"What the fuck?"

"What?"

Hiro almost bashed his head into the nearby wall in frustration.

He was prepared to do D-rank missions. They were simple things, meant to show you the ropes, show you how to do things and get you your weekly allowance. He wasn't prepared for Benihi deciding that they needed to go on a B-rank mission. The ones where even Chuunin died, died horrible and painful deaths.

"Why are we going on a B-rank?" he asked, voice accidentally cracking from having the body of a twelve-year-old and a healthy dose of fear.

"What do you mean?" she asked, seemingly oblivious to the fact that her genin was shitting himself.

Hiro almost stabbed himself there and then.

What was wrong with this woman?

What have I done to deserve this?

"Bitch," he said, feeling very aggravated, "I am a genin! We're meant to do that D-rank shit, so I don't die."

"Why would you want to do that?" she asked, turning to face him.

"Not die?" he said, briefly wondering if she knew what self-preservation instincts were.

"No, why would you want to do D-rank missions? They're boring," she said as if life was a game and the more dangerous you lived yours, the more fun it was.

"Uh, so I don't die?" he said, next time she wanted him to point out something so stupid, he'd tell her about how the sky was blue.

"Wow, you're boring," she said, flicking her hair.

"And you're fucking insane," he shot back, wanting to forget that his teacher actually existed.

"Apparently, you're also a buzzkill. How do your friends deal with you?" she asked, eyes narrowing as she looked for any nearby danger.

"I," he said, before biting down on his tongue and turning the other way.

"What?" she said, turning back to him, confusion evident in her eyes.

He mumbled something.

"What?" she repeated," I can't hear you, you're going to have to speak up."

He mumbled again.

"Did you suddenly break your vocal cords?" she asked, confused by why he couldn't speak properly.

"I don't have any friends!" he yelled out, deafening her and the surrounding forest. The forest stayed silent as if to encourage the awkward silence.

She stared at him, moments passed before she spoke up again, mirth dancing in her eyes.

"No wonder you're such a sad little fuck," she said, turning around and carrying on along their path.

Hiro froze at that, body and breathing still as his mind processed what had just happened. His legs started slowly moving again, before picking up the pace and catching up to his sensei.

"Sensei," he said, "fuck you."

"I'm a bit too old for you kid," she said, without missing a beat.

"You're also a bit too old to be breathing," he fired back.

"I'm only twenty-six," she stated, wondering where he was going with this.

"You could've fooled me with all those wrinkles," he said, beaming at her and hoping she'd burst into flames.

Benihi didn't even need to turn around as she swung her hand back, knocking him off balance and making him eat dirt, which by now, was a stupidly familiar taste.

"Hey, what the fuck?" Hiro yelled, climbing to his feet and glaring daggers at the woman who had just fucked his shit up.

"What?" she asked, "it was an accident."

"You were a fucking accident," he replied.

"Hiro," she said, and suddenly he was on edge," it's time."

"Time for?" he asked, knowing exactly what it was.

She could only stare at him, a feeling he couldn't name dancing through her eyes.

"You look constipated," he said, trying to get rid of the weird feeling in his gut.

She ignored that, pulling out the mission scroll and reading its contents. Her eyes lit up and she turned around to face Hiro, a huge smile on her face.

"We have to murder someone."

Hiro flinched at how she said it with such ease, and he was distinctly reminded of the lifestyle he'd just signed up for.

"What?" So soon?

Maybe she heard something in his voice because she stopped smiling.

"Oh, sorry… didn't mean to freak you out."

"Thanks," Hiro said, and didn't mean it in the slightest. "That really makes me feel better."

They were about to take a person's life, weren't they? He'd never truly contemplated the thought, the act. The fact that he was going to wring a man's throat, go to bed and do it again in the morning.

Hiro felt nauseous at the thought.

"Ok," he said, very anxious, his heart beating incredibly erratic. "So, who do we have to kill?"

