Helicopters flew in droves around the bright, flashiness of the casino as patrons ran away from in fear of their lives. Men donned in dark suits swarmed through casino in search for the culprit of this panic. A roaming black blur vaguely resembling a person could be spotted by some in the crowd. The mysterious dark figure finally stopped up above the crowd, standing on top of a light set. Revealing itself to be a young woman geared up with a mostly dark colored assembled with a domino mask, holding a silver briefcase with a smirk across her face.

As soon as she leaped down to continue to trek further above the crowd, she could hear the voices of her teammates telling her to reach for the exit quickly. She acknowledged knew this herself as well and was already was leaping from platform to platform, so she can reach the exit.

Once she was spotted by the group of black suit men tailing after her, the presumed thief quickens her pace until she was on one of the balconies of the casino. However, she was to be greeted by even more men that transformed into dark, vaguely less human looking creatures with masks. She had no choice but to fight them, jumping over one and forcibly ripping off the mask that seemed attached like skin. This caused the creature to transform once more into a giant, minotaur like monster. However, despite the imitating appearance the skilled phantom thief easily defeated them. It was still more coming her though and had no choice, but to head for the fire exit of the casino to avoid being ambushed.

Quietly, swiftly getting passed the security swarming the area. Overhearing a guard looking for her whereabouts, she quickly had to hide away, sneaking past them once she saw an opening. Sighing in relief as she saw a guard looking for her in a opposite direction. Now it was her chance to get out of there, just need to reach the stars. Footsteps felt as if they were coming closer her way, she needed to find a way of escaping quick! Perhaps that glassed stain window is her only chance right now, since now they got her cornered. However, not for longer as the officers readied their guns she jumped off toward the windows. Not before looking back for a quick second with a small smirk, slyly saying "See ya!" before taking the jump through the window.

After landing on her feet, bright lights blinded her for a moment. She was surrounded by the police, ordered to capture her. Quickly, she tried running away and swiftly jumped onto a ladder in hopes to escape them. Just to be met with even more men, SWAT members armed with guns. Panic could be seen in her eyes at that moment, if was she going to be shot. Instead, she was harshly hit by the end of the gun; causing her to lose her grip and fall on to the harsh concrete. Officers swarming around her with one holding her down.

The presumed head of the force seemed surprised at a closer inspection of her. She looked surprisingly youthful, had to be in her late teens. "To think it was some little brat." Kneeling down to condescending give her head a rough pat. "You have your teammate for this, you were sold out."

Now it was she getting cuffed, time for her head on to the police station. Without her garb from before, it was revealed she was a high school girl. Shown by the pictures made for her newly shot mugshots. Everything after that was a blur though.

"Perhaps those drugs for too strong for her to handle...wake her up."

She could feel a harsh and cold splash of water splay all over her face. Hearing a deep, short chuckle from a man. Though her sight was pretty hazy at the moment, there looks like three officers was around her and surveillance camera recording them. "Don't doze off there, girly." She attempted to move more freely from the chair, but was handcuffed to it. "Still don't get it? Just give it up already." Slapping the girl across her face, a pained whine could be heard from her.

"Listen, girly. It's best you start cooperating. Unless you want another dose?" Tired, half lidded eyes trailed toward the syringe on the group, before drifting off to the camera. The man followed her eyes and thought it was hilarious, if she really thought that camera would help her right now. "Oh, do you really think that'll help you right now?" The school uniform cladded girl let out a defeated sigh, audibly mumbling out loud. "...Of course not."

Grabbing the end of her ponytail the head officer smirked down at her. "At least, you're not that stupid." Violently tugging at the ends of her dark brown hair as she gasps and groan in pain, before harshly smacking her head down. Going over to one of the men that had a clipboard in hand, whom gave it to him to survey. Verbally listing off every charge she committed, admittedly it was hard to concrete on listening due to her pained, tired state. As she tried to registered her thoughts, the head officer ushered one of the men with him to uncuff her. Briefly rubbing her redden wrists as a clipboard was presented to her, "Sign here, it's a confession under your name."

