

"Do we really need him to come along?!" The young nobleman huffed as he turned and glared at the red reaper picking himself off the deck.

Sebastian's expression didn't change. "Unfortunately yes, my lord."

"Yes Sebby, of course you need me!" Grell pouted and tried to hug the butler again, only for Sebastian to move away at the last second so all he ended up holding was air.

"How well can you swim?"

Grell looked at the taller man, confused. "Rather well, I think but - you wouldn't!"

"I would, if the young mater found you too troublesome." Sebastian's lips curled up into a sly smile.

Ciel managed to keep from rolling his eyes. "If you two are done, I'd say it is time for us to go to bed."

"Mmm yes, bed sounds ni-!" Grell was cut off by Sebastian casually shoving his face into the wall.

"As you wish, my lord. Your cabin is this way."

_-That Butler-*'

Ciel wasn't sure if he would ever fall asleep - the sheets were coarse against his skin, and the hammock would sway every time a wave hit the ship. Actually, he didn't mind that part as much as he thought...

"Yes?" He could hear Sebastian's soft tones through the thin wooden wall.

"Do you want top or bottom?" Grell replied, much more intimately.

The butler sighed. "Whatever you are not taking."

"I'm on bottom, of course. Hehe~!"

Sebastian sighed wearily and there was the now-familiar creaking of a body shifting in a hammock. Then silence...until the ship suddenly hit a rougher stretch of water, the movements nearly tossing Ciel onto the floor.

"Oomph! Oh Sebas-chaan~, what an entrance!" Grell squealed.

"This was not intentional..."

"Oh I do believe it was, now take me!"

"I must attend to the young master; surely this has roused him."

"Ditch the brat and have some fun~!"

"What is...!" Ciel had grown tired of the fuss and went to the cabin his butler and the reaper shared only to find something he hadn't expected at all.

A still-clothed Sebastian casually sat up. "My apologies. It appears that my hammock was not as secure as I thought, resulting in my fall on Mr. Sutcliffe here."

"Bassy's so heavy...!" Grell squirmed, panting a little.

Ciel couldn't believe he just assumed that the two were...good grief. "I am going back to bed."

Sebastian smirked to himself. "Goodnight and sweet dreams, my lord."