Benihi's eyes softened, her perceptiveness easily allowed her to notice his erratic body language, the fear that was dancing around his mind.

She grabbed his shoulder, turning him to face and looking him dead in the eye,"It's ok, he's not a good person, you're making the world a tiny bit of a better place."

It almost helped. It wouldn't be a particularly good person, but they were still someone and he was sending them to an early grave.

'Better him than me, I guess. '

"What's his name?" he asked, attempting to peak at the mission scroll.

"Suzuki Sei. He'll most probably hire mercenaries or Samurai to guard him. We'll have to scout out where exactly his base is, since the intel only says that it's somewhere near the base of Mount Tori. Then, we infiltrate it and assassinate him," she said, motioning for him to follower her.

"Wait, why do you mean, we?" he asked, very confused as to why she wanted him to come along and drain the life from a man's eyes.

"You're my student aren't you?" she asked, as if brining genin on assassination missions was routine.

"Bitch, I'm a genin!" he said, knowing that she clearly didn't understand that he was a kid who wasn't cut out for this shit.

Yet.

Benihi paused at that, not having taken it into consideration. She frowned for a few seconds before her face seemed to light up.

"I got it! I'll hide you near the place, murder him and then pick you up? How does that sound?" she said, sounding much more excited than a killer had a right to be.

Hiro nodded, knowing this was going to be his last mission. The mission would kill him, or she would, and there would never be a middle ground.

"Are we going to get him now?" he asked, hoping they could get it over and done with.

"No," she said, stretching like a cat, before stalking off in a different direction.

"Wait why?" he asked, hoping they wouldn't have to do anything else and waste time.

"I need to grab some stuff for my hair," she said.

The sound of Hiro's face hitting the nearby wall could be heard for miles.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

It was official.

Hiro hated traveling more than anything on this planet. Well, traveling with Benihi more than anything.

It was a hard, laborious journey in which he was weighing them both down like a literal sack of shit. A fact that Benihi would never stop reminding him about, even if it brought world peace.

"Getting a bit slow there, Hiro?" she asked, prodding and poking, as she jumped around him.

"You know," he said, looking around at the landscape and surveying its beauty," why don't you dig a hole here, and stay in there?"

"Then who would teach you, Hiro? Noone, I'm the only person in this world who could deal with your weird shit," she replied, eyes also locked onto the surrounding area.

"What weird shit?" he asked, glaring at the woman beside him.

"Well," she said, voice quieting until he could only hear a faint whisper," you want to fuck everything."

"What?" he shrieked, no clue where she had grabbed that accusation from.

"Fuck you!" she said, imitating his voice with much more accuracy than he had expected.

"I sound nothing like that," he said, attempting to punch her," I don't sound like an old lady who's going to die with insert amount of cats."

"No, no, no," she said, laughing at him," that was a perfect imitation. I swear, if you bumped into a bear, you'd look it dead in the eyes, and say "Fuck you!".

Hiro quieted at that, painting and wondering where he'd committed a crime foul enough to warrant a punishment like this.

"Benibitch," he said, the word ringing strong and true. He could feel it, this derogatory term, in all it's assholeness was the one thing right with the world. A flame of hope, able to destroy the darkness.

"Wait, what?" she asked, very confused by his new word,

"There's a new word, asshole," he said, attempting to speed up and get in front of her.

She sped up effortlessly, and keep pace with him, very confused by what he had said," Did you just add bitch to my name?"

"No," he said, his voice as innocent as a newborn babe," I'd never dream of doing that."

"You're full of so much shit," she said, a frown on her face, before it morphed into a smile.

Hiro nodded at that. Despite their start, Benihi, despite being an annoying bitch that was endangering his life, didn't seem that bad.

"Ah, Sensei?" he asked.

She turned to face him, eyes sparkling at the fact that he had used the term. A small amount of regret was building up in Hiro's stomach; now that he had shown her an inkling of respect, she may want more.

"Yes?" she asked, eyes as bright as supernovae.

