Disclaimer : I own nothing but the plot. The characters belong to Masashi Kishimoto and Yana Toboso. UnBeta-ed... This was made purely for enjoyment purposes.

A/N : Okay, this is my first ever crossover. I have been trying to find another anime character that I can pair with Sasuke. I was just recently introduced to Kuroshitsuji by a co-worker about 3 months ago. She got me hooked with Sebastian... and then my over-active imagination took place. This is a story I made to celebrate my 4 years in FFN...

In this story... just to fit my imagination... Ciel ended the contract with Sebastian since he was already turned into "a fellow fiend of hell"l. So our dashing demon is again free for lease... *wink*

The Eternal Price

Chapter 2

"I shall leave tomorrow. I can't wait for you to finish your business chores... I told you to hire someone for that..." Sasuke stated.

"So be it. But I will go after you as soon as possible." he stated. Sasuke nodded "Sorry to interrupt..." he said with a sly smirk. Itachi sighed as he looked at Sasuke's disappearing frame.

"He loves to tease you, ne?" Kurama observed. Itachi looked at the man and nodded "Spoiled brat..." he sighed. Kurama laughed "You have no one to blame but yourself..." Kurama stated. Itachi smiled "Yes... I am guilty as charged..." he agreed.

Sasuke was smirking at his room. It was so funny catching Itachi looking all flushed. He always guessed that the red-haired demon had the hots for his brother.

He wasn't blind. He can see the hungry looks from those fiery eyes. The demon always acted like puppy whenever he was near Itachi, he just can't figure why Itachi haven't noticed it... or maybe his brother was just playing hard to get with the demon.

He arranged his credit cards and identification cards in a sleek leather wallet. He already made arrangements for an airline ticket. He knew Itachi would want to fly using their private plane. He wanted to travel the normal way, it was nice to mingle with normal humans from time to time.

He turned his laptop on and made random searches on the internet. He didn't know where to go to, but his first stop was Paris. He can always take a train and go elsewhere after reaching the city. He wanted to find a place that is modern in a way but still have lots of history on it. He might get an intellectual demon that he can talk things over. He didin't want to get too bloody like Itachi had before.

Paris was pretty classy, he thought as he scanned over the pictures... but he can't imagine it to be a place for demons... vampire -yes... but it was too feminine... and he didn't want his demon to be weak in any sort of way.

He can go to Russia... Sweden or any other country in the Baltic region. He can even go to Spain form there.. He knew that demons were everywhere. He will try to hunt one without Itachi as far as he could... it was for his ritual after all. He can't depend everything on Itachi.

He will let his senses lead him to where he needs to go to. He have been training on tracking demons for many years and it was time to use it on another location. Asia's demons were all claimed. He needed to leave the continent and look elsewhere.

He decided to make a random choice. Let the fates choose his destination. He made a reservation online and did an absent-minded purchase. He then turned his wireless printer and printed his completed registration. His flight was for 3 pm. That was all that matters. He will check with the destination later.

He turned his laptop off and went to bed. He stared at the ceiling and gave out a deep sigh. Being a Shaman in the modern world was not that fun. One cannot walk around chanting and casting spells or curses here and there. One cannot challenge someone for territory or power easily. Itachi was always so lucky to be born earlier than him. He had more time with their parents... which was only thing he was jealous of his brother.

He sighed and closed his eyes. He hoped to be lucky this time. Despite being a wielder of black magic, Sasuke believed in luck. Yes, one can control many things in one's lifetime... but one cannot bend the will of Lady Luck.

But in all honesty, he felt somewhat lucky. Maybe he will get lucky on this venture. He started to drift off with that thought in his mind.

The next day, Sasuke woke up and took his time in the bathroom. He was not an early riser like his brother and his flight was still hours away. He knew that last night was the last time he would see Itachi, for the man reported to work - in a business suit everyday. Sasuke have ridiculed Itachi for that. But the elder raven stated that he liked to mingle with his mortal employees. Sasuke have known better - Itachi loved the attention he gets from the crowd of awestruck mortals.

Sasuke left the bathroom and walked around the house naked, which didn't worry him for the house was deserted. He went to the kitchen with a towel draped around his neck. As he peeked over the refrigerator for something cold to drink, he heard a faint clearing of voice - he know exactly who it was. Who else would be in the house? He then heard an amused chuckle.

Annoyed he turned around and faced the flame-haired demon. "What the hell are you laughing at?" he spat angrily. It didn't mean that Sasuke hated the demon. But it seems to him that Kurama loved hitting his anger button most of the time.

"Are you always this cocky and confident, Sasuke?" Kurama asked. Sasuke scowled "If you are pertaining to my nakedness, well I don't give a damn!" he glared at the demon. The man licked his lips and gave Sasuke a smug smile "Honestly Sasuke, you need to be decent sometimes..." he teased the young raven.

"I bet deep inside, I know you enjoy looking Kurama..." the raven smirked. Kurama's smile grew wider. The demon Sasuke was going to capture would be a demon that could withstand the young raven's fiery attitude.

"Che! Where do you get ideas like that?" the demon commented. Sasuke shrugged and went back to look for a refreshment. He found some milk and apple juice... he took the juice and drank right straight from the plastic bottle.

"You know Itachi doesn't like what you are doing with that container right now..." Kurama commented. Sasuke incredulously eyed the demon "He will not find out if you keep your mouth shut. Please Kurama, go bother someone else..." he sighed.

The demon grinned "Touchy today, aren't we?" he teased Sasuke. The raven bared his teeth, making the demon laugh. "Have a safe trip. And watch your temper. We demons have that too you know..." he warned the young man. Then with a sly smirk, he saluted and left.

Sasuke watched as Kurama's back was engulfed into the darker part of the mansion. He sighed. Kurama always appeared to enjoy teasing and annoying him until he looses his patience. He knew the demon enjoyed teasing him, but he was also aware that the deity respected him like Itachi.

He went back to his room and decided to start packing. He just wanted to bring along a few items. He will not bring any clothes - he can always get them at the stores where he was headed for.

All he needed were a few mortal things that he grew fond of over the years... his mobile phone and his laptop. And of course his wallet, credit and identification cards. He was actually all set.

He started to get dressed. He then looked at his watch - the time showed twenty minutes past noon. He needed to be at the airport two hours before - a weird airline rule that he can't point out it's logic. He decided to eat while on board. He wasn't that hungry anyway.

He grabbed his laptop case and pocketed his wallet and mobile phone. He chanted a seal to his room and quickly made his way downstairs.

"I'm going Kurama!" he said out loud. Though the flame-haired demon was nowhere in sight, he knew that his prying eyes were all over the place.

Before he reached for the door knob, Kurama appeared before him. The demon gave a wide grin, his eyes flared into deathly slits "Good luck..." he whispered and opened the door for him. Sasuke met the demon's eye and gave a him curt nod and left the mansion.

Walking out into the sun, he felt alive. Something he haven't felt in two decades.

He hailed a taxi and gave the driver his destination.

While he waited, he took out the hard copy of his online ticket and looked at it.

For the first time, he saw where he was headed for. Printed on the paper in big bold letters was his destination...

LONDON

He was going to London then.

Thank you for the interest on this fic. I hope to get more input on this piece. I have browsed a few Sebastian and Itachi fics, but haven't seen any for Sebastian and Sasuke. I hope that together, we can make this one hell of a story! hahaha...
