Disclaimer:
Well unfortunately, I do not own any part of this story that you recognise. However, If you don't it is completely and utterly mine.
Possibly.
A/N: Ok, I have decided to dedicate this WHOLE story to PotterGeek020, purely for the fact that whilst I am going through my little drabble phase, she (I'm sorry I'm guessing you are in fact a she!) has always reviewed and told me I need to write longer stories. So, this ones for you, kid.
It took five months before she even looked at him, she didn't smile at him, she didn't nod, she just looked at him. Indifference in her eyes. It was the first time she showed any acknowledgement of him at all. It wasn't much, but it was enough to make his months of being patient, worth it.
Even more months went by before there was any development in the 'relationship' these people shared. He had laid his hand out, flat on the table, slowly she unwrapped one of her own hands from the coffee cup and gently lay it over his own. She before she could pull away, he had clasped her hand in his own, rubbing his thumb over the soft skin.
The following visit was the first time he had ever seen her cry. Silent tears cascading down her face, landing into her coffee cup. He wasn't sure how to comfort her, or even if he should. After a few minutes the sound of cheap wooden chairs being scraped across the stone floor, echoed across the room causing several people to look up. She didn't fall into his arms, he just placed one around her. It felt awkward. But to the unknowing bystander, they looked as though they simply fit.
A/N: Ok, so I promise I am going to update Safe House however the ending is still up in arms at the moment. Let me know what you think of Coffee Cups please!!!
