Chapter Two

Tanya's POV

"Felix take care of that for me." I remark to my security Really…. Dumbass security.I shouldn't have to tell them to keep people from harassing me.

"I just got on set so let me call you later. Ciao, darling" I put my phone away as I see Edward making his way towards me, "Hey, baby."

"Tanya, what was all that about?"

I roll my eyes, I was not in the mood to get into this right now, "Just some girl… saying how we came here and disrupted her quiet little town." I remark

"Really? I would have thought the town would be happy to have more visitors. "

"Don't be so naïve, baby." I remark only to see his face flash with anger.

"I wasn't naive when I took you back after you cheated with Riley."

So, he wants to play this game. I can play too. I put on my saddest face. "I told you it only happened that once."

"Tanya, Riley's mother called me and told me how you spent all your free time 'running lines' in his trailer" Edward responds glaring at me all the while.

"Yes, running lines. You know for our next scene together." I firmly state, glaring at him to understand I don't want to be doing this.

"Cut the crap, Tanya. I forgave you and I took you back so drop the lies."

"I'm not in the mood for this, Edward. I'm going to my trailer!" I shout, shoving past him.

Edward's POV

She wasn't in the mood!? I haven't been in the mood since she started acting like a dive again! I don't have time to baby her….. I have a scene to shoot.
Stepping onto the set I notice that they were prepping Stew, the dog that would be in the next scene. I wasn't worried about this at all. I would be filmed riding a bike while Stew would be walking next to me. I did this all the time at home with my dog, Kodiak. Garrett, the director was motioning for the filming to start and stopped when he noticed me.

"Okay. Edward, I want to try getting this in under ten takes. Just ride from the bench down the path."

"Gotcha." I reply with a grin. I settle myself on the bike and smile at Angela who handed me Stew's leash. She was the dog trainer we hired to be able to do this scene.

"Okay! Action!"

Once I hear Angela blow the dog whistle I brace myself as Stew takes off and I start to peddle to keep up with him. Not bad. Stew was a natural at this. My confidence didn't last long when I noticed a rock in the bikes path. Oh no! I tried to swerve the bike but it was too late! Pop! The tire busted on contacted and I'm flying off the bike.

Ugh! I groan from landing on the hard pavement.

"Cut! Edward, are you okay?" It took me a minute to hear the panicked voices.

"Yes, I'm fine. Let's go again." I reply, but inwardly groaning when I hear Angela scream.

"Oh my god! Edward, you're bleeding!"

Angela comes rushing over and I try to push her aside, "Angela, I'm fine. Can I just clean myself up and then we can move forward?" I remark glancing at Garrett whose shaking his head at me.

"Everyone back to work, you need to go to the emergency room."

That's when I felt the hot sticky blood running down my cheek. "No hospitals. Can't you just find a local doctor who can put a few stitches in?" With the crew nowhere around to hear I lean in and whisper to Garrett " You know I hate hospitals."

"Edward, your brother would kill me if I didn't get you checked out. Not to mention what your dad would do to me."

Sighing, I knew that this wasn't a fight I would win, I reply. "Garrett, can't I just get stitched up and finish the scene? Then I'll go to the ER?" I ask trying to read his face for acceptance. "I promise if I don't feel okay while shooting I'll tell you. I even saw a Doctor's office down the street." "Fine but Demetri and I go with you to the clinic."

I get up a little too fast and wobble a bit but play it off for Garrett. "You are the coolest best friend and best director, man."

Garrett calls Demetri to get the van even though the office is a block away. I allow the assistants to inspect me and clean the cut on my forehead. Once I had gauze over the cut the signal was given for us to get moving. We loaded up into the van and drive to the office.

Once parked outside what must be a local Doctor's office we watched as Garrett heads off into the office to explain the situation. Giving me a chance to catch up with Demetri.

"So, Demetri, how's Heidi doing?" I knew his wife had been sick with the flu and was unable to travel with us.

"You know Heidi. Still insisting she's well enough to travel."

I always liked Demetri. He started working for me about six years ago. His wife Heidi was my publicist and my sister's best friend. We heard a knock on the window and saw Garrett waving us out of the van. I struggle exiting the van with gauze over the three-inch gash in my head.

"The doctor agreed to stitch you up but he insists his nurse is present at the time."

"Let's get this over with. I don't care who's in the room." I remark as I walk through the front doors.

Once my eyes adjusted to the bright florescent lights I noticed a welcome desk. It was just like I had expected, simple but familiar. There was worn but inviting waiting chairs, even a small table littered with Children's coloring books. An older gentleman stepped out of the back door and introduces himself as Dr. Grendy. Motioning us to follow him I steel a glance at the welcome desk and notice the personal touch of three family photos. I couldn't really exam it as we walked past and into a room as Dr. Grendy turned back towards the group of us.

"It'll just be a moment. My nurse will be in shortly." Dr. Grendy states with a warm smile, before turning to me, "You must be Edward."

Before getting the chance to respond we hear a voice breaking the silence of an empty doctor's office.

"No, Rose, I'm fine. I went home and changed… I'll go tomorrow and watch. I gotta go… No Dr. Grendy had an emergency come in and he needs my help… I love you too. Bye."

I look up and in walks a beautiful young woman. I realize at that moment it was the woman from the set.