He almost didn't ask, but this had been bothering him since the start. "Why?" he asked, looking at her, as if her face contained all the answers," why are you taking a fresh genin on a B-rank mission."

He wanted to hear this. A small part of him hoped she wasn't actually trying to get him killed, but that she believed in him. The thought made him feel a bit warmer. What if she did believe in him, despite being a lowborn dead last Hyuuga? What if he finally had someone in his corner, instead of against it?

She looked at him, a small smile on her face, and he could feel the grin forming on his. He finally had someone backing him up.

"Well," she said," I don't think it'll be a reason you're used to."

This is it, he thought.

'She believes in me.'

"I'm broke," she said," and a B-rank pays pretty well."

He froze at that, mind unable to comprehend the bullshit that she had just said. He stopped, completely, forgetting how to use his legs and almost forgetting how to breathe.

"What?" he asked, hoping his life was worth a tiny bit more than a paycheque.

"What do you mean "What"?" she asked, noticing that he had stopped," I accidentally blew my savings, and rents due in a few days, so…"

"What?" he asked, finally understanding that she wasn't joking. Finally understanding that he'd been apprenticed to a mad woman.

Benihi's nervous laugh filled the air as he stared her.

"Wait, you're taking me, a fresh genin, on a death mission because you're broke?" He asked, looking at her like she was the devil incarnate.

"Yes."

He took it all back, any positive thought that he had ever had about her. She was a person that would slit his throat

"You're a horrible fucking person."

The grin she sent his way made him die a little inside.

"I know."

It was getting harder to breathe, Hiro thought, surveying the area that their target was supposed to be in.

His clothes stuck to him from layers of sweat, but it was getting a bit easier to breathe. The journey here may have been harrowing, but he had more stamina than the average Hyuuga and he wasn't going to die like a pussy.

He could feel the anxiety rushing through him like a river , so he took a deep breath to calm himself. It didn't work.

'This is going to be so fucking bad.'

He felt something tap his shoulder, and he spun around, fist poised to give whoever the fuck it was a giant bruise. He swung forward, and he could feel his fist connect to something a loud slap.

He looked up, wondering, who or what it was.

Benihi didn't look impressed.

"You do realize," she drawled out," that we have to get back to Konoha before we can start practicing taijutsu."

He scowled at that," Maybe we would be," he said, glaring at her," if you didn't send us on a suicide mission."

"It's not a suicide mission," she replied," I wouldn't have brought you along if I didn't think you could handle it."

"I can't handle it!" he said, throwing his arms in the air.

"Well," she said," it's a good thing your opinion doesn't matter in this situation."

"I think," he said, pausing, making sure to get his point across," that my opinion is a bit higher ranked than yours in this situation, y'know, since I'm the one who will probably die."

"Hmm," she said," you're allowed to be wrong."

"Ok, you can fuck off," he said, swatting at her.

She faced him, eyes staring directly into his, and he couldn't help but think that the crimson glow of the Sharingan looked really fucking badass.

"Look," she said, patting his head like he was a well-trained dog," you'll be fine."

He slapped her hand away," Yeah, ok, I'll be fine."

"Good," she said, smirking her smirkity smirk, before dashing off, faster than his eyes could keep up with.

Hiro nodded, his beating heart calming down. He took a deep breath and faced her.

"Ok," he replied.

"Good," she said

She moved fast enough that Hiro's eyes couldn't keep up.

He climbed a tree, and waited, waiting for anything he could hear. Footsteps, breathing, the random snap of a branch, he took it all in and it almost stilled his erratically beating heart.

Not really.

His breathing seemed so damn loud. It sounded like a tornado going off and he wondered if this was going to be it.

Hiro decided there and then if he died, he was going to haunt Benihi. Not a " posses her family and make them kill each other", no, it was him, him, moving her keys to her house and hiding them because he was that fucking petty.

Minutes passed. Well, at least he thought it was minutes, if this backward ass retarded civilization actually had watches, maybe he'd fucking know.

