I Don't Think I'm In the Elemental Nations Anymore

Summary: All I wanted to do was learn some stupid Fuinjutsu, was that too much to ask for?! But nooooo, I had to get sent to another dimension entirely! Why? I probably somehow managed to piss off Kami a ton to make him do this to me. Wait, I think a guy with pink hair is running towards me. I also think he's on fire… RUN! AHHHHHHHHHHH! BYE, SEE YA', GOTTA GO! WHYYYYY DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ME?

Chapter 2: Vengeance on Phantom Lord!

Last time on 'I Don't Think I'm In the Elemental Nations Anymore', we experienced Naruto trying out a sealing technique that he got frustrated with and lost all care. He got himself sucked into another dimension.

On the Fairy side, we see Team Natsu leaving Onibus after they defeated Eisenwald and prevented them from killing the guild masters at their meeting. Natsu gets to Fairy Tail later than all of them because of Erza's mighty strength.

Fairy POV (Narrator)

"Why did they leave me like that?" A spiky-pink-haired teen whined as he walked towards his guild, Fairy Tail. It had taken him a few days to get to Magnolia by foot, but at least he hadn't needed to ride the train with the rest of Team Natsu. Although he did get pretty mad when they had left him behind to let him deal with the landslide he had been in on his own. He looked around at the serene environment he was in and smiled, it was a calm day in Magnolia. As he was walking he briefly thought that it was sort of quiet in town today, but he dismissed it in favor of thinking of what would happen when he reached the guild. 'Erza, fight me now!' 'Shut up, Ice-boy!' 'Happy, why did you leave me all alone there?!' 'Lucy, you too!' But what he didn't notice, being the stupid dragonslayer he was, was that there were barely any people around, and those that were, were whispering.

"Did you hear what happened to…"

"Hey, you should see their guildhall, it was…"

And a few other phrases were being traded between people. But like I said, Natsu didn't take any particular care of any of it. He just kept walking in blissful ignorance of everything that happened when he was gone from the guild. Natsu had bubblegum pink hair that was spiked up in fashion that would be considered rebellious and his skin was a light tan. He wore a dark blue vest that had had a gold trim and was open slightly to reveal some of his lean muscles. Natsu also donned white baggy pants with a cloth hanging from his waist that was the same color of his vest. Wherever Natsu went, people would look at him strangely because of his odd choice of clothing. When Lucy had suggested he get a change of wardrobe, and also said that scarves are only worn in the winter, Natsu had glared fiercely at her and had ignored her the whole day. Mira told Lucy that was because the scarf was precious to him because it was given to him by Igneel, his father.

Natsu sighed when he finally recognized the corner of the street by a few shops where the guild lay. 'Finally.' He pumped his fist in victory and sped up some to get around the street he did turn the corner and see the guild's building, he widened his eyes. He saw all of his fellow guildmates standing around the center of attention, looking angry and sorrowful. Once he got over his shock, his blood started boiling. He clenched his fists and his body heat started rising to temperatures that would kill anyone else, veins popped out on his face as his eyes narrowed and gritted his teeth. "What… happened here?" Natsu asked, talking more to himself than anyone else.

"Who did this to Fairy Tail…" he whispered as his emotions got the better of him. " …What bastard did this to my guild and guildmates…," Natsu's voice rose as he thought of who had done the crime. "WHO DID THIS TO THEM!? HUH?! I'LL BREAK THEM SO HARD THEY WON'T EVER BE ABLE TO STAND!" The guild members that were standing around the scene turned around to see Natsu flaming up in a heat equal to that of an enraged dragon's. "Natsu…" A blonde had seen Natsu first and was worried about what he would do. The image that had caused the fire dragonslayer to react so badly was Team Shadowgear, bloodied and battered, hanged up by their arms to the remains of the guild, which had black poles smashed through the entirety of itself that stuck out of the guild walls. A small white-haired man sighed, also enraged by this provocation, but knew that doing something brash was exactly what the culprit wanted them to do. The flames were increasing in size, rising higher and higher, and getting hotter and hotter. He had seen their symbol, an incomplete circle around a sphere with a spiral reminiscent to a pig's tail coming from the bottom of it, Phantom Lord's symbol, drawn with their blood. "I'M GONNA OBLITERATE PHANTOM LORD, I SWEAR IT! WHERE'S THEIR GUILD? HUH?!" The maddened dragonslayer looked around, as if he would be able to see where the culprit or their guild was. A red-haired young adult saw that the ground around the boy was slightly melting and his flames were lashing out at nearby buildings. She stepped forward, but not close enough to get burned. "Natsu… calm down, if we do something because our emotions told us too, not only they would be injured!" Erza voiced Makarov's thoughts as she tried to placate Natsu and prevent him from trying to destroy Phantom Lord. "You don't even know where they are situated in and guild wars are also made illegal by the Magic Council, if you tried to battle them, you would risk Fairy Tail in the process!" At these words, the teen who was named after summer calmed down somewhat. He was still greatly infuriated by the sinister guild's actions towards his guildmates, "We can't let them get away with this, Erza!" Natsu yelled angrily as Mirajane, Lucy and Cana helped Levy, Jet and Droy, who were now conscious and groaning in pain, down from the guild's wall.

