Alright. I know I haven't posted
anything lately, but I've been lazy and busy with school and crap.
And I had writer's block, and seemingly lost my inspiration and
interest in writing, so I didn't have to will to write anything.
Hopefully, this will redeem myself somewhat. And please, remember I
take my artist's agenda and school takes priority over my writer's agenda, so don't
expect me to post something every day. I write as fast as inspiration and my agenda allow.
Now, about the drabble...well, I was surprised by the amount of reviews I got for "Reflections of a Kitsune"(nine reviews, the most I've gotten up till now). Most people who reviewed said they'd like it if I wrote things from Sano's POV. And so, after a long time of not writing anything decent, inspiration struck, and you guys got this little drabble, the companion piece to ROK.
Disclaimer: I don't own Rurouni Kenshin. It belongs to the greatly esteemed and unbelievably talented Nobuhiro Watsuki. If I did own it, Enishi would have gotten his own story, chronicling the events after his failed Jinchuu, and Megumi and Sano would have gotten married. Not to mention a few other changes, such as an AU publication where Tomoe never died...
Enjoy.

Reflections of a Tori-Atama
She was beautiful. She was kind. She was generous. She was thoughtful. She was a doctor. She was everything he ever wanted, he ever wished for, he ever needed.
But he missed his chance. He never got to tell her how much he appreciated her. How he loved the care she put into bandaging his hand. How he got into fights just to have a reason to see her. How he loved it when she flirted with him. How he cherished the way his name came from her lips. No...
He never got to tell her...how much he loved her. And every time he settled down for the night, just before falling asleep, he'd think of her and mumble: "I'm sorry, Megumi."

And there you have it. I wrote this in like, 5 minutes, so it probably sucks. But that doesn't mean you guys can't review. And leave me with loads of constructive criticism. So please, review! And please, don't flame me.