For a second, she thought of refusing to take it and could see how that would escalate her situation even more. In a hushed, defeated voice she mumbled, "Yes, I understand." Before properly being given the pen, her bruised wrist was grabbed by the officer whom closed in on her face with a threatening look in eyes. "Don't think you can cry your way out this. We're going to make sure you understand, that you take responsibility for your actions." Letting go her arm, she could get the pen and write down her name.

Kurusu, Akira.

As the now named Akira uncomfortably sat with her head faced down on the table. "We'll be back briefly to further this investigation, so just sit there like a good girl and wait here." The condensing tone was getting draining to constantly deal with. Nonetheless, she said nothing and simply nodded with a soft, dull sound of acknowledgement coming out. After they walked out, outside of the interrogation room someone else is headed her way.

A tall, beautiful woman with silky long hair and cold, intimidating brown eyes was on her way to the same interrogation room. Stopped by one of the detectives guarding the room to tell her that the area was off limits, just for her to curtly cut him off by introducing herself as a prosecutor; Sae Nijima. Despite that she was still halted from proceeded through the door stating that this case was no longer in her jurisdiction. Feeling her phone vibrating she picked it up for the other line to be the disgruntle voice of an older man, presumably her boss. Stating that she was meant to stand by, only irritating her more than her stern make assume to be already by. Stating that this was her case, causing the man to reluctantly let her be.

Now that she was off the phone, the detective stated that her time will be short with the suspect, due to the girl's methods of her crimes still being unknown. With some acknowledged, finally she could be face to face and alone with the young suspect. Her eyes briefly looking surprised at the girl, knowing her already even if just a little bit. "Oh...I didn't it know that it will be you." That look didn't stay for long though, going back to her sharp and stern stare.

"You'll be answering my questions this time around..." Pausing as she caught the sight of a used syringe on the ground. Assuming that they probably drugged her beforehand, her face scrunching into a look of disgust. A series of horrible scenarios briefly swarming in the woman's mind of what could have happened to this girl before this. "...Those bastards."

Her eyes look somewhat softer as she begun to talk to the younger girl in a more gentle, worried tone. "Can you hear me? It looks like you been though a lot. You know, pretty much anything can happen here...and I can't stop them either. That's why it's important to answer my questions honestly, I don't have time to waste myself. " The brown-haired girl looked up at her for a moment, still wearing a tired and pained expression on her face, giving a understanding nod to her.

"Now, what exactly was your objective? Why would you cause such a major incident? I didn't think this was some prank from the get-go, but I didn't have enough to build a case due to not knowing the method."

The methods behind anything Akira did wouldn't hold up in case, she knew that and tried to answer the question with another. "Why exactly would that be important?" Nijima stated the importance of if it can be used in court is irrelevant right now, but it is still vital information she needed to know all the same. The prosecutor had some relief in that the girl was at least coherent enough to answer her back. "Now tell me, when and how exactly did you find out about that world? On top of that, how it is even possible to steal another's heart? I want you to tell me your account of everything, start from the very beginning."

The girl quietly, though with some strain concentrated to collect on her thoughts. As she did that, the presence of a mystifying and vividly blue butterfly flew past her. For a brief moment of time, she felt that she was lost in a dark space alone in her thoughts. The only other presence of a soft, mysterious voice that felt it was speaking directly to her.

"...You are held captive. A prisoner of fate to a future that has been sealed in advance. This is a truly am unjust game..." The voice echoing within the room spoke to true feelings she felt in this very moment. It is truly unjust. "You chance of winning are almost none, but if my voice is reaching you...there may be yet a possibility open to you...I beg you. Please overcome this game...and save the world." That last line felt impossible do though, she couldn't save herself. How could she save the world?

"The key to victory lies within the memories of your bonds—the truth that you and your friends grasped. It all began that day...when the game was started half a year ago...For the sake of your world's future...as well as your own...you must remember."
