Why were there so many ghost and evil spirits in Morioh? It had to be a joke, there was no way it wasn't a joke. The abundance of dead children littering alleyways and other things popping their heads out made her feel extremely uncomfortable.

She couldn't just pretend they didn't exist. Morioh was supposed to be a peaceful and boring town, exactly what her doctor prescribed, death wasn't supposed to be so prevalent. Every place had ghost (she hadn't seen any before so that was up for debate) and people died, but she had seen more dead children during her walk to school than…she hadn't seen dead children before but!

What the hell was going in Morioh for there to be so many deaths?

Watanabe recalled the newspaper she saw this morning.

"Eight-dollar movie night for students", "Unemployment rates at an all new low in Morioh" and "Budo-Ga Oka Highschool accepts ten new scholarships". Those were on the front page.

"Fourth body of a woman found this month". That was fitted into the seventh page.

She had noticed the new face crying in the alley way.

The woman's death had been hidden away because of bad publicity and now all she could do was hide away in a corner and disappear slowly.

What the hell was going on in Morioh?

"Hey." The highschool girl blinked as her neighbour struck up a conversation with her. She stopped flipping through the newspaper and stared at the blonde-haired girl who was waving at her.

"Hi."

They hadn't talked before, or she just couldn't remember any of their conversations, so why was she talking to Watanabe? The sun was shining in the sky and there wasn't a cloud in sight, so maybe she was just in a good because it seemed like a good day.

What was her name again? Se-something?

"Anything interesting in the news?" The blonde girl looked at the paper in Watanabe's hands and the brown haired one could only shrug in response.

There was no need to ruin a persons perfectly good day with a bunch of serious and alarming information. She had taken time to start a conversation and most likely didn't want to hear someone complain about seeing dead people.

"A lot of bad stuff, a lot of sad stuff." She nonchalantly answered while flipping through the paper to avoid eye contact. "Movie tickets are only eight dollars; that seems cool."

"Oh!" Her neighbour let out delighted. "Wanna come see something?"

She thought about it for a second. A movie was a movie, there didn't seem anything bad about that.

"Sure, why not."
