Author's Note: Admit it.

You're reading this right now when you should be paying attention in class. Every otaku and fangirl that I know has committed the "fanfiction peek." Well, no one's stopping you, heheh...

"Ooof."

There is something in my library.

There is something in my library.

There is something in my library!

"Aaahh!" I shrieked. I had been reading up on the history of mind manipulation and another book about human anatomy when it just appeared in my library, landing with a soft "ouch." Spike had left the tree house to go look for Fluttershy because there was something wrong with my owl-it had stopped hooting since last week. So it's was just me and whatever this…huge thing was.

I backed up in a frightened motion and bumped into my desk by mistake. Suddenly, the strange being got off the floor and started flying around my library. My books, my books! Stop touching them, whatever you are!

The large thing seemed familiar though. Maybe I've read about a creature that had hair the color of Rarity's coat and eyes that were toned with melancholy. But the structure of this being was almost…human.

Just like me.

After Princess Celestia had appointed me as her Universal Delegate for Equestria (or UDE), I had started reading more about other realms inhabited by humans. How had it gotten to Ponyville? I wondered, how much does it eat?

"Who are you and what do you want?" I asked it as politely as I could. I've read that other humans could be very violent; causing many wars between each other for something they called "territory," "money" and "God".

The human turned around to face me, "Wait. You can see me?"

"Of course I can, I'm a human, in case you didn't know," I scowled, "my name is Twilight Sparkle, what's yours?"

The human responded matter-of-factly, "I'm Jack Frost. I'm a Guardian, by the way," Jack Frost turned around to look at my books.

I cleared my throat. "Wh-what do you want here-"

"-hey, what's this place called? It's so weird," Jack started flying again, "where's all the fun and the snow?"

"Snow? We're in the middle of summer. Why?" I had to keep this Jack Frost talking until Spike came back with Fluttershy, as I needed the back-up of my best friends to tell this human that he needs to properly introduce himself to Princess Celestia and inform her about his intentions. At least I hoped it would compromise with me.

"Well, if you want fun," I continued, "we have a Pinky Pie around here." I nervously giggled the last part out and stopped when Jack Frost flew up again and started making ice slides.I'm not kidding-ice slides in the middle of summer and in my library! I sprinted near him.

"Hey! What in Equestria are you doing?!" I shouted as loud as I could because Jack Frost was too busy enjoying himself with his sliding. Ice was on my books! How dare he! These books were priceless gifts given to me by Princess Luna and my mentor, Princess Cadence!

"Woo! This is so much fun!" Jack Frost came sliding down the F section of my bookcase, " Come try this!"

"Uurk- n-no thanks (keep it together, Twilight). But please make it go away! These are my books!" I pleaded with the evil human. I wondered if my psychic powers were expeditious on him. He was a human being from another universe- I was assured of this as soon as I saw him emerging from my bookshelves, causing a ripple of time to burst through them.

But my universe's time walls were heavily protected so how did he get in? I will interrogate him about it later, right now I should attempt a calm approach; it's what Fluttershy does when attending to shy animals.

Well, he acted like an animal but he certainly wasn't shy.

"Where do you come from, Jack Frost?" Saying his name out loud sent icy shivers flowing down my back. I took in a deep breath to calm down and flipped back my raven and violet coloured locks.

"You believe in me, don't you?" Jack stopped flying and hovered above me with an expression of wonder on his face. I started blushing for no good reason when he started to stare at me. That peculiar detail aside, the verisimilitude of him telling the truth of his whereabouts weren't very high.

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked him quietly.

He cocked his head to the side, like Spike does whenever he gets confused with my inquiries.

"So, you don't...know who I am, do you?" Jack scratched his chin thoughtfully and was about to say something when we both felt a gust of hot air propelling towards us.

Spike had entered my library with Fluttershy and my owl, and he had started screaming in a high soprano. I took advantage of Jack Frost's surprise and quickly locked his mind to put a hold on him.

I probed his open thoughts nonchalantly as he tried squirming around in my mental hold on him.

Stop-stop-

ARGH- I CAN'T-

YOU STUPID- GET. OUT. OF. MY. HEAD!

Amazing. His psyche structure was the same as mine. All of us in Equestria, actually.

Yet, there was something lurking through all of his neurons; something enigmatic and dark but he pushed me out of that door before I could explore it, and this new wave of thoughts wasn't like his older ones- it was as of there were two people living in his mind-

ShAdOwS-cHaOs-PoNyVilLe

I WILL DESTROY YOU!

I let go of his mind and instantly fell down to the ground with an "oof"!

He also fell down, with purple coils swirling around his skull. Jack Frost was tranquil, with his stellar blue eyes trying to focus on my exasperated face. I was about to admire my work when all of a sudden, his ice slides and my beautiful bookcases came crashing down on all of us.