"…I-it's al-alright Natsu…" Levy choked out as she was being helped by Lucy to walk. None of her injuries were life-threatening, but there were many of them. The most notable wounds were a large slash near her right shoulder and a sword wound on her left leg, as if someone had jabbed it towards her. She was barely able to stand, even with Lucy's help and had bruises all over her body. "Levy…" Natsu's rage was smothering, everyone could feel the heat waves coming off from him in response to his emotions. "But how can… you say that... you're alright? How?! Damn it! You, Jet and Droy, my friends, you got injured by some stupid idiot!" At this point, Natsu's rage had slowly subsided and he was leaning against a tree that was situated in the guild's front garden. Everyone was shocked, Natsu rarely ever cried, but here he was, water flowing down his cheeks in liters. "…Natsu… don't be sad! We'll be… fine in a… few days," Levy had looked up to see Natsu's tears coming out full blast. Makarov clenched his fists, 'He's not crying because he is sad, he is spilling tears because of the fact that he wasn't able to be here to protect them.' Everyone looked at Natsu sadly as he slowly wiped away his tears, his eyes shadowed by his hair. Natsu's scarf billowed up from Natsu's enhanced heat. "Master, I won't let you let this pass by, I won't let you let them get away with this. Promise me, that you will do your best to get revenge on them for Levy, Jet and Droy." Natsu's thoughts were reflected by Makarov's, as the small man responded. "Natsu… I can't promise this, but I will get revenge on… Phantom Lord… for spilling the blood of my children. The building I can let go as it's not living or very dear to me, but touch my sons and daughters… and you'll have hell to pay!" Makarov spat out the guild's name that did the horrible deed. "WE'LL GET REVENGE ON THE WHOLE LOT OF THEM!" The master yelled out with his fist in the air, his white coat on him and his Ten Wizard Saints badge stuck to it. "WE'LL SHOW THEM NOT TO MESS WITH FAIRY TAIL! MIRAJANE! HAVE LEVY, JET AND DROY TAKEN TO THE BASEMENT AND THEIR INJURIES TREATED! WE HEAD OUT TO PHANTOM LORD AT ONCE!"

"AYE!" Everyone yelled out to the sky with their fists raised in the air like Makarov. Mirajane nodded with a determined face, and she along with Lucy and Cana took Team Shadowgear to the basement infirmary.

"LET'S GO!" Natsu's flames came back, full force as they started towards Phantom's HQ. Everyone had the sign of vengeance on their faces; that was all they cared about at the moment, revenge...

This is why you do not harm one of the Fairy's precious people. Phantom Lord was in for divine punishment by beings less than gods, yet more than them at the same time. They had harmed one of them.

In Phantom Lord…

"Hehehe… stupid little Fairies… they don't know what's coming to em', eh Jose?" A shadowed figure stood in the doorway to Jose's office, the master of Phantom Lord and a fellow member of the Ten Wizard Saints. "You are most correct. Though I still am surprised why you agreed to assist us." Jose called out to the person in the door while he himself looked through a vision lacrima that had been planted near Fairy Tail's headquarters. "I have my own reasons that you don't need to know… Wizard Saint." The man spat out the title, as if it were poison.