'I'm going to fucking kill Benihi.'

'Fucking bitch leaving me alone on a B-rank mission.'

'Who fucking does that?'

He activated his Byakugan, grimacing as he felt the veins pop out, still inside of his skin and making him look like a drug addict. He wondered how the first Byakugan wielder felt when he activated it, causing his eyes to have a mini heart attack.

Hiro caught something in the corner of his eye, a familiar chakra signature that made him feel much better.

"Benihi?" he called out, giving away his position and making himself feel like a major dumbass in one fell swoop.

He couldn't feel her land on the tree, but he didn't manage to catch a flicker of her as she sprinted up to him, a blur as black as the night.

"Yep," she said, having appeared next to him, and covered in more blood than there was inside of an average human body.

He swallowed, thinking of the right words to ask their teacher if they had just finished murdering someone.

"So," he said, questioning the small inkling of his sanity," did you fist him with your kunai?"

She looked at him, very confused at how he chose to word the question," How do you even know about fisting?"

"What do you mean?" he asked, turning his head and looking out for any enemies that could've snuck up on them.

Sadly, there were none.

"How do you even know about that?" she asked again, very intent on getting the answer.

"The academy taught us," he said, without missing a beat.

"Uh, no," she said, the mirth dancing through her eyes like waves on the ocean," the academy teachers only taught you how to do the dirty, not this weird kinky shit you're into it."

"Oh fuck off," he said," don't try and pin weird shit on me. You're the one who brought a new genin on a B-rank, you're a fucking sadist."

"Hey," she replied, a smile tugging at her face," it's ok, you're allowed to like whatever you want. Just wait till you're a little older to try it, ok?"

"You can go fuck yourself," he said, " you are the weird one. I bet you're into the freakiest of shit, that would send any other human being into the depths of insanity."

"That was really descriptive," she replied," can you name anything?"

He smiled at that, "I bet you like getting peed on, similar to a fucking cat."

Her features furrowed in disgusts and he couldn't help but laugh in delight. He looked at her, and he could see that he was a single step away from dying a painful, miserable and horrible death.

"Don't worry, you're allowed to like whatever you want. Just wait till you're a little less senile to try it ok, ok?" he said, looking death in the eye and knowing he died for a righteous cause.

He closed his eyes and waited in mock suspense for the second he left the world.

"You know," she said, not sounding very impressed," I had found a summoning scroll for you, but now that you're busy being such a little shit, I think I'll keep it."

She held it out in front of him, shaking it, teasing him like a dog.

"That's ok," he said, "I don't really want a gift from you."

"What?" she shrieked, surprised by his reaction," this is a summoning scroll! You're meant to beg for it, and then I relent, give it to you, and you thank me for being the greatest sensei ever."

"Nah," he said," it's probably got diseases on it, it has touched your hands."

"Hiro," she said, voice serious," take it."

"No," he replied, slapping away her hand," keep your stupid scroll."

"Hiro," she said again," you better take this fucking scroll, or I'm going to put it in a place where you will always fucking have it."

"Sheesh! Ok, fine," he said, making placating gestures and grabbing the scroll from her hand and putting it in his pouch.

"Wait," she said," aren't you going to use it?"

"You want me," he said, pointing to his most definitely inexperienced and genin self," to use a summoning scroll, near enemy territory?"

"Oh," she said, grinning sheepishly," good point."

"You're a fucking idiot," he replied, "a giant fucking idiot."

"Hey!" she said," this giant idiot is a Jounin, while you're a genin. What does that make you?"

"A genin who's smarter than a Jounin," he shot back.

It was a wonder the backhand wasn't heard by the hundreds of mercenaries near their position.

Mercenaries sucked the biggest dick, Hiro decided.

They raped, pillaged, and other inconceivable shit that would make normal human beings want to cry in a corner.

Normally, they'd be ranked second, right behind the fucker who decided to reincarnate him into the Naruto universe.

