It was late evening. Gordon and his family haad just finished watching „Once upon a time in the west". He just felt his children had to have seen that classic piece of movie history at least once in their lifes.
Barbara got up and flexed her arms. „Now I'm all stiff again", she complained but she wasn't really in a bad mood.
Jimmy went and switched off the TV. The fact that he didn't beg to let it stay on so he could watch something else told him that he was really tired.
„Okay you two. Go to sleep, I'll go say good night when you're in bed, okay?", he stood up, too. They quickly went for the bathroom to brush their teeth. Gordon was quite proud that he didn't need to remind them of that.
Barbara yawned. „We should go to sleep, too. Tommorrow's a work day after all", she pecked him on the cheek. „Allright", he whispered. She flexed her shoulders. „Ah, but I think I'll go get some fresh air first. Otherwise I'll be dreaming of that movie again. I'll be there soon", she smiled and went for the porch.
Jim on the other hand got himself a glas of orange juice. He was thirsty. Halfway through the glass he was approached by Barbara again. He was startled at her slightly shocked and dumbfounded expression. She put a slice of paper on the counter in front of him and left the room.
Curiously he picked it up. „Drug deal, Thursday midnight, corner 22nd/20th street", it said. He stormed out onto the balcony but of course there wasn't anyone there anymore.
„Why always thursday?", he wondered quietly and went to bed.
