Ch. 2: Blake Belladonna

Blake sat in the front row of history class, head buried in a book as it always was during free time, She was always the student who showed up to school a half an hour early, just to enjoy some peace and quiet outside of the library, she quickly glance up at the clock to see that class would be starting in five minutes, as a student here and there would slowly, or sometimes loudly enter the class and sit down.

As the teacher, Mr. Port entered the room, Blake closed her book and opened her notebook, she was ready to start taking notes. Mr. Port stood in front of the class, and conducted role call,

"Blake Belladonna?" Mr. Port called out her name for roll call.

"Here." She replied, and with that role call continued,

Half way through roll call, the class was interrupted by an argument outside the classroom.

"WHY MUST YOU BE SO IDIOTIC AND CHILDISH?!" was all that Blake could make out from the incident.

A few seconds passed, and young Ruby Rose, entered the room, 3 minutes after role call had ended.

"Ms. Rose, you're late, please take your seat quickly." Mr. Port told the girl, who nodded and quickly rushed to the only available seat in the classroom, right next to Blake. Ruby rifled through her bag, quite loudly and pulled out her notebook, after a few moments of searching for something, she turned to Blake, a look of embarrassment on her face.

"Hey umm….Blake…do you happen to have an extra…pencil I can borrow..?" She said with such nervousness, but Blake had to admit, though she would never say it aloud, it was kinda cute. She rolled her eyes and pulled an extra pencil from her bag, handing it to the young girl.

"Yes here, you can keep it." She said as her neighbor took the pencil from her hand.

"T-thanks..Blake.." and with that she quickly turned back to the front of the class and quickly began copying the notes.

50 or so minutes later.

The bell rang to dismiss class

And everyone in the room, quickly exited and went their separate ways,

Blake began walking to her locker, which was located at the opposite end of the school, upon arriving there she swapped out her morning textbooks with her afternoon textbooks, closed the locker and proceeded to head to her next class, Physics. She returned to burying her head in the book she was reading earlier, walking down the hall towards the classroom where she was supposed to be.

As she entered her Physics class, on time as she always was, she quickly glanced around the room for an open seat, when she found the only one in the room, she saw who it was next to, Sun Wukong, the crazy, possibly stupid, but cute guy, who also happened to be a faunus, she headed toward the seat and sat down, took out her textbook, and opened it to the designated chapter.

"Hey Blake, whatcha doin'?" the monkey boy asked her, always trying to make conversation with her, even though nine times out of ten it got on her nerves,

"I'm doing the assignment…you know, like we're all supposed to be doing right now?" She replied, hinting that she was not in the mood for social interaction (though she rarely ever was.) but Sun, didn't seem to get the memo she was putting out, as he kept talking to her, distracting her from her work.

"This assignment seems pretty dumb, you know?"

"Not when it's apart of our grade, you know, the thing that gets us into a good college?"

"College? Why would I want to spend another four years in a hell hole like school? My parents never went to college and they're doing pretty well for themselves!"

"Whatever." She replied and continued the assignment, a few minutes later, the bell to dismiss class rang and she gathered her things, rather quickly and exited the classroom, making sure to hand her Physics teacher the completed assignment before leaving. As she exited the classroom, she headed to the cafeteria, where she sat with, Weiss Schnee and Yang Xiao Long, the only two somewhat sane and tolerable people in this entire school.

After lunch, she headed towards the gym for her next class, P.E, as she turned the corner, she was bumped into, causing her to drop her book,

"OH! I'M SORRY BLAKE! I DIDN'T MEAN TO!" Ruby Rose yelled embarrassingly and shyly, as Blake bent down to pick up her book.

This girl is going to get someone killed one of these days…. She thought to herself, as she stood up, book back in hand,

"It's fine." She replied as she walked off towards her class, she caught a brief glimpse of Ruby turning the corner, before being out of sight.

After the young girl had left, Blake continued on her way to P.E.