It would've stayed like that, had a group of the fuckers not ambushed him and Benihi. He'd gotten separated from her, and life was not going fucking well.

He'd found a hiding spot, trying to wait them out and try to find his sensei. He couldn't hear clashes of battle, so she must've drawn most of them away from the area. However, there were a lot of them, and he didn't trust his chances.

He heard a stick snap, and for a second, he could feel his heart stop. He felt the sweat falling down his brow, and the dirt clinging to him like a second skin. He also felt light breathing on his neck, and he could only imagine the shitstorm that was about to start.

"Look at what we have here," a decidedly feminine voice stated, tone filled with a special type of cruelty so thick that he could feel the shivers running down his spine.

His hand moved faster than his mind, reaching for a kunai, he couldn't think, but he could feel and that would have to be enough. He spun around, muscle memory guiding him more than his brain ever could.

It was more than enough.

The blood spouted out of her throat like a hose, dowsing everything from Konoha to Kiri in a fine, thick layer of red, sticky substance. He watched as she clawed at her throat, the last embers of life finally succumbing to the void of death.

'Well, I just murdered someone.'

Hiro ignored the vomit rising up his throat and turned his head from the woman's body.

'I blame fucking Benihi.'

"Boss?" He turned, around activating his Byakugan and scouting for the source of the voice. He couldn't believe his rotten luck.

The woman, now a corpse, had been a leader of a decent sized team, and they were going to search for her. Hiro looked around, panicking and wondering what the fuck he could do.

He couldn't take on any of them, he was a genin and they seemed to have shinobi training, since they hadn't died to Benihi instantly.

Hiro looked around, quickly. It was a bad situation, but they hadn't seen him yet and he still had a chance to survive. He just needed to improvise, adapt and overcome.

"Guys, look!"

'Well, there goes that fucking plan. '

His focus shifted back to the now, dead woman's group, and he almost died of a heart attack right there and then.

They were staring at him, and they looked bloodthirsty enough to give the first Hokage a second thought.

Not really, but he was fucking terrified.

'Shit.'

"Look what he did to the boss!" a man said, pointing at the cooling corpse next to Hiro.

"Get him," another said, brandishing his katana like some fucking edge load.

"Kill him!" one more said, smashing his mace against a tree, and Hiro could see the cracks creeping across the tree like a spider's web, before shattering and falling to the ground.

'Now that's just fucking unfair.'

"Rip him limb from limb!" another one decided to add, because maybe some of the group wasn't fully committed to murdering him.

He stood his ground, switching to a fighting stance, but constantly looking for anything that would be able to help him. His Byakugan seeming to go into overtime trying to find an escape route.

'All seeing white eye? More like the all-seeing eye of bullshit. I can't see a way out, nor can I see Benihi's stupid face.'

He grinded his teeth, unable to find a way out, anything that would help him to survive, to live and fight another day, or what the fuck ever he was doing tomorrow.

The mercenaries screamed bloody rage, before running forward, ready to rip him apart and chew on his remains like a rabid pack of dogs.

'This is it.'

Yet, it wasn't. Only in his darkest moments could he see the ray of lights, his saving grace and the only way he could survive. The thing that was his salvation, and would save him for years to come.

'I could run the fuck away!'

He turned around, and bolted, moving as fast as his legs would carry him and refusing to let them even think of failing. He could hear them following him.

'Crap.'

The run seemed to have lasted for hours, but it was only a few minutes, and with his Byakugan activated, he could still see them chasing him. He could see their chakra networks, they were strong, and they weren't going to fail anytime soon.

'Shit.'

Hiro cursed as the branch he jumped on snapped and he fell to the ground. He grabbed onto a nearby vine and swung into a tree, almost snapping his arm.

"Fuck!"

He stopped, holding his throbbing arm, and biting down on his tongue to avoid making any type of noise. He hissed as put his arm back into place, almost crying out in pain.

'Can't believe I'm thinking this, but what the fuck would Benihi do right now?'

