Green and Blue:
NOTE: I refer Blue as the girl in this one. Takes place after the Emerald Saga.
Push to Propose
On a dark, stormy night, (cheesy and old!) Green and Blue were on a walk. How crazy of them, right? A stormy night, with lightning and thunder is not something that makes you want to walk outside. Luckily, though, Red and Yellow had made sure they had an electric type-Yellow offered Chuchu- to absorb the electricity. Red ended up lending them Pika, because Chuchu was relatively un-experienced, so she was unable to absorb large shocks of lightning suddenly.
"You know, Blue…" said Green hesitantly as they walked down the road, "Uh…why are we doing this anyway?"
"Because we need to get away from Yellow and Red…you can tell something is up, Green!" replied Blue indignantly.
"What do you mean?"
"Lately…they haven't gone out a lot. Just…hanging at Red's. They sit there and sometimes go into Red's room, but nothing much. I can't spy through his room though…He got Pika to shock it with Thunder Wave last month, and now when I look through it, even with technology, I see whirls and blurriness. All I can see are lines and flashes of lightning. I guess he did that to stop me spying. He even locks the door to his room and makes it ditto proof somehow!"
"It must be coming to the courage building stage," smirked Green, "He's going to propose!"
"Why do you think that?"
"Yesterday, we passed by a jewelry shop, and he glanced at this orange topaz ring that had little garnets, that red stone, and yellow sapphires on the band. Lucky for him, I 'didn't notice'."
"You're a genius, Green!" cried Blue.
"What should we do?"
"I know! We'll get Ruby and Sapph to get them on a date!"
After speaking with Ruby and Sapphire…
"Hey, Red! How's it going?" asked Ruby, calling Red with his poketech.
"Uh, fine, I guess."
"You know…Yellow and you should go on a date!"
"…"
"…?"
"Why did you suggest this so suddenly?" asked Red suspiciously.
"…Because…you were going out with her for months, and now…"
"…I'll think on it."
"Yellow? Hello?" asked Sapph on the phone with Yellow.
"Hi, Sapph! How are you and Ruby?"
"Good, good."
"Chat Chat Chat" for a few minutes.
"Oh, this reminds me! Why don't you and Red go out?" suggested Sapphire.
"Err…"
"Come on! It'll be fun. At least he remembers, huh? I'll help you out!"
"We'll see…"
Later…
"Yes, my plan worked!" cheered BLue, almost spilling her Squirtle Supreme Shake, blueberry flavor.
"It did," said Green with a slight smile, sipping his Charmander Cherry Coke.
They were at the diner, Pokemon Bites, and were discussing their plan. Some people looked at them with interest.
"Hey, Green. Let's take shifts of spying!" Blue slurped the last drops of her Shake.
"Oh, fine," sighed Green, still sipping his coke.
"Let's get Gold and Chris in it!"
"…No. Chris is busy. We can get Gold, though."
"Would you like anything else?" asked the waitress, looking anxiously at the two pokedex holders.
"Why not?" shrugged Blue.
"Yeah, sure," said Green.
"I'll have the Cleffa vegetarian curry, with Togepi tofu," said Blue, "And refill my shake."
"Gardevoir green plate with Rapidash Fiery sauce, and yeah, refill," said Green, handing the waitress his cup.
The waitress jotted down their orders and raced away. Fifteen minutes later, she came back with their food.
"You know, Green, this curry sucks. I ordered veggie, but I shouldn't have. Maybe some egg in it next time."
"I agree. The green plate has flavor only with the fiery sauce. The drinks are ok, though," complained Green.
"…"
"…"
"SO! Let's get Gold."
"Did someone say Gold?" asked a familiar voice.
"HOLY HO-OH! GOLD?" cried the two in unison.
"Yup! I just happened to be here!" smiled
Gold in glee, crunching on a Sunflora-shaped
snicker-doodle.
"Will you spy on Yellow and Red for us? Here," said Blue, handing Gold a micro-video/communicator camera, "This will keep us in touch and updated."
"Spying? Of course!"
At Red's…
"Ouch!" Green said, "Who put a needle there?"
"Dingbat! I out it there-it's a needle to hear what Red and Yellow are saying!" Blue said.
"So…Gold is in there, doing what we asked?"
"Yup!"
"You know…" Green started, "We're trying to get Red and Yellow back together…but, why do we not go on dates much anymore?"
"…Good point! Here, I'll make it up to you!" Blue kissed Green, and from inside, the three dex-holders saw the scene unfold.
Inside the house…
"Thanks, Gold," smirked Red, "Here's your cookies."
"My pleasure! I loved acting like a double agent!" Gold laughed.
Yellow, even as naïve as she was in the romance department, smiled as she got the general idea.
To be continued…In Yellow and Red chapter three! Gold be a double agent again…but for whom? Will Red and Yellow get together even further?