"Ahh that is why you are the most wanted criminal in Fiore, because the Magic Council doesn't know anything about you or your goals, correct?" Jose's face molded into a sinister grin before he looked a the person standing near. He was a man who had short red hair that splayed all around his head; he wore a jacket that had a design of mist waves surrounding it on all sides; he also donned a pair of normal looking gray jeans. The shoes he wore were strange and not seen at all on most people; he wore black sandals that were very open and had two strips on the bottom to raise the wearer a little bit, they made clopping sounds when he walked. Finally, on his forehead, he wore a black headband that was tied into a knot on the back and had a metal blade sewed onto the band that had a strange symbol. The symbol was 4 little tilde-like markings in the places the corners of a rectangle would be. "Well informed, aren't ya' boy? Well ya' might be right about that," the red haired man grinned as well. 'Might as well have some fun while I'm here…'

AN: Who is this mysterious new man helping Phantom Lord? Find out next time on Fair-

GET OUT OF HERE! THIS IS MY STORY, DRAGONBALL Z ANNOUNCER! *Kicks announcer to China*

Hehehe, serves him right, annoying bastard. *Notices audience* O-oh, hehe, umm hi? Well, now we're done with the Fairy Tail portion of the chapter. Let's move on to the Naruto POV, shall we? Oh, before that, a quick clarification. The part when Natsu started crying happened the same time that Naruto had been in the different dimension for about 3-4 hours. And also, Phantom Lord HQ is quite far away from Fairy Tail.

Naruto POV (Narrator)

Naruto had been in this new world for about 7 hours, so it had been about 4 hours since he had woken up from his unconsciousness and he was now exploring this new realm with a certain apathy that would have worried his friends had they been there. His new mood was very unlike him, sad and not reacting towards anything was caused by the lack of hope he had in going back to his homeland. He had been gloomy the whole time he'd stayed in this world; he hoped that it was at least a little similar to what was back home. Although, he didn't see much diversity or suspicion, so he guessed the nation he was in was united, unlike in the Elemental Nations. He had been walking the entire time since he had regained his consciousness and had passed a few towns and was now facing a larger city than the ones he had passed by so far and hoped to get instructions. Naruto really didn't know what he was going to do right now as he knew nothing about this dimension or any of its contents. After all, he couldn't just outright say that he was from another dimension. People would think he was crazy, even the shinobi back home didn't believe what Fuinjutsu had the ability to do. As Naruto analyzed the town before him, he thought about how peaceful it looked; no people jumping from roof to roof, no orders being barked out all the time, and most of all, no one had any hostility towards him, since they didn't know he was the container of the god damn Kyuubi.

Oi, I can hear your thoughts you know!

'Shut up, furball.'

Naruto could feel the malicious waves inside him, directed towards the seal that held the Kyuubi in.

There's something really weird about this place, there are black and gold particles floating around outside the cage. They look creepy.

Naruto didn't respond, as he felt he didn't need to. But he did feel slightly amused that the great and mighty Nine-Tailed Demon Fox was creeped out by something. He stopped by a board that had something that looked like the city map on it and examined it. "Hmmm. So I'm standing here." He pointed to where the side entrance is on the map. He couldn't read any of the text, which seemed extremely simple, compared to kanji, but he tried to figure out the map of the city. It was then that Naruto realized that if the writing was different then the language probably was different too. 'Oh crap, I'm screwed over big time.' "Anyway, I hope this building in the center is part of the government; if there is one in this world," Naruto talked to himself as he tried to figure out what was what here. 'Alright, I better get going then, no time to waste.'

Naruto headed towards the center of the city and his shinobi skills kicked in. Something felt off about this town, it was just unsettling, it didn't seem like anything evil was around, but it was much more quiet and the streets were bare compared to previous towns.

'What's going on? What do you think?'

How do you expect me to know? This is my first time in this dimension, even if I am the mighty Demon Fox!

'Stupid fox'

Naruto could practically feel the Kyuubi feeling indignant about the insult. To rub salt into the wound, Naruto imagined him pulling the ears a baby fox with nine tails, and just like he thought…

OI, I'M NOT A BABY FOX THAT YOU CAN JUST PULL THE EARS OF!

'If I want you to be a baby fox, in my mind you are'

Naruto heard the Kyuubi growl inside his mind before he paid attention to the buildings around him. He observed them to see if he was near the center or not. The whiskered boy recognized some of the larger structures near him that were on the map and confirmed that he was near the center. Naruto's belly growled, 'Oh man am I hungry, I don't have any of this world's money and I don't think anyone will understand me or vice-versa. I hope this dimension has wild animals.'

I'm not wild!

'I was talking about wild animals that I can cook and eat! You'd probably taste horrible.'

No I would not!