'That's it!'

He reached into his kunai pouch, digging around and hoping he hadn't lost it while running away from those fuckbags.

A vicious smile formed on his face, as his armed grabbed onto a circular object that would be his ticket out of here.

He pulled the scroll out, rolling it out, before biting down on his finger and wiping it on the scroll.

"Summoning Technique," he muttered, hoping they wouldn't hear him, and that he wouldn't get his first summon in the history of forever killed.

The smoke from the technique dispersed and he was greeted by something that almost made him lose all hope, right there and then.

"Who's there?" the summon called out.

"Me," Hiro said," you stupid fucking octopus."

"What?" It shrieked," well I never!"

He rushed forward grabbing the octopus, and jumping behind a bush, narrowly avoid one of the mercenaries that had almost caught them.

"Ok," he said, whispering and hoping the cunt of a mercenary hadn't heard them," I need you to keep quiet and listen to me, I'm in a really bad spot, and unless you help me, your new summoner is going to kick the bucket. I'm sorry for being an asshole but I'm in a bad place, and you're a fucking octopus, so can you help?"

If an octopus could have a stunned look, this was it, and he wished that he had a camera to fucking catch it. It nodded, or what the heck ever that was it was doing.

It jumped on his back and raised it's tentacles, outstretched and surrounding him. He looked at the arms with his Byakugan, and he could see the chakra reinforcement, those arms would be as hard as steel.

'Holy fucking shit, I yelled at this thing.'

He moved as quickly as he could, attempting to circle around all the mercenaries, but there was no way he could pass any of them without alerting the other.

Well, if he was going down, he'd at least take one of these cucks down with him.

Using his Byakugan, he traced the nearest member, and attempted to sneak up on him, moving through the shadows like an actual ninja would, instead of being a magical wizard and spewing fire at him.

As he neared him, he noticed how fucking this dude was, and wondered how he looked like he hadn't eaten for a decade.

'Dude needs a fucking cheeseburger.'

He whipped a kunai out of his pouch, gripping it so hard that his hands ached, before jumping forward, and he could feel the adrenaline in his blood roar.

The kunai approached his neck, but the man turned around, blocking the blade with his own and attempted his own attack.

His kunai shined in the light and Hiro wondered if his luck was this shit naturally, or if the universe loved bending him over.

As they traded blows, the man yelled out for help, attempting to outnumber him and rip his apart, limb from limb.

"Guys, I found him!" he yelled out, defending against Hiro's blows.

He yelped as the man got through his defense and almost took his head off, but it was blocked by a tentacle harder than steel.

Hiro found himself cursing as he attempted to at least take out this fuck head.

"We're going to kill you, and then we're going to rip your corpse in two, and feed them to our wolves!"

"Then I'll make sure to kick you in the dick when I take you to the afterlife with me."

Hiro ducked under a strike and grabbed a handful of the dirt. He danced around the man's blade, before grabbing the hand on the katana and nailing him in the stomach. He shoved the dirt into the man's eyes, and kneed him in the nuts for good mention.

It left a very big opening.

Hiro didn't waste it.

He aimed at the man's throat, but the fucker jumped around like a fish out of water, so he nailed him in the eye, piercing it and the brain.

Hiro could feel the vomit building up as he saw the light drain from the man's eyes, as he fell to the ground, the final words on his lips cursing Hiro, and the world.

'I guess he can keep the kunai.'

He could see the others approaching, and so he bolted, Byakugan glued onto them and never leaving. He barely kept ahead of them, and the kunai they were throwing, wasn't very fucking helpful.

His summon managed to keep most of the kunai off, but it wasn't omniscient, and he could feel his left leg explode in pain as one of those assholes aims rang true.

He waddled forward, refusing to die, but he was just human. Hiro's leg gave out, and he fell to the floor, hissing, and cursing refusing to believe this was how he went out.

'Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit.'

'Maybe they won't notice me?'

"Here he is, boys!" they yelled, following the trail of his blood.

'Ok, I still have my octopus.'

The thought was interrupted by a burst of smoke, and he could only cure his luck.

'That's some S-class level bullshit.'

He flipped onto his back, irritating his leg, and almost making him scream out in agony. He attempted to get up, but legs that had just got stabbed didn't agree with their owners, and he fell to the floor, screaming in pain.

The people inside of the group smiled at him as he approached, they looked gleeful at his wound and position. He glared at them, looking much braver than he felt.

'Well, I guess it's justified. I did just murder their boss.'

One lifted her sword, smiling as she stared down at him. She looked at him again, and the smile seemed to grow even wider," Any last words?" she asked, looking down at him.

"Yes," he said, brimming with confidence that he didn't have," go fuck yourself."

She raised her sword.

He could feel the tears trailing down his cheeks, and splattering against the ground. He didn't want to die, not like this. He hadn't achieved anything, and he was about to die.

He smashed his fist against the floor, and he could feel the blood flowing from it, and he could only hope this was going to be over quick.

She swung the sword in a downward strike, aiming for his neck, a quick and easy decapitation, much more decent than the other fuckers would have given him.

He waited for the intense pain, the total back, and he could only hope he'd be reincarnated as fucking power rangers or something.

He felt nothing, but he did hear the clang of metal on metal.

Hiro opened his eyes and looked up.

"Hey Hiro, you look like shit," Benihi said, covered in more blood than was humanly possible, and with an insane grin stretching across her face.

He would have hugged her right then, had his leg not looked like it had been mangled by a lion, or if this wasn't her fault.

"Benihi, you fucking bitch," he said, almost breaking down in relief.

"Good to see you too, kiddo," she replied, eyes softening as she saw what he'd been through. S

Her eyes became crimson as she faced the group of mercenaries. The tomoe in her eyes spun as she lifted a kunai out of her pouch.

It was over in an instant.

If Hiro could describe the fight in one word, it would be a massacre. Benihi was clean, efficient, merciless, and a trained killing mission.

She seemed to dance through waves of crimson as she cut down the mercenaries, one by one.

It was a brutal display and he could barely believe what he was seeing.

They fell in succession, and they never got back up.

Once everyone was done for, she turned around and faced Hiro, a smile on her face. Anger flooded Hiro's veins as he realized that this was her fucking fault.

She looked at his leg, frowned, and then started grabbing medical supplies from her bag. She lifted his leg, applying something that made it burn. Hiro had to bite his tongue to stop from screaming.

After it had been bandaged, she admired her handy work before looking at Hiro again.

She extended her hand for him to grab, and he hesitantly grabbed it, still more than furious at her for putting him in this situation.

"You ok, Hiro?" she said, a light smile on her lips as she surveyed the carnage she had caused.

Hiro stared at her.

"Sensei!" he said, voice cracking from the pressure of what happened, and the anxiety of actually murdering, not one, but two living, breathing human beings.

"What?" she asked, noticing he sounded like he was five.

Hiro sucker punched her in the stomach. She didn't flinch, and he felt like he had done more damage to his hand, but it was satisfying.

"Ok, I guess I deserve that," she said, rubbing her stomach, more for his benefit than her own.

You guess," Hiro yelled, frustration reaching its peak. "I had to fucking run away from a group of mercenaries. I got stabbed in the leg!" he said, motioning towards his bandaged leg. "Then, I had to kill people."

"What?" Benihi asked, her eyes filled with concern.

"I had to slit someone's throat and stab a man in the head," Hiro said, tears escaping his eyes, and hitting the floor.

"Hiro…"

"Fuck you! It's your fault!"

Hiro's vision blurred as the tears built up. He sobbed and attempted to stop crying, but he couldn't. He had just killed two people. He had watched the life drain from their eyes and he couldn't deal.

Two arms wrapped around him, and he felt warmer.

"Hiro, it's ok," she said, voice softer than he had ever heard it.