'…so you would want to be eaten?' Naruto thought while he looked around at the town, mustering all the intelligence he could to figure out what the people here could be like based on the style of the architecture and what he'd seen. First of all, he knew the people here were friendly most of the time, in other towns, people had been seen smiling at each other as they bargained; you definitely wouldn't see that in the Elemental Nations. Secondly, almost everyone dressed up weirdly in his opinion, in Konoha, almost everyone wore tough, sturdy clothing to be ready in case of an invasion by enemy shinobi. Although Naruto had failed to predict what personality people would have here since everyone is different, he still liked thinking about all the amusing thoughts of the people he had; anything to take his mind off of leaving his world.

That's not what I'm upset about!

'Would you pipe down?! Jeez, are you a freakin' 4-year old?'

No, I'm a 4444-year old…

Naruto looked around once more to see if he had reached the central building by now. Why was it taking so long? As he analyzed his surroundings, he saw buildings he had seen before.

'Was I going in circles?' Naruto thought to himself before he was reminded of s very certain event where something similar had happened. When he had been in the Chunin Exams, during the second test, his team had been caught in a genjutsu that made them go around in circles no matter which way they went.

'Genjutsu, huh? Is that what's going on here? I didn't know people here were shinobi as well.' Naruto slowly took out a kunai and held it ready in front of him as he looked around for a sign of an enemy. He broke the illusion by pulsing his chakra. He always had been bad at breaking genjutsu and creating it because of his abysmal chakra control, but he had finally refined his control to a point where he could at least break genjutsu.

Suddenly, all the buildings sunk beneath the floor, and revealed where he actually had been. He was standing in front of a large gothic structure (not that he knew what that was) that had spikes coming up from the roof to form small tower-like pillars. The construction was dark purple and black in color, and looked very creepy to Naruto. He did what he thought was the best course of action; see what was going on. He knew that someone had deliberately cast that genjutsu on him, no mistake there, but who? Naruto weaved a few hand signs to use the Camouflage Jutsu. He had discovered that he could use his chakra here when he had tried walking atop the water utilizing his chakra. But his chakra reacted in a strange way, whenever he used it, it would make weird colors rise into the air. These particles wereblack and gold, like the ones that Kyuubi had commented on. He also discovered that the Camouflage Jutsu made these particles invisible.

Naruto channeled chakra to his feet and jumped onto the roof, avoiding landing on any of the spikes. He regarded the whole roof to point out any windows he might be able to open and jump into the building from, so that he wouldn't alert anyone. The demon container spotted a skylight near one of the spiked pillars and moved towards it. Crouching, he lightly coated his finger with wind chakra and cut the edges of the window by moving his finger around the glass. Once he had sliced through the glass, it had started falling. 'Oh no you don't!' Naruto jumped into the glassless window, flipped, put his feet onto the ceiling and shot him downward. He caught the glass that was once part of the skylight and flipped once more, channeling chakra to the bottom of his feet, and made a light landing without making any sound.

Naruto watched the insides of the building, alert for any sounds or movement as he made full use of peripheral vision. While he observed the whole interior, he sub-consciously commented to himself about the size of the now-deemed mansion. Naruto almost whistled, until he caught himself from doing something stupid that anyone in the mansion could probably hear. He jerked towards his right towards an empty wall as he examined in carefully. 'I swear there was someone or something right there!' Naruto thought to himself as he moved forward and started touching the walls while channeling chakra to his eyes for enhanced vision. The blonde could detect a very slight disturbance in the air right in front of him; he stared at it for a while before he felt for it. Just before his hand made it to the disturbance in the air, it had moved away. As if it was a person.

Naruto's instincts led him through the next few moments; his danger senses blared at him and he turned around to block a sword with his kunai. "Hehehe, looks like you found me, whoever you are!"

AN: Cliffhanger, I know, sorry! But I had to do it, alright?! I couldn't resist my troll nature at making a cliffhanger. Like before:

Don't be afraid to (constructively) criticize, it actually helps since this is my first time writing a fanfiction or story.

Chapters will get longer as I get into the groove of writing. (Hopefully they will at some point be at least 6000 words.)

Props to FatalityMass and SinOfDisaster for the first two reviews. Also, I'll try to answer all the reviews. I don't think I'll get that many reviews so that I can't keep up with it but just a warning.

Double props to FatalityMass for giving me the idea for the actual title, it might be a little too long but it's not the title that counts.

Word Count: About 3800

Bye everyone!
